The show has to have at least one character that the audience can get behind. Homelander works as a heel, but when TBs started, there were several characters that the audience could sympathize and empathize with. Of course, everyone gets painted with the asshole brush over the course of the series, but they opened the door by having the audience caring enough about these characters that they wanted to see what happened.

You're not going to get that with a Soldier Boy headed series. He worked as a secondary character that was, in some ways, worse than Homelander. He's an adversarial character, not one designed to carry his own series.

Wait... so Amazon saw how SB was received in S3 and decided, nah, nope, we're going to go with a completely new show with entirely new characters and give it the most uninteresting name (The Boys: Mexico)? LMAO!!! Poor Jensen, that's gotta hurt. Spinoffs frequently include at least one known character to invite the original audience to watch. Jensen must have been so incredibly uninspiring for Amazon and Kripke not to go with the SB spinoff.

Like I said, I don't think SB was disliked but I don't think it really took off either. Can't see him having his own show.

A 150 on the LSAT puts him in the 43.9 percentile. that means that 56.1% of everyone who took the LSAT that time scored better than him. The top law schools wouldn't bother with anyone who scored below 160 and that's the very low end of their admission group (most score much higher.

And a lot of other factors go into admission to top law schools. Where you did your undergrad work can count, as well as what you majored in. Law schools look beyond the pre-law/political science pool because they want a diverse body of perspectives in their students. And yeah... sometimes someone who comes from a disadvantaged background and scores the same as this guy might get admitted over him because the school recognizes how much harder they had to work to get to where they were. This is nothing more than a case of sad white boy entitlement.

Wow... they really want to ignore the fact that Kripke was absolutely shitting himself when Jared was on the verge of quitting because of the pressure that the show was putting on his mental health. Kripke knew that without both Jensen and Jared, the show was dead in the water.

Castiel was a side character that was kept around well past his expiration date because of his presumed popularity, while his presence ended up degrading the show over time. If Sam was removed from the show in season 8, I doubt that SPN would have survived another season. There is a reason why the final episode ended with both Dean's and Sam's final deaths, because they were the only reason that SPN worked.

Don't you love when they don't even hide they just wanted Jared fired from it because....Destiel.

I can't help but laugh at how badly that would work. Cas isn't a hunter and for good reason. Can you imagine the massive downgrade??? An angel that can't fight, the core relationship of the show is now a really awkward one, and the rest of it would just be Dean mourning his brother because it's certainly not in character for him to just go skipping off without him. Cas is totally useless he would suck as hunter.

Imagine thinking massively changing the show like that and thinking "it would have been fine!!!!" Yeah no. There's no reason to fire your lead when the show has hit its stride after 8 years of success just because some entitled destiel shipper on Twitter says so.

TV had numerous gay characters and couples going back decades and having a gay/bi character/pairing in a show is no longer such a novelty. Here we have a rather nice list of gay/lesbian pairings from multiple shows and guess what? Destiel does not appear anywhere on the list because 1) Dean is not gay/bi and 2) beyond that pathetic "confession", it didn't exist in canon.

Fanfiction is 100k stories about two dudes in a shiny black car. Fanfiction is 47 chapter epic tales about dragons and magic. Fanfiction is short stories that evoke such emotions that leave you crying for hours. Fanfiction is incredible prose that lingers in your mind for years to come.

Fanfiction is not shameful. It is not worthless. It is not just some silly thing kids do.

Fanfiction is beautiful art and no one can take that away from you. If they try, just write them into your next story and beat the hell out of them.

When you consider that in Europe, high speed trains take you from city center to city center, you realize that train travel doesn't take much longer than a flight the same distance.

So let's take this hypothetical high speed train going from NYC to LA taking 15 hours. A flight takes around four hours to travel the same distance, but I have to travel to an airport which from my house. Depending on which airport I pick, I have to spend at least 45 minutes driving to the airport (or longer if I'm taking mass transit). So let's round up to an hour. Then I have to be at the airport at least 2 hours before my flight to check in, get through security and then kill time before actually getting on the plane. Then we have the flight itself. Once I land, I have to get through baggage claim (if I checked a bag), and then travel from LAX to the city center which can take anywhere from 30-70 minutes (depending on if I take a taxi or mass transit). So all in all, I'm likely spending around eight hours in total for that flight.

