I also have thoughts about this, although I'm assuming they're not part of the same Grail War.
Riddle Rosehearts - Assassin (Wu Zetien, preferably this version--both believe that laws and regulation are necessary to restrain the worst in people and leads to better outcomes overall, which could act as a wake-up call for Riddle seeing someone else doing it or, the funnier option with the fanart linked; he gets a new mom).
Leona Kingscholar - Berserker (Florence Nightingale--on one hand, you have the comedy of her breaking down the door to his room and literally dragging Leona to class. On the other, the drama of her explaining over and over again that she will never give up on Leona regardless of the fact that he already gave up on himself--because that's what it means to be a nurse).
Azul Ashengrotto - Saber (Caeser--I just need him to deal with someone else on his level).
Kalim Al-Asim - Archer (Sei Shonagon--both happy-go-lucky airheads with more going on under the hood than you'd expect).
Vil Schoenheit - Assassin (Semiramis--while I'm sure there's other characters who he'd bounce off of better characterization-wise, or even unique interactions between the two beyond poison, my brain is fried and I cannot think right now. So yeah, poison pals).
Idia Shroud - Lancer (Ereshkigal--The potential. One runs away from a fate he believes inevitable, trying to ignore it for as long as possible, the other having no choice but to embrace it. One shuts himself away by choice, the other unable to leave. Guilt over a lost brother and the complicated feelings of mutually estranged sisters. There's so much you can do with these two).
Malleus Draconia - Caster/Magician (Hans Christian Andersen--I know the obvious answer would be someone from Fairy Britain, but I have a vision. Malleus's biggest problem is how he's treated due to his status and power. Now imagine taking someone with few close relationships and crippling loneliness and giving him a man who will always tell the truth, no matter how little you want to hear it. Imagine the possibilities. I am, and have no idea how to put them into words).
More TWST crossovers AU ideas! This time with Fate/Grand Order!
(There are a few fics on AO3 if you want a read)
So, I suddenly got the idea of what Class/Heroic Spirits each House Warden would summon. I did the House Wardens because it was easier. If you want to see everyone else, let me know and give me some ideas.
Riddle Rosehearts - Rider (Achilles) (No real reason for it other than he was the first one that came to mind.)
Leona Kingscholar - Berserker (either Fran or Penthesilea) (Berserkers take a lot of magical energy to control and Leona has tons of it so why not? As for why I choose these two? You can probably guess.)
Azul Ashengrotto - Magician (Shakespeare) (Both melodramatic scoundrels with a flair for the dramatic? It's a match made in heaven!)
Kalim Al Asim - Archer (Gilgamesh) (They're both rich, love gold, though one is more giving then the other. What more can I say?)
Vil Schoenheit - Assassin (Semiramis) (A poison making queen. Again, need I say more?)
Idia Shroud - Lancer (Ereshkigal) (Queen of the Underworld meets the House Warden of the dorm based around the King of the Underworld.)
Malleus Draconia - Saber (either Artoria or Mordred) (Saber is the most powerful class so it just made sense. Artoria just made sense, while for Mordred, I just thought it would be funny.)
(NO I'M NOT BIAS TOWARDS APOCRYPHA! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!)

Time to scream into the void about the shambling corpse of a game I used to play in middle school.
Before I became a degenerate F/GO player, I used to be a degenerate King's Raid player. I never got too far into the story--I kinda stopped halfway through Elidora Forest--but I played daily and had a blast. At some point I uninstalled the game because it almost broke my phone, and that old account never got linked and was lost to history. But I would play on-and-off in the years after with a new account.
Then Vespa did their Thing(TM) and the game died. Or so I thought. I remembered my old flame a few days ago and decided to check in on it, And you know what I found?
The servers are still up.
The servers are still up, and my account is still there. Naturally, I walked around, and nothing's changed. The NPCs are still doing their thing, the daily dungeons are still cycling through as normal, the overworld is still accessible, just like I remember.
Except the chat is silent, and the in-app stores haven't updated in I don't know how long. It's a ghost town. It's frozen in time, and it's uncomfortable.
I know there's other people there--I try to enter chat rooms and get told that they're full--but I don't really. Maybe they're bots. Besides, are people really still playing this? Who stuck around? How do they handle the fact that they're the last holdouts? Does it make them uncomfortable? It makes me uncomfortable.
It's just so weird being here after the company died, and I am both amazed and unsettled by how normal everything still is.
