i'll be honest here but i don't believe the eah world is that dark when it comes to it's fairytales. the stories aren't dark and same as our worlds og tales, but more like are kid-friendly versions of them.

i'm saying this because of posts like - "oh, since ramona was a student in eah, she must have signed the book, accepting to die" and "melody's destiny is to drown kids/wow pied piper works at school despite murdering bunch of kids"

like let's calm down, no one is gonna die here

don't get me wrong, kids media can be dark and discuss serious topics, and it's not bad to discuss the dark side of fairytales, but the darkest this show will ever get in terms of their destinies, is briar realizing she'll lose her friends if she'll sleep for 100 years and duchess not wanting to spend the rest of her life as a swan (tbh raises questions about how she was born and her mom but whatever)

i know in shannon's hale's book there was a mention of how Badwolf could've died if RRH hadn't saved his life with a smoke-bomb and Candy Witch telling Raven that every villain needs to stay alive to have a kid who will become the next villain (which honestly also raises questions like - if BW would've died then there wouldn't be the next Badwolf but whatever) but i don't want to mix SH EAH book lore with Show EAH lore since both stories are different.

so yeah, those are my thoughts

We can create a space without russian supporters freely drawing russian propaganda by reporting it

Upd 2: People are telling me that proper reports do not really work on people who promote genocide and draw nazi symbols. Maybe if we can not properly report it, we should report it for spam or sexual content (what a shame, tumblr. Is it possible to criticize them for letting tumblr users post swastika? If you’re just as displeased about the organization that runs AO3 kicking someone for being pro-Palestine (source 1) (source 2) as I am, here are some things you can do…

Use the OTW contact form and the AO3 feedback form to voice your displeasure. Additionally, inform them exactly how you will be withdrawing support until this issue is resolved.

Stop donating to AO3. This is an obvious one, but important. If you have previously donated, but will no longer be doing so, be sure to say it in your feedback form submission!

Switch fanfiction sites. Both for reading, AND for uploading. Alternatives include WattPad, Fanfiction.net, Dreamwidth, Quotev, tumblr itself, or even hosting your fanfiction on a site of your own, via Neocities. Don’t want to stop using AO3’s tagging system? Check out SquidgeWorld, which uses AO3’s open-source code. It even has rules against CSEM and AI scraping! While AO3 doesn’t get money from ad revenue, seeing the number of visitors drop will certainly get the message across.

Encourage others to do the same, and spread the word!
