4t2 Glam Bonnet Accessory

This accessory conversion was requested by @coolenasha​. I converted it from the original TS4 version by KeToria here, but it has already been converted as an object here with recolours. The textures I used were from the TS4 version since it was the original, but feel free to recolour the mesh anyway you like

I sized the mesh with the base game afShortSlicked hair to limit hair clipping, and because it looked similar to the TS4 version. The mesh does clip a little on the left ear as shown below:

There are five colours to choose from and the mesh is for women teen-elder.

Default replacement textures for the game's newspaper plus two functional newspaper racks converted from TS4 under the cut.

I've never noticed it but the mesh seems to clip a little from the front when the paper is open (you can see it right above the globe). Annoying.

Your sim will cycle through these two textures when performing the "read" interaction.

I wish I knew that the text would be so readable, I would have put some more thought behind the headlines instead of going for "SKINCARE IS BAD FOR YOU" (?) and "SICK AND TIRED" (to reflect my mood when opening Photoshop for the 17th time on the same day to fix something weird with these textures).

New and clean vs old and dirty textures. I fixed the bottom part after I took these but was too lazy to take new preview pics.

I tried to incorporate some of the feedback I got (darker text, weather map... ish) but I ended up just making them to my own taste. Feel free to modify them however you like though!

I also made two functional newspaper racks for community lots, cloned from this one. I don't think they were ever updated for OFB, sadly, but if anyone knows how to fix them I am definitely going to update these.

The first one is a conversion of this stand by ATS. It comes in the original colors plus a couple I made using my newspaper textures.

The second one is a mesh from TS4 that I edited a little. It comes in its original color plus this one by budgie and a couple I made with my newspaper textures again.

If you look at the bottom of the picture you can see that the newspaper clips a little through the stand if the sim stops to read in front of it. Not something I can change without drastically changing the mesh's shape which is just not something I wanna do, so this will have to do.

Fixing old mediafire links

If you’ve stumbled upon a mediafire link recently which gives you a white page and “File5“ (or just a white page) message, then this is a mini-tutorial on how to fix that :-) I’ll be using simlishcreations’ “Trapping’s Short Spike TS3 to TS2′s download link as an example.

The mediafire link should look something like this:

Notice how there’s a ? between / and cw4cdfjozodd3et? Delete that questionmark and write download/ or file/ (don’t forget to add the / after! Otherwise it won’t work). Now your link should look like this:

I have a small break from work, which obviously resulted in some more Poppet v2 hairs! When @vidcunds released conversion of Simpliciaty Halle with two-tone streaks, I wanted to make it using Poppet’s textures. stardew valley sims 4 generations challenge.

a sims 4 challenge by @chellplays

           this is a twelve generation challenge for all of the marriage candidates from concernedape’s stardew valley.  this challenge is completely base game compatible with optional challenges for dlc. use the tag #svs4 or tag #chellplays if you would like me to see your gameplay.

          usual rules apply, meaning no cheats that give you an unfair advantage. your sims do not have to look or be named after the characters in each generation. do whatever you like!

generation 1: abigail.

    you were raised with humble upbringings. your dad ran a general store, while your mom was best at complaining about your “alternative lifestyle.” you left home looking to start a life free of rules and parents, and with 20 000 simoleons in your pocket, you settled down in a new city.

traits: music lover, loves outdoors, geek (alternatively, cats & dogs dlc: cat lover). aspiration: the curator. career: entertainer, musician branch.

goals:

have one “quirky” trait, appearance-wise (e.g. unnatural hair color).

obtain at least five points in the video game skill. 

complete the frog collection.

have two best friends, and marry one of them.

befriend a ghost. alternatively, with the vampires dlc, befriend a vampire.

cats & dogs dlc: own a cat named david jr.

have at least two children.

generation 2: emily. 

    you’re just working at the bar to make ends meet… but your real passion is tailoring. you make your clothes from scratch.

traits: cheerful, music lover, good (alternatively, get together dlc: dance machine; city living dlc: vegetarian). aspiration: freelance botanist. career: culinary, mixologist branch.

must live in the same house as your sibling.

generation 3: sam.

    you are an outgoing, friendly sim who is brimming with youthful energy. you play guitar and drums, and want to start a band as soon as you have enough songs together. however, you do have a habit of starting ambitious projects and not finishing them.

traits: music lover, outgoing, ambitious. aspiration: musical genius. career: entertainer, musician branch.

must not be the youngest child. live with your younger sibling(s) until they are old enough to move out. have a good relationship with them.

have a strained relationship with your father (if not applicable, with any one parent).

have a job as a part-time retail employee as a teen.

reach the job of the entertainer career.

become best friends with two other entertainers.

generation 4: sebastian.

    you are a rebellious loner who lives in your parents’ basement. you tend to get deeply absorbed in computer games, comic books, and sci-fi novels, and will sometimes spend great lengths of time pursuing these hobbies alone in your room. you can be a bit unfriendly to people you don’t know.

traits: loner, geek, bookworm. aspiration: computer whiz. career: tech guru, either branch.

have a negative relationship with your half-sibling and step-parent.

live in the basement of your parents’ house.

reach at least level 5 of the tech guru career before marriage.

max out the video gaming skill.

reach the top of the tech guru career.

only have one child, with whom you have a strained relationship.

eventually let your relationship with your spouse deteriorate and subsequently get a divorce. 

generation 5: penny.

    you live with your mom in a little trailer. while your mom is out carousing at the bar, you quietly tends to your chores in the dim, stuffy room you are forced to call home. you is shy and modest, without any grand ambitions for life other than settling in and starting a family. she likes to cook (although your skills are questionable) and read books from the local library.

