when I started this blog I didn’t really know what I expected, but I wouldn’t have thought it would have reached so many of you so I immensely appreciate all of you being here and following along. I think we really owe a huge thank you to Lin for his words and somehow always knowing what to say at the time when we need it the most.

I’ll be honest and say I’m not quite sure where this blog is headed or how long it will be here but I wanted to say thank you to all of you by doing a little giveaway. now, I’ve given away copies of Lin’s book before but I wanted to spice things up a bit this time around.

here’s everything you need to know:

She looks so beautiful! The colors are so soft and calming, the way her costume's purple changes in hues, same with her messy yet strict pink hair. The discreet change of color for the transparent sparkling part of her costume. Just beautiful!

You have really done her justice, from her long eyelashes, to the shape of her jaw, to her strong aerial thighs.

I absolutely love that blush on her cheeks! It's adorable!

Oh wow this is amazing! The colors are absolutely breathtaking, and the dust (?) flying around gives it such a magical shine!

I love the shading and reflections on the coat, and the facelessness (is that even a word?).

Gotta say, that shiny hoop in the corner is the cherry on top, but I may be biased ;)

In fear of repeating myself, those damn beautiful details! The muscles are so well defined! That pure passion in the Nagas, Phil's haircut (and you know, that nice rear), and that fond gaze just melts my heart.

I am obsessing over the shading (shadows?) on their bodies, especially the Nagas one!

I cannot get over how sweet this is and dear Hell I faint. Such a sweet innocent moment to be cherished between the boys.

I love your attention to detail, and in this instance especially how Phin's pants and well tucked into his boots. I may sound ridiculous, but it's such an important part of his ringmaster costume and you've drawn it so well!

You actually have the nerve to specify ‘female-presenting nipples’.

How absolutely fucking dare you not only perpetuate the rampant sexualisation of nipples, which are inherently for the purpose of breastfeeding, but you actually have the gall to create a distinction between men and womens’ nipples, as if there is any difference of significance between them - there certainly isn’t any from an aesthetic standpoint! Women’s nipples should not be vilified by the very society that glorified them in a hotbed of sexism and misogynistic self-gratification. Kindly go fuck yourself.

So I don’t make rambling reflective fandom posts very often, but following The Greatest Showman Reimagined album release a few days ago I’ve had some thoughts that I’ve finally decided to put down. Since the new album was announced I’ve seen an array of opinions expressed, and I want to explain why I think we, as a fandom, should support the Reimagined album – even if you hate it.
