I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Hi, hello! I don't know if this is something you've already answered or frequently get asked, but what are some tips/tutorials you'd give when it comes to drawing puppet characters?
I'm making my own puppet project, but I still have a bit of trouble when drawing them. So I hope it's alright to ask you for advice for that.
💙
Hi there! I'd love to give you some advice from what I learned at Henson's and from my experience as a character designer :o) For your project, I'd say think about who your target audience is first; who do you want looking at your project? Nostalgic young/adults? Teens? Tweens? Secondly, you'll want to think of your inspiration sources-- unless you're making a parody, we don't want to be straight up pastiche! I will say, put a little bit of yourself and your sensibilities into it, as that's the approach I took when designing my puppet fellas, but also, look at the stories and characters that you enjoy and make a list of what specifically you like about them. I'm going to use Jim Henson styled puppets as an example since I think that's the look you're aiming for: you're going to want to look at how his puppets were constructed and how they moved and try to translate that to a 2D medium. I can't stress this enough, grab references!!! Grab as many as you need! Pay attention to how their material looks, how it's stitched, how the puppet's shape is constructed, look at their mouth plates, how the arms and legs may bend, head shape, eye shape-- you get the idea!

Here are some examples I grabbed from my DAWM pinterest board: Look at the different head shapes, mouth shapes, how fabric my fold near the corners of the mouth to form a smile-- there's a ton of resources to use as reference when designing little Muppety fellas :o) It's also good to consider what kind of puppet they are! Are they a hand-rod puppet like Kermit? Live-hands like Swedish Chef? Or are they a Walk-around puppet like Big Bird?
I think it's important to note that although we may want to incorporate some kind of anatomy here and there, that we try to forgo adding in muscles. It can be difficult when you've been trained to draw muscles on everything (and I struggle this sometimes too!) but for the sake of making these guys fully silly and fully puppety, you must retain the appearance of fabric and not of flesh (unless a flesh puppet is what you desire!).
Attention to details like these will help pull the illusion together! I hope this is helpful!

In case no one told you growing up
Bras last longer if you let them air dry. Don’t put them in the dryer.
If you have a problem with frizzy hair, don’t dry your hair with a towel. It makes the frizzies worse. (I recently read an article that said to use a t-shirt? I brush mine out and let it air dry.)
Whites wash best in hot water. Everything else can be in cold - save on your electricity bill.
You can kill 99.9% of germs in a sponge by putting it in the dishwasher for a cycle or by microwaving it for 2 min (be sure to make the sponge damp before microwaving and to put a cup half full of water in with it and please DO NOT squeeze the sponge until it has cooled off)
Airing out your room/house and letting sunlight in every so often can decrease the number of household pests like silverfish and ants.
Black underwear is best during your period as stains are less likely to be visible.
To save money, put aside 10% of each paycheck into a savings account. It’ll add up.
Unless your hair has something on/in it (like grease or mud or something), using conditioner first can actually be the better choice. The conditioner holds in the good oils that help you hair look sleek and beautiful, which shampoo would otherwise wash away.
Speaking of shampoo - if you have long hair, washing just the bits that touch your scalp is generally enough. The rest of your hair gets cleaned with just the run off from your scalp.
If you put a tampon in and it’s uncomfortable/you can feel it, you didn’t do it quite right. A properly placed tampon is virtually unnoticeable by the wearer.
Apply deodorant/antiperspirant a couple hours in advance of when you need it. This gives the product the chance to block your sweat glands. Using deodorant just before going somewhere where you’ll sweat (this means walking outside for people in high humidity places) results in your sweat washing the deodorant off and starkly limiting its usefulness.
After running the dryer, use the dryer sheet from that load to brush out the lint catch - it gets everything off in a fraction of the time it’ll take you to get it clean with your bare hands. Paper towels also work well.
Wash your face everyday, or as often as possible. Forget which brand of cleanser is best. Just washing your face everyday will guarantee you clearer skin. And do you best not to pop pimples, as tempting as the urge may be.
Fold laundry asap after taking it from the dryer to avoid wrinkles. This may seem obvious for dress shirts and silly for things like t-shirts, but you’ll notice the difference even then once your shirts stop looking like unfolded paper balls.
