Yoosung is THE most underappreciated boy in mysme tbh and it BREAKS my fucking heart like,,, people are so hung up on his whole “bUt yOu rEmInD mE oF rIkA” thing but it literally only lasted two days of his route

and i mean,,, can u blame him? yall Rika was like a sister to him, one of the most special people in his life and even though I hate her, she was the ONLY one who truly supported him. So can you imagine losing someone like that to suicide? It was more than natural for an 18 year old to act the way he did, to grieve the way he did, especially because he had no one to lean on after that

And listen, I FUCKING LOVE V, that should be obvious right now, but Yoosung’s feelings towards V in regards of Rika’s “suicide” are V A L I D. I’d be fucking livid if someone I loved like a sibling disappeared and the only person who knew what happened didn’t tell me everything. I know V had his reasons (even though it wasn’t right of him to hide that) but Yoosung’s feelings are j u s t i f i e d.

Yoosung is also depressed af and NONE of his friends, not even in the RFA, support him right and it breaks my heart (*cheritz has confirmed that he would have committed suicide if MC hadn’t joined the RFA and I literally just wanna fucking scream). Zen and Jaehee make it even worse in Casual Story when they keep comparing Yoosung and his lifestyle to Zen’s and saying he is not “manly” or “fit” enough to get a girlfriend and it just  jdgshdg IRKS ME.

People seem to forget that he’s actually super smart, was top of his class, Jumin tried to recruit him for an internship, gets asked out a lot…

And like you said, he is the most devoted and caring person in the RFA, he blindly walked into the dangers of Mint Eye with Seven at the end of his route with the sole reason to protect you, and he’d easily die for you.

So it just pisses me off how the fandom writes him off as a Cousin Complex or just a little boy who whines a lot.

YALL I GOT THIS IDEA AND JUST WORD VOMIT… but the fact that Kakyoin was an artist.

Like… Imagine him sitting in his hotel room in Egypt and pulling out a small notebook and drawing sketches of little things. Or maybe he’d sketch the previous stand user they fought earlier that day. Then, at the very back of notebook, would be random sketches of Jotaro as Kakyoin remembered him. Sure, he’d sketch the others but in comparison to Jotaro, it was 1 out of a 100.

Imagine after his death, they find this cute little sketchbook hiding away in the room he’d occupied. Joseph is the one who finds it because Jotaro is being Jotaro and shit. Joseph doesn’t say a word and keeps it for awhile because he doesn’t want to reopen the wounds. A few months later, Joseph finally sends it to Holly as a gift for Jotaro, who unknowingly took Kakyoins jacket as a memento. The only one memento of him besides the picture of them all together. Jotaro opens the book and flips through the sketches of everyone, the stand users, even cute sketches of heirophant. He even stumbles upon a sketch of the baby stand and cant help but smirk. Finally, he comes to the end with all the sketches of Jotaro doing various things. On the last page, he freezes. There is a small drawing of a chibi Kakyoin and Jotaro holding hands. Underneath in neat writing, it says “I love you.” One more turn and there is a neatly folded note.

“To Jotaro.” The man in question carefully picks up the paper and opens it. The note says,

“Dear Jotaro,

If you’re reading this, then either I’m dead or I finally opened up to you! Honestly it’s probably the latter because I’m too scared it’ll ruin our friendship.

You’re the best friend I’ve ever had and while the circumstances aren’t great, I’m glad I got to meet you and everyone else. I’m hoping we all have a happy ending.

Back to the matter at hand, if you’re reading this… then you must’ve seen the drawings. I know you wouldn’t skip a single page just in case you missed crucial information. Maybe I’m kidnapped and you’re trying to find me. Who knows. But the matter of the fact is, you read my confession.

It’s true. I… love you. I am in love with you. When, you ask? Well, it’s been a complicated journey and we’ve synced up so well. I don’t know when it started, but I can’t stop. Jotaro just stares at the paper for a solid 10 minutes, as if he’s processing. He crumples the paper in anger. He’s sitting on his bed, seething. Why did this have to happen? Why couldn’t he tell me himself? Goddamit Kakyoin. You’re so selfish.

Carefully, he uncrumples the paper and sets it on the bed next to him along with the book, as he covers his face with his hands. There’s only anger showing on his face. He looks at his closet, where Kakyoins damaged school uniform sits.

He can’t believe he never got the chance to let Kakyoin know his feelings were reciprocated.

I don’t care if you use the same pronoun over and over or if you use the word “persnickety” eleven times over the course of ten pages.

I don’t care if your historical references are accurate, or if the characters speak in a way that doesn’t fit their environment.

I don’t care if your romantic pairing makes love on a bed of roses at sunset or if they bang up against the wall in a changing room at Walmart.

I don’t care if your stories are nothing but fluff, or nothing but smut.

worldbuilding tips

populations and peoples don’t just suddenly change at a border marker. cultures interact and blend.

there are usually a multitude of cultures in one place, and religions often have different factions within them

what are the differences between the upper and lower classes? is there a lower class? what system is used? fuedalism? capitalism? communism?

how does your society view and deal with poverty?

think about the diaspora. invent a large population of immigrants. why are they there? how long have they lived there? how does their culture now differentiate from their homeland?

languages. is there a global lingua franca (a language that people use to speak internationally. historically this has been latin and french, and right now, english)? if so, why That One? are there smaller lingua francas within different nations?

a large country will almost always have smaller languages within it. put some in. you don’t even have to name them, just have someone mention that they often have to translate for their parents

the lingua franca will usually be the language of the majority, but not always. if a particular ethnic group has control of the government, and therefor education, then that language will probably become more widespread. although sometimes there are “official languages” and “daily languages”

i could write a whole other post about languages honestly

what things do different cultures see as beautiful? is it eyes? hair? what parts of the body are considered scandalous. are the bodies of men and women seen differently? how do people feel about breasts?

how is makeup used? is it daily? is it ceremonial? do different colours and patterns have meanings or is purely for aesthetic? is it seen as gendered?

basically just don’t take everything in your culture as the “norm.” there is no norm. the world is weird.

learn about other cultures in our own world. please.
