This is from this morning, 17.04.2024, in Chernihiv, one of the regional capitals in the North of Ukraine.

Russians attacked the city centre. Many dead and wounded.

But here I want to take time to address a different thing. Watch with sound.

The video captured several passersby, including a young soldier on leave.

Notice how the sound of the second missile flying could be clearly heard several seconds before the strike.

Notice how the soldier reacted at once as soon as he heard it and notice how civilians... didn't until the missile hit.

So, I want to stress again: PEOPLE WATCH THAT SOLDIER AND WHEN YOU HEAR MISSILES FLYING FUCKING ACT LIKE HIM. DO NOT FUCKING WAIT TO SEE WHERE THE FUCKING MISSILE LANDS. DO NOT SQUAT OR FALL TO YOUR KNEES. FACEPLANT ON THE GROUND THE SECOND YOU HEAR THE WHISTLING AND LIE THERE DAMMIT.

Two years of war and we still have to have these talks🙄

such constant barrage of bad news and i feel like i need to be saying something about it to keep at least the handful of people following me from assuming that ukraine is doing alright but i just have nothing to say anymore

#living in Ukraine is going to a subway station to hide during a massive ballistic missiles and rocket attack #so you won't die when they drop it at your building and say it was a military object #but if they succeed in blowing up the Kyiv Dnipro dam the subway will be flooded and you still die #which is what they're trying to do since they blew up Kakhovka dam which resulted un the biggest ecological catastrophe in Europe #since Chernobyl #and they ended up managing to blow up - besides countless apartment buildings - a Tripilska powerplant #because we haven't received any support to shoot down their rockets for a long long time #and people still go on about Ukraine undeserving support because they get support #what support? we don't get any. but they still don't support Ukraine anyway #because it was never really about western hypocrisy or gaza or anything #it's xenophobia pure and simple #i have a lot to say about the cult of victimhood and wars as entertainment of angst and tragedy varietion

I was reading news about the attack in Israel when Russia was attacking Ukraine and how fast and strong the response of the U.S. and other allies was. What a hypothetical world. And how expected that was.

Yes, the Iranian-Russian alliance always was strong, but the world chose ignorance to such a threat.

Shit seems straight out of some anti-utopian future fiction. Yet, a reality in Ukraine🫤

First ever underground school has been built in Kharkiv.

The facility has 20 classrooms and can host 450 pupils. 900 in total, with 2 shifts.

This night, russian terrorists carried out kamikaze drone strikes on residential buildings in Kharkiv.

Second blow was struck against rescuers and ambulances who arrived at the scene.

As a result of the UAV attack, at least 10 were injured. Three rescuers were among the dead.
