Happy Saturday everyone! Hope the weekend is going well! ⁣ ⁣ A few weeks ago the lovely Serene @𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 gifted me with the new @𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 Silicone-Free Primeing Moisturizer! ⁣ ⁣ I'm not one to post just for the sake of posting first as you know by now. I love to try products several times before publishing an honest review and the only way to do that... is time! You may not see it here first, but you can count on a tried, tested and true review from me! Happy Monday my loves! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I was recently gifted a box full of wonderful goodies from @frmadcos and the first items up for review are the W.Dressroom perfume and creams.⁣ ⁣ Don't let the minimalist packaging fool you... these smell and feel so wonderful! ⁣ ⁣ The 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 & 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐦𝐞 honestly smells as good as those freshly washed sheets your mom used to hang outside on the clothesline and you couldn't help but stick your face in them to take in that wonderful fresh scent (then you'd get yelled at for dirtying them... at least I did anyway!) ⁣ ⁣ Nostalgia aside, these really have a delicate fresh scent that is not overpowering at all. I love this perfume for every day use.⁣ ⁣ The 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 has a luxurious texture and is very nourishing. It absorbs easily and gives you long lasting hydration. I am just loving this amazing trio that @amika gifted me with! The Sexxxture kit comes with these 3 fantastic products: Beach Look Shampoo - This 2 in 1 moisturizing texture shampoo that leaves hair shiny and texturized. I loved how this shampoo helped hold my curls as my natural hair is very smooth and straight and I have difficulty keeping it styled. I highly recommend using a wide toothed comb when brushing your wet hair as the shampoo does make it a little more dry. Small price to pay to have a style that lasts! Bushwick Beach No-Salt Wave Spray - This spray fights frizz, detoxifies hair and builds long-lasting volume and texture. I love this product so much for creating that summer beach wave look. I spray it all over my towel dried hair and work it in by scrunching handfuls of hair. I let my hair air dry and voila! That simple and gorgeous look! Perk Up Dry Shampoo - This gem quickly absorbs excess oil and adds volume at the roots. This gives my hair the perfect picker upper between washes and even gives it a bit of oomph when things start to fall flat. I love how it is free of talc, aluminum starch and other nasties! A wonderful dry shampoo to take your hair from blah to wow in a few moments! Today's review is somewhat nostalgic for me! Recently #bioreskincaregiftedme their new line up of rose quartz + charcoal products. This brand takes me back to my teenage years as this was the first skincare line I ever purchased. Remember those iconic nose strips? I still use them to this day! Still amazed everytime all the guck they manage to pull put of my pores! 🤭 This 4 piece set included the following products: 🌹 Rose Quartz + Charcoal 🌹 • Daily Purifying Cleanser • Gentle Pore Refining Scrub • Gentle Marshmallow Foam Cleanser • Facial Cleansing Bar First off, all of these products have such a fun and inviting scent. Using them was so nostalgic for me! I was quite partial to the foaming cleanser as it was something completely new to me. They hit the mark when they named it "marshmallow." The foam is incredibly rich and fluffy and feels amazing on the skin. The pore refining scrub did a good job at gently exfoliating my skin. I tend to be on the dry side this time of year so I need to be quite careful with what I use to exfoliate. This caused no irritation for me whatsoever. The daily purifying cleanser is very traditional in terms of texture and performance. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean. Overall these products are quite nice! Happy humpday my loves! Half way through another week and I have yet to hit up the malls for some serious Christmas shopping! I am so behind schedule this year! 💠 I am beyond thrilled that @graydonskincare sent me a couple of their products to test and review. On the docket today is their Berry Rich Probiotic Face + Eye Cream. 💠 Claims • Helps boost skins hydration, prevent water loss and brighten your complexion. It helps diminish the look of fine lines, while strengthening the skins barrier resulting in a more youthful complexion. 💠 Actives • Vegan probiotics • boost skins health and allow good bacteria to flourish. Blue Majik (blue-green algae) • rich in minerals and protein building amino acids nourish and hydrate the skin. Blueberry Seed Oil • rich in antioxidants revitalizes dehydrated skin and fights free radical damage. Cocoa Butter • Restores skin elasticity and suppleness. 💠 My experience • I love the ultra rich texture of this cream. It is beyond perfect for this time of year when I struggle with dryer more sensitive skin. I can't say that it applies effortlessly like other creams I've tried. You really do have to take your time to blend it in evenly. I found it helped to dab some product in several different areas of my face before working it in. The color is divine! It has a gorgeous blue-gray hue and has a very unique aroma which I really enjoy. For a different experience, Graydon suggests applying a thicker layer and leaving it on over night for a super nourishing mask. I'll be trying that out! 💠 I've been pairing this cream with their Full Moon Serum and it really is a lovely duo! I'll be reviewing this product at a later date as I feel each of these gems deserve their own review. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! After so much excitement and over indulging we always feel like we need an extra day or two to recoup! Some #selfcaretime will have to do! . The wonderful folks at @jaxonlaneca kindly gifted me with a couple or their Bro Masks and their Shake and Wake enzyme powder face wash. Fun fact, CEO and co-founder Jen and I graduated from the same university here in Montreal! Small world! Alright, time to dish on the goods! . ⚜ The Bro Mask ⚜ . This is a lightly scented hydrogel mask that is crafted with care. It is made in Korea, but created in the US. Admittedly I was a little intimidated to try it given the name, but I'm glad I did! The mask was a little large for my face (well yeah, it's made for a gent!) but the fact that it comes in 2 pieces made it extremely easy to get a good fit. Overlapping the pieces helped keep the bottom of the mask put, no slipping and sliding. My skin felt AH-mazingly soft and hydrated after the treatment! It's worth mentioning that the mask has a very mild scent as I know some men would be hesitant of a product that smells too "girly." There is an extremely generous amount of highly concentrated serum to nourish mens tougher skin. . ⚜ Shake and Wake Enzyme Powder Face Wash ⚜ . In addition to the fruit enzymes (pineapple and papaya) this powder is loaded with antioxidants: Vitamin B5, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C. It also contains cellulose which functions as a very mild abrasive component to help slough away those dead skin cells. This is also contains a number of plant oils. . This is one hella cool product and I am loving it! A nickle sized amount in the palm of your hand coupled with a few drops of water creates a thick and rich lather that feels AH-MAZING and smells so good! I love how soft and clean it leaves my skin! My dilemma, I made the mistake of letting the hubby try it out and now he is hooked! I'll be needing a re-stock on this gem sooner than anticipated! . Have you used an enzyme powder face wash?
