Death sighed, walking into the Judge’s realm—her little world of judgmental monsters. How lovely. It definitely wasn't a realm that welcomed any other beings but her and her monsters. The thick air already was giving Death a headache, as well as a vague weightlessness in his body, as if he was made of cotton. The temperature was also very unfriendly; it was too cold to go without a jacket, yet too hot to wear one. He settled on sweating rather than freezing. Death did not enjoy seeing her, but he was there to check in as he did monthly. He had to; it was a part of his job as, well, death. The Judge decides who goes into The Warmth versus the abyss and basements of Hell. Death did find Hell quite lovely if you lived outside of the basements… and if you weren't dead. The demons were quite the merry bunch.

I feel to need to explain myself and how I do this conclusion.

Fair point, but I feel as if my presumptuous-ness might hold some ground considering this beautiful man (Cable) straight up left at Wade's other wedding while dude fully knew Wade NOT OKAY and definitely NEEDED someone there for him.

Case in point: my lovely Cable quite literally is hardly there when Wade needs him — well he is, but he often times leaves. That's the pattern I noticed.

Side note: I was a casual reader in high school and missed a large portion of this blog and for some reason I thought Cable, like, died. For the longest time, I thought he was dead. Idk why.

So, I was following the pattern of the drama of Cable having to up and leave to go save the world or do high and mighty things.

Also, the drama would be so in line with the messy drama we all crave and see in this blog. Imagine Wade ruining his own wedding and Peter's vibe because Cable can't be there because he has to save the world or go fight a little guy. Imagine it's something so incredibly stupid and he missed the wedding and shows up late and Wade let's him have it and then Peter is also angry, but sad and understands.

Imagine Cable being told that he only ever hurts Wade, even if that's not true, and he just stands there all stone faced because he also knows it's not true. That pisses everyone off more!

Cable facing what he already knows: he often times does abandon Wade for the greater good and that's kinda shitty of him.

I would love to say more on this, but I am quite literally at work, stocking shelves as I type this.

peter 'i was a teenage superhero' parker is the fun dad. the reckless dad who takes eleanor on all kinds of dangerous escapades that give wade (overprotective mother) stress-induced aneurysms

wade is so protective. he's so protective. he wraps her up in a billion layers in winter so she won't catch a cold. he makes sure she's wearing a helmet and kneepads before she leaves the house with peter. he washes all the scrapes and kisses all her booboos. he is the most doting mother you've ever seen. eleanor kicks up a fuss about it because he worries too much and it's so embarrassing.

wade does NOT care how embarrassing he is. wade actively goes out of his way to be the embarrassing parent. he loves the mortified look on eleanor's face. he loves it.

peter, on the contrary, so wants to be the cool parent but winds up being embarrassing a lot of the time regardless (he has very little concept on what is actually cool).

wade and eleanor are so bitchy to each other constantly. constantly. they're always bickering and fighting. a lot of the time they act like sisters pulling each other's hair more than father and daughter. wade doesn't know where she gets it from. peter is the impartial middle ground between eleanor and wade. they're both constantly vying for his support and affection. in their small, inconsequential bicker sessions, peter always sides with eleanor. wade can't believe his own husband could betray him like this.

eleanor is 8 years old when she says FUCK for the first time and peter's appalled. peter's appalled. wade just can't stop giggling. he clears his throat and tells eleanor that's no way for a young lady to talk. but he notes it down in a scrapbook with a photograph and a million heart stickers "♥*♡∞:｡.｡eleanor's first swear｡.｡:∞♡*♥" as dear to his heart as if she were taking her first steps.

speaking of scrapbooking, wade scrapbooks EVERYTHING. and after so much of his life being adverse to the camera, it warms peter's heart every time he hears wade giddily shout "get a picture of us! get a picture of us!"
