I've long left that glee sub because I just couldn't anymore with the stuff being said on there. One thing I've noticed on there is that people forget what time the show aired. Late 2000s until mid 2010s jokes that were made on Glee were peak for the time the show aired. Things change over time which is good but Glee is a product of its time. Sometimes they way they spoke about the show and characters like Santana on there made it seem like this was a show made in 2023. It's odd to me that this person publicly called you out on the sub and shared a private message but they're not banned or told to take it down. That crosses a line for me and is not okay.
I said the same thing in the pm someone just had to share on the subreddit. I knew it was going to be bad but I really underestimated just how bad that subreddit is. They’re not going to drive me away though. When the ban is lifted I’ll just be more careful/calculated about what I post.
The post was taken down, I checked. I assume they were told it wasn’t ok but idk. I messaged one of the mods about it and didn’t get a response.

wow that’s a really weird reason for your comment to be flagged. Genuinely struggling to see the issue with your response. That subreddit is overrun with Rachel stans so not surprised, unfortunately.
I was warned that there were a lot of Rachel stans and they were downvoting a lot of comments but I didn’t think they ran the entire subreddit. They are such hypocrites. The person that made that post about me, replied to one of my comments. They said a lot but one of the things they said was that I threw hissy fits whenever someone didn’t agree with me but they’re throwing the biggest hissy fit by trying to get me banned from the subreddit.

I don’t see how your comment was transphobic or worth a ban tbh. But maybe it’s because you didn’t censor “tranny”? That’s my best guess but idk they could have just given you a warning if that was the case.
Well apparently that comment was the last straw according to the message I received but mods aren’t consistent with enforcing the guidelines. On a post asking what your fav Santana moments were I said one of mine is when she told Rachel to stop acting like she isn’t a selfish, self-centered, lame-ass wannabe diva from hell, that did not get flagged/deleted but when someone used that as an example for why another comment of mine got downvoted, I asked them am I not allowed to say it is one of my favorite Santana moments, but I repeated what she said again, that comment was flagged/deleted. I’m obviously just quoting a tv character.
It really feels like Rachel stans just don’t like me cause they don’t like what I’ve said about her so they’re flagging my comments. If any of them are flagged again I will be permanently banned from the glee subreddit.

Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals, just liking and/or reblogging the post does not help me lol.
Am I transphobic? I posted this comment on Reddit to prove a point. I don’t use this word in everyday use. I didn’t think anything of it using it in this context cause I didn’t think how I used it was discriminatory.
Tumblr media
I got temporarily banned for 14 days because of this. Someone reported this comment and a few others apparently. Because of that I can’t post anything on the glee subreddit, for now. So when I saw a reply to one of my comments obviously I couldn’t reply back so I sent them a pm. Instead of responding to my pm, the person made a post about me calling me transphobic and accused me of harassment. I explained why I sent them a pm but they refuse to respond. This whole Reddit experience went from okay to absolutely terrible.
Edit: This isn’t a hypothetical question. I’m actually questioning if I’m transphobic. I didn’t think I was but now idk.