Now every high speed train I've taken around the world goes from the central train station where I don't need to arrive early to check in. Even with going through security, I can get there a half hour before my train leaves with no trouble. I don't need to check my luggage so I just hop on the train and then when I reach my destination, I hop off with my bag and I'm right in the center of the city. So while that hypothetical train right takes 15 hours, that's only seven hours more than the flight and most of that is relaxing. Or better, the train goes at night (the way many long distance trains offer in Europe and Asia) where I can get a sleeper cabin of some type where I get to sleep the entire journey and wake up in the morning at my destination. So yeah... count me as team train.

I’ll stare out the windows and see America from ground level and not have to drive. I’ll see the states I’ve yet to see because driving or flying there is a fucking slog and expensive to boot. I’ll enjoy the ride as much as the destination. And then I’ll do it all over again to come the fuck home.

Misha is a classic example of someone who will tell people what they want to hear. He certainly knows that his fans want him to express how much Castiel loved Dean (and Dean alone) so he has been tailoring his story of how he approached his performance to cater to them. Anyone who watched the show with an unbiased eye would have seen nothing in Misha's performance that hinted at romantic feelings towards Dean, and nothing in the storyline about their relationship hinted at it. And we know that there was zero implication on Dean's part (in both Jensen's performance and canon storyline) that he reciprocated these imagined romantic feelings. There was a reason why that sudden "confession" in season 15 became such a mocked meme, because it clearly came out of nowhere.

So here we are, years after the show ended and Misha is still trying to make hay over this imagined "love" between Dean and Castiel while the relationship that was the backbone of the show was continuously mocked and downplayed. We've seen how these fans of Misha's have harassed and insulted Jared at conventions, because they saw him and Sam as the reasons why their ship was never realized as the way they wanted in the show. We've seen how they overrun other fandoms with canon gay and bi characters in an effort to try to convince the world that they were right, and Destiel really did exist and was of cultural importance. And Misha, because he's got absolutely nothing else going on in his life and career, just feeds into their delusions because it's the one thing he's got to keep him at all relevant. I'd feel sorry for him if he didn't go along with these nutcases and continue to encourage them.

After the second time he changed his story you should be able to figure out he's lying to you Mae.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Jared or any kind of real LGBTQ+ representation. This is about their particular ship and the nearly psychopathic need they have to see it realized as canon. If the show did make Sam canonically bisexual and we see him in a romantic relationship with a man on screen, that will not make them happy because it's not the men that they want to see. They only want to see Dean/Jensen and Castiel/Misha as a couple. For some reason that I will never grasp, they want to see this two particular men kiss/have sex on screen.

And it's not that the show didn't color Sam as being bi (or at least heteroflexible). There is a reason why his crossroads demon was male presenting.

Now if you don't all mind... I'm going to go bleach my brain because the thought of destiel in any way, shape or form makes me nauseous.

I just will never understand hellers. They don’t even like Supernatural as it’s presented. They hate Sam the actual protagonist. They don’t even like Dean as written or acted. They sure as shit don't actually like Jensen, when they are gearing up to call him a homophobe, and and probably readying their death threats against him and his family again for WHEN Destiel continues not to be canon IF there is ever a revival. They don’t even like Misha unless he’s talking about Jensen or calling Cass the "gay angel." They are just miserable people who want to make everyone miserable around them, too.

It isn’t normal to NEED a show that is very clearly about brother to be romantic, but only in a "gay" way. It isn’t normal to pretend to be bi, or whatever, themselves just to try give try weight to their arguments (and we know some of the hellers are doing this). It isn’t normal to think a show has this whole other secret show going on in parallel to it, that runs contrary to the actual show. To them: Dean loves Cass more than anything and they are soulmates. Dean would sacrifice Sam or himself for Cass, even though the opposite is proven true in the show. Dean has internalized homophobia because he’s hiding his attraction to men by …. Never demonstrating attraction to men. Sam is a homophobe even though he’s the more clearly progressive brother because he makes Dick jokes to Dean, but Dean calling Sam gay is … a sign that he himself is bi. John was a homophobe because … reasons. Dean must be bi because he’s friends with a lesbian. Wearing purple makes you bi, but only if you’re Dean (NOT Sam). What drugs are these people on?

At this point if there ever is a revival, I hope Sam comes out as bi, like Sera intended. Or Dean comes out as bi, but still doesn’t want anything to do with Cass because he sees him as a BROTHER, similar, but not equal, to Sam. The way their heads would explode would make the shift in canon (because Dean has never been shown to be anything but straight) totally worth it.
