an ultimate guide to crafting your daily schedule 👀✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
‘Ello, mate! It’s werelivingarts and I’m here with a simple guide to manage your time and prioritize your tasks with only 3 steps ~
Before planning anything, For me (you guys might have different approach), I find recognizing my energy level pattern really helpful because I can prioritize tasks and get the done in my most productive time rather than forcing myself to cram for homework after midnight. 🌚🌝
I start planning my day by dumping all of the tasks I remember down to to-do list using Bear, and then I would organize these tasks if they are daily, weekly or monthly task on Edison app – which also allows time blocking. After that, I would prioritize tasks daily on app Success. (This is not ad, this is just helpful apps that I use). 😎
Hope you find this helpful in some ways! Thank you for reading!  ❤️💜💙

random things I do to fool my brain into staying interested during online study
changing my chrome cursor into something cute like a strawberry
changing my chrome theme to a wacky colour
adding stickers onto my laptop
listening to new music in a language I don’t know
or hyped video game music for energy
buying a fidget toy. like deadass I had my doubts but they’re so good
using the web paint extension while in meetings or lectures
changing the appearance of whatever note taking app you use
for epic gamers with light-up keyboards, changing the light’s colour settings
having a very hot or very cold drink
putting said drink directly under my face when working and using a straw, so I don’t forget it’s there and don’t have to move my head much to sip
hav u eaten or drank anything today hey hello it’s already midday
sparkling water perchance?? it’s water but it’s fun and interesting
ambient fireplace 10 hours loop
alternatively, death metal hardcore bass boosted.mp3
putting on a ridiculous outfit and pretending you’re a wizard doing important work. I have given up on being “put together” at this stage
getting up and having scheduled dance breaks to move around
don’t like your chair? are u gay and can’t sit normal? try arranging pillows and boxes to make a diy cross-legged chair or sit on the floor
u kno when you get a million ideas during studying but u don’t want to break focus: hey siri okay google alexa remind me in a sec about this very specific thing that just couldn’t wait 10 more minutes to force itself into brain
giving up. lmao sometimes you genuinely need a break and nothing you do will make your brain focus so don’t feel guilty for needing rest! it’s technically more productive to spend the time resting and recharging than forcing yourself to half assedly focus and get nothing done
tl;dr- changing appearances of devices often for Spice, having small snacks and various drinks, hype music for energy, any and all fidget toys, knowing when to give up

College Packing Tips from a College Student
So I know COVID has prevented A Lot of us from going to college, or we just chose to not attend college. And that’s fine!!! You do you boo!!! In case you are, in fact, going to college this year and happen to be moving into a dorm (this also applies to moving into a new apartment) here are some tips for packing (and what to pack) when moving in.
- pack a small bag for stuff you’ll need when you immediately arrive. This means disinfectant wipes, a mop/broom, paper towels, and command hooks if you happen to be needing them (you will, idc what you think, you will need them)
- bring command hooks!!!!! a lot of college dorm don’t allow nails in the walls for hanging things. I can already hear people saying they don’t need to be hanging any decorations and ooooohhhh boy you are in for a treat. Winter gear???? You want your coat on a heap on the floor???? towel???? you want the thing you dry your beautiful body with on the dirty ass floor????? bring command hooks coward
- wash your dishes before you get there. I know this isn’t possible in every situation, but if you can, wash your dishes/travel mugs/tupperware before you move in. one less thing you have to do
- speaking of which, you will never have enough tupperware. you think I’m kidding??? I’m not. you bring that shit everywhERE you go, and you smuggle as much food as you can because your ass is paying for that, and by god, you will get your money’s worth
- communicate 👏 with 👏your 👏roommate(s) 👏 and this applies to apartments too. who’s bringing the mini-fridge?? who’s got the microwave??? are you having those in your dorm?? do they go to bed before or after 11pm??? comm👏un👏i👏cate
- bring,,,and extra,,,,,set,,,,of,,,,everything. towels, sheets, pillows, do it. yes it means a little more room in your bags, but pleaaaaseeee do it
- you will never have enough kitchen towels. I mean it. you will use those little shits for everything. wiping down a spilled drink, dusting, oven mitts, everything. I used them to wrap breakable things in my other bags
- I can’t believe I have to say this, but bring,,, shower,,,,shoes. If you are in a communal bathroom, there are probably dozens of college students using that same bathroom,,,,do you want foot fungus???? I didn’t think so
- door stop!!! sometimes dorm rooms don’t have these, always a good idea
- if you live in the north like me, and winter is a thing that happens for 6 months, think about bringing a shoe mat/tray for your boots. Doesn’t have to be a big one, but those boots are gonna be tracking in so much salt and snow and dirt, you want to put them somewhere
That’s everything I can think of off the top of my head, but please please please feel free to add more!!! stay safe!!!!! bring masks!!!!!!

Planners
planners never really worked well for me because I would forget to fill them out and always felt constricted by the formatting. I’m also a big doodler and don't like having something so formal. However, I’ve always been intimidated by the neatness and dedication of bullet journaling (and applaud anyone who partakes in that hobby). Recently I got a beautiful little sketchbook from my friend for christmas and have been experimenting with it since I lost my planner. I think I’ve really started to find a system that works.
the system?
having no system.
Essentially I just use different colors for each main idea (schedule, homework, to do lists) so that I can tell them apart and write it wherever and however I want to on the page. It’s very freeing and I am willing to sacrifice ‘neatness’ for productivity.

Preparing for College
I’m going to college next year and I’m honestly trying so hard not to wish the rest of the year away. I’m really looking toward for it and the freedom that comes along with it. I’ve got a lot of plans for dorms and studying. Until then I’ll be working to finish the weird year strong... I’m considering this kind of a studyblr or progress marker for myself
