New Lacey Episode Predictions!

Ghosttundra said this would be a long episode, so I'm certain we'll get quite a bit of lore!

The new episode will show two games: Lacey's Makeup Parlour and Lacey and the Jammers!

This one is a little more of an evidence-based guess, as the teasers Tundra has put out display scenes from Lacey and the Jammers! as well as Lacey's Makeup Parlour.

On the left is the cover of Lacey's Makeup Parlour, and on the right is an image Tundra posted to their socials two months ago with the caption:

this is from the new lacey episode i'm making. i'm submitting it now as proof in court that the spelling mistakes on lacey are on purpose because i find them funny

And below is the cover for Tundra's Patreon/Ko-Fi snippet they posted in February (Jay's drum set says "Jammers"):

It should be noted that both games are "later" games in Yaniaso's career. Which leads in to...

Details about Yaniaso's split and where Rocio is will be revealed

This is mostly from the fact that Lacey's Makeup Parlor was made in 2009, a year before Yaniaso's split, and Lacey and the Jammers! is always listed as a more recent game on the Neocities site.

It's also been a pattern in the episodes for Yaniaso Games to become a more and more visible player. In Wardrobe they weren't a part of the series, in Diner the logo is added and Rocio can be spotted in three times near the end of the episode, and in Petshop Grace is an active character and Rocio is mentioned and seen throughout.

Perhaps we'll get to hear from Rocio herself?

Maisie and Jay will become more important, with Jay's disappearance from the site being tied in to the episode

Jay has completely disappeared from the Neocities site. Her sprite image is gone (Lacey's is now present), and when you click on it, it leads to the "not found" screen. Jay's Skating Game along with Lacey and the Jammers! have been replaced with a box that says "null". While Lacey and the Jammers! never had an image on the site, Jay's Skating Game did.

Maisie and Jay are definitely appearing, as Lacey and the Jammers! is most likely going to be a major section of the episode.

Jay is the second character to mysteriously "disappear", though, with the first being Rocio. Perhaps there's a connection to that, at least thematically? Rocio is usually tied to Lacey, but she seems to be pretty connected to the games as a whole.

Hi......If you don't mind, can I ask, what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series)? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....

Hmm, let's see! I'm quite bad a ranking things, so here's a tentative list of my current faves:

10. MILGRAM Project

This one is a little more recent for me, as my sister got me into it. MILGRAM is an interactive music video project, and while I'm not the biggest fan of DECO*27's music, I love the idea that this project presents. You're able to vote if a character is forgiven or unforgiven based off of the information given through a music video. I quite like some of the representation it has, especially with it having a character with DID.

9. Monster (Naoki Urasawa)

It's just a manga (and anime!) I like a lot due to it's compelling storytelling and antagonist. It was also cool being able to point out actual locations from the series in Germany.

8. To Your Eternity

While I fell of a little bit from the manga, this series still holds a place in my heart. (The Previous Era, at least.) The manga especially is so heartfelt, emotional, and spiritual, with it's exploration of humanity as a concept. And it contains best boy Kahaku,

7. Cardcaptor Sakura

It may be the nostalgia talking, but I love this series so much. It's so sweet and adorable, and some very sweet LGBT representation. Anyways, Sakura is my icon.

6. Lacey Games Series

Lacey Games, being an indie horror series by creator Ghosttundra, holds a special place in my heart. Though short and still incomplete, it's exploration of abuse and trauma through a horror format is beautiful and compelling.

5. Bocchi the Rock!

I feel so represented by Bocchi. Never before has anything conveyed what it feels like to have social anxiety while being so hilarious and fun.

4. Monogatari Series

I have an insanely complicated relationship with this series. On one hand, it's problematic and has elements that I find horrific. But on the other hand, it contains so many stories of young women overcoming trauma and adversity, creating a very powerful narrative about the struggles of growing up. Also I love Senjougahara.

3. Neon Genesis Evangelion

Evangelion is dear to me because of when I watched it. Without going into details, it really swooped in at one of the worst points in my life, and allowed me to feel. It's a capsule of loneliness.

2. Revolutionary Girl Utena

It's the ultimate queer girl revolution. Besides it's strange and unconventionalness that I love, Utena tells a story of escaping the cycle of abuse, and all the details that perpetuate it.

1. Oyasumi Punpun

I have no words besides it's the best thing I have ever read, and that I will never read again. Nothing will describe the feelings that it gives.
