My ideal aesthetic is what I'm calling "sexy tomboy". That is to say, I am 100% femme through and through, but I want to look like what a straight man's idea of a "masculine woman" is. I wanna be masc in the way that LaCroix is fruit flavored, just a little extra something to make things a little more interesting
2lb 'greens' [can include any dog safe veg with high fibre]
2lb muscle meats, lean as I can get it.
2-3 eggs
b. love
2 lb greens
1.5 lb muscle meats, lean
0.5lb organ meat
2-3 eggs
these are classic fibre bombs and love bombs. the love bomb recipe will likely get tweaked as I go.
instructions;
grind greens down, set aside to drain water [thinking cheese cloth sacks with weight on top]
grind meats removing fats as you go [organ meats here too for love bombs]
hand mix greens and meats in a bowl
break 2 eggs into bowl and mix, add additional egg if needed.
spread thin on a cookie sheet and back 20 minutes at 120F/until meat is cooked.
cool and cut into small rectangles.
Layer small cookies on dehydrator - dehydrate at recommended meat temp until crisp.
weigh and bag.
Thinking about maybe doing dog treats side hustle.
Not sure yet if its worth it, but my boys are LOVING the 'fibre bombs' I made for them. And, its really good filler for Ianto's diet. Ianto feels hungry and wants food, but also needs to lose weight so this is the recipe I came up with for him.
1 lb green beans [offered them raw, not interested]
1/2 lb Asian cabbage - forget what was on sale
1 bunch watercress greens
10ish carrots
about 3lb lamb shoulder.
Blend up all veg in a food processor,
set aside.
blend up all meat in food processor, remove fat as possible but not worry about it too much.
realize I have about double the mass of 'greens' as meats. Pull out some chicken thighs that have been badly freezer burned over the last 18 months.
blend chicken.
Mix 1/2 greens with lamb, other half with chicken [because the cats we are moving in with have chicken allergies].
spread lamb-and-greens mix onto a lined cookie sheet and bake on about 150F until cooked through, drain, cool, try to pop into a dehydrator. realize the dehydrator is dead, set back in oven. forget about it. come back to very crunchy treats.
spread the chicken-and-greens into a muffin tin and a loaf pan. set in oven at about 150F until fully cooked. transition into cooling rack then fridge.

Both Ianto and Klaus like these - though Ianto likes them more than Klaus. Because its so much fibre it basically doubles the amount of poop in the house, but that's it. Its something he can snack on late in the day if he thinks he needs more food. I can use it at meal topper to make his kibble more interesting. I can use the crunchy ones as very easy training treats.
With the cats sensitivities I can use any meat other than chicken for them and they can enjoy it too.
And, if I can justify the initial cost of a new dehydrator and some simple cookie cutters, it might be an easy source of money to make more of the treats in the future.

I must not explain the joke. Explaining the joke is the joke-killer. I will face my followers who did not get the joke. I will permit them to pass over me and through me
I can't get over the fact that Dick fucking Cheney said, basically, that Trump is too evil of a dude for him to get behind.
That's like... fuck, idk... that's like Dick Cheney saying a politician is too fucking evil for him to work with. The dude who famously shot a dude in the face and the dude apologized to him. That fucking guy.
