My SWTOR gang is sort of back, as I clean up more of my 2020 Fictober prompts! (How did I manage to write so consistently for so much of the month?  Can I have that energy back?)  I remember having a good time writing something as low stakes as it gets on this one. 

One day my MMO bouncing (I’m over in STO right now) will take me back to SWTOR and I can put their polycule together (Scourge would join after he returned) but for now, there’s these.

New blog!

Hey!  It’s been a while - part of that is I’m in the awkward spot of creating this blog as a SWTOR blog and then...falling into other fandoms/back into old ones and only having so much free time/mental bandwidth.  But also the hellsite is being weird about this blog and it’s really disheartening.  also I really want to keep this SWTOR space just in case.

So, I have a blog for general use (currently Soulsborne and currently in particular Demon’s Souls) over at @cherryflight now!  First post should be up in a bit!  It is a secondary blog off this one so I doubt it will fix all the problems of tumblr being weird at me?  But it makes me feel better at least.

It’s as revised as it’s going to be.  Like I said in the end notes, I’ve been anxious to get to this one in both the wanting to share and afraid of doing poorly senses.  That said, I like a lot about this chapter - revealing the depth of the love Charlie’s friends have for him, the interactions between Aron and Janor, the way Janor interacts with Zombie, Zombie’s flaw running full tilt into the worst manifestation yet and him realizing it…just, it was fun to write!  And I know the first draft got no complaints, but I still hope that I didn’t do it wrong.  I hope you enjoy the read!

So…yeah.  This little prompt fill I rushed out because of the fictober challenge two years ago - I had to keep going on it.  So have one more, set some time later.  Pretty soon before the start of the main story, in fact!  I did enjoy getting to explore bits of flaws and conflict resolution that wouldn’t have come out otherwise.  I hope you enjoy it, too!

Here we go, turning point as Zombie makes a decision!  I altered the beginning a little in editing to make it flow better into his desire to escape from the first draft.

Edited an old fictober prompt again!  There were a few factors involved in Dee’s survival as a decidedly overly-gentle Slig, including this collection of differences he has no name for.  I could go into what inspired it, but I’m not sure anyone would want to hear me ramble.
