Seıκı: Republic City has been saved, and Avatar Korra is to thank for it. Yes, it seemed like the end was near when that mecha giant faced the city and began firing away like there was no tomorrow, and it really felt like there was no hope. But Avatar Korra swooped in, and with the help of the Air Nation, Mako and Bolin, Suyin, Lin, Wing and Wei Beifong, Varrick, Zhu Li Moon, Asami, and her father, Hiroshi, took down the mecha giant and Kuvira. And in an effort to stop her, Hiroshi sacrificed his life for the mission, and it was an effort that was not wasted. Because if it wasn't for this sacrifice, it cannot be guaranteed that Kuvira wouldn't have succeeded in reclaiming the Earth Kingdom. However, the mecha giant's demise was not the end. The canon that Kuvira used to cause havoc over the city began firing uncontrollably, and all witnesses, including myself, can whole heartedly say that we didn't know what was going to happen, it was terrifying. But, the outcome of this disaster was surprisingly beautiful... In the heart of Republic City now lies a portal into the spirit world, making it easier for us to visit the Spirit World and for the spirits to come join us here in our world. The portal itself is absolutely beautiful, it is a chartreuse beam that ascends above the city and illuminates the night sky. Wᴇɴ Dɪ: And after all of the scariness finished, Zhu Li Moon and Varrick tied the knot! Finally! Am I right?? I always told you all that I knew there was more to their relationship than the regular assistant and boss dynamic! My goodness Varrick, you've been keeping us on our toes for years! Also, Korra and Asami are officially together, like, relationship together! The two are currently taking a romantic vacation into the Spirit World, which--if you ask me--is well deserved! Today, we are beginning evacuation plans here in the city in case of the event that the Earth Empire attacks Republic City. Kuvira's plans haven't been confirmed as of yet, however there are rumors circulating that she is going to try to reclaim the United Republic as Earth Kingdom territory. A goal that she shares with the late Earth Queen who preceded her. At the moment we are aware that she has in her possession a super weapon, a cannon that uses the spiritual power present in spirit vines as a source of power. Although it's full potential is currently unknown, it is expected that she will use the weapon when she arrives to the city as a means of intimidation and destruction.
