a black woman named zoe amira posted a video on youtube. this video is an hour long and filled with art and music from black creators. it has a ton of ads, and in result will rack up a ton of revenue. 100% of the ad revenue from the video will be dispersed between various blm organizations, including bail-out funds for protesters. it will be split between the following, dependent on necessity
- brooklyn bail fund
- minnesota freedom fund
- atlanta action network
- columbus freedom fund
- louisville community bail fund
- chicago bond
- black visions collective
- richmond community bail fund
- the bail project inc
- nw com bail fund
- philadelphia bail fund
- the korchhinski-parquet family gofundme
- george floyd’s family gofundme
- reclaim the block
turn off your adblocker and put the video on repeat. do not skip ads. let it play on loop whether you’re listening or not. mute the tab if you need to focus elsewhere. but let. it. play.
youtube will donate to blm for you.
please, please reblog. for people who don’t have money to spare, this is incredibly important information to have.

hey quick question why are all adult cartoons like that
like why is it that adult cartoons could build upon this beautiful format for storytelling used in children’s cartoons to deliver more complex, powerful narratives and include themes with more depth and comedy that adults can relate to, but instead it means “hey here’s an array of every nasty vile bigoted thing u can think of drawn in the most tedious ugly obnoxious art style” like why did we go so wrong..
Out of curiosity (and wanting to paint my own figures), do you use an airbrush for colouring your figures? The subtle purple on Snatcher looks great, and the colours on the prince (especially the shoulder stripes) are so clean! I tried painting a figure of mine with acrylics and a paintbrush once, but you can just... REALLY obviously see the brush lines (yknow like, each individual hair on the brush is seen texturing my figure when i paint it QwQ)
Both actually! For large surfaces I use an airbrush, like for that Snatcher figure. Though I’m actually quite new to it since I don’t use my airbrush very often. In fact, I only own two airbrush colors (which consist of blue and purple haha..) since they’re pretty expensive. I use acrylic paint for all my other figures too! They do a decent job, are easy to work with and affordable. But I also use Revell colors every now and then, these colors are extra made for model parts and are available in matt, silky matt and glossy. Though, it’s not that easy when it comes to cleaning your brushes after use.
Hmm, maybe you just need better, finer brushes? It’s important to have brushes in many sizes and they also shouldn’t be too roughly bristly. Anyway, hope I could help!
cryin because i want to buy more animal pop vinyls but i really must restrain myself and save money DSKJHDSFJKDF
OH BTW last night i signed a contract to be an animator on an upcoming tv show :D it’s another of those modern remakes of an old classic cartoon, but omg it looks super cute and i’m extremely excited to work on it! also it’ll be extremely awesome to have my name on my very first TV show credit fghfhdfgfhjh
