Does G. Sessile have any medicinal properties? I find them very frequently around Brooklyn, NY. I don't know if I would personally want to use the ones found growing in the city but I've always been curious.
Very much so, g. sessile is often used in place of true reishi and contains a similar cocktail of medicinal compounds albeit with different ratios -- the full extent of the medicinal effects of laccate ganoderma outside of g. lucidum / g. lingzhi / g. curtisii / g. tsugae aren't as well researched so there's no real indication of how effective it is, but chemically it is a very similar beast.