traits: family-oriented, bookworm, neat. aspiration: big happy family (alternatively, parenthood dlc: super parent). career: none.

live with your mother (if not applicable, any one parent), with whom you have a negative relationship.

you must cook for your parent and clean the house every day.

live in a trailer-esque house. you are by no means wealthy.

both you and your parent may not have jobs.

marry the first person you fall in love with.

your spouse is the only one who may bring in any income, while you are a stay at home mom. earning money from writing, etc. is optional.

own a luxury pool at some point in your life.

generation 6: harvey.

    you’re a little old for a bachelor, but you have a kind heart and a respected position in the community. you live in a small apartment, but spend most of your time working. there’s a sense of sadness about you.

traits: genius, foodie, good (alternative, get together dlc: dance machine). aspiration: successful lineage. career: astronaut, space ranger track (alternatively, get to work dlc: doctor).

never date throughout your teens or young adulthood. focus on your career instead. get married only as an adult.

own a coffee machine. drink coffee as much as possible.

go jogging at least three times a week.

set up a reading garden in your backyard.

alternatively, city living dlc: live in an apartment.

have at least two children. having spent most of your life single, you want to have a comfortably sized family asap. 

generation 7: haley.

    being wealthy and popular throughout high school has made you a little conceited and self-centered. you have a tendency to judge people for superficial reasons. but is it too late for you to discover a deeper meaning to life? is there a fun, open-minded young person hidden within that shell?

traits: materialistic, snob, outgoing. aspiration: fabulously wealthy (alternatively, city living dlc: city native). career: none.

become enemies with your sibling(s) as a teenager.

max out the photography skill.

you may only get a career after you are married, and you must follow the same career path as your spouse. they opened your mind and inspired you to have interests beyond shopping.

earn at least three points in charisma, so you may donate to online charities after you are married.

bake a cake for every birthday that comes around.

grow a flower garden.

become friends with your sibling(s) again after you are married.

generation 8: elliot.

   you live alone in a cabin. you are a writer who dreams of one day writing a magnificent novel. you are a sentimental “romantic” with a tendency to go off onto flowery, poetic tangents. when you can afford it, you enjoy a strong beverage at the bar.

traits: romantic, bookworm, loner. aspiration: bestselling author. career: writer, author branch.

live in a cabin-esque house.

obtain at least five points in the piano skill.

own a small garden.

specialize in romance books and poetry. later, you may also specialize in sci fi or mystery novels.

write love emails to your love interest at least once a week.

generation 9: leah.

    you love to spend time outside, foraging for a wild meal or simply enjoying the gifts of the season. you’re a talented artist with a large portfolio of work… yet you’re too nervous to display it to the public.

traits: art lover, loves outdoors, foodie. aspiration: painter extraordinaire. career: none (painter, later on).

date only one person in your young adulthood and have a child with them, but never marry. your partner is unsupportive of your artistic lifestyle and encourages you to “get a real job.” whether you choose to get a traditional career, that is not as a painter, is up to you.

eventually marry the love of your life as an adult: someone who is supportive of your art. if you did choose a career, quit and take up a career as a painter.

traits: lazy, gloomy, mean.  aspiration: master mixologist. career: culinary, mixologist branch.

have a career as a retail worker as a teen.

go to the bar after work every day.

only get married as an adult. 

after marriage, quit your job as a mixologist and choose a different career path. you’ve been encouraged by your spouse to give up alcohol.

after marriage, start a garden. 

have a maximum of two children.

2 Shakesaft Modular Stairs Made Recolorable

I made these for myself way pre-simblr but never uploaded them. I made the log and lakeside stairs recolorable so there isn’t a bunch of redundant meshes and recoloring is easier. The log stairs can now be walked under. Both stairs now cost something, but I don’t remember if I did it myself or it’s from BlueSoup’s upload. Both the scriptorum and mesh files got renamed so replace both if you have them already (otherwise the stairs will be free). I made the remaining textures into recolors. The rest of both sets aren’t included, get them at the booty.

All files are compressed with included half assed swatch for reference and preview.

This is a Google Spreadsheet, set up to act as a calculator for The Sims 2′s chemistry system. To use it just follow the link below, then go to File, and then select Make a Copy. 

Feel free to make variations on this using mine as a base, I would prefer you mention it’s based off this one if you release it. 

(Remember, the blank version starts with a base score of Thirty-Five, this is because the calculator needs to recognise Zero as a value for Personality points)

Feverfew souvenir T-shirts (TS2)

After sending my sims on an impromptu vacation to Criquette’s incredible amazing showstopping spectacular never the same Feverfew I wanted them to bring back souvenirs, and also to pay tribute to the sims community (wow, pompous. But for real, you guys’ creativity is a constant source of inspiration to me 💞). So I recolored itsdiamondeyesuniverse’s conversion of Tryllike’s Answer T-shirts with 7 designs you could potentially find on gift shop wares (inspired by googling “[English town name] tshirt” and the beautiful pictures found in the #Feverfew tag). 

Top | Adult and YA | Male | categorized as Everyday, PJs and Gym

Maxis hands mesh is included (Smooth Hands mesh is available with the itsdiamondeyesuniverse’s upload). There are 14 recolors. You can find the swatch above and in the download — the pictures are in alphabetical order.

I have very vague plans to convert these for other ages and on different meshes, but not in the foreseeable future, so if anyone wants to do that yourself, you’re welcome to it (I’ll even send you the .psd).

Since switching over to @mikexx2​‘s New Hair System, I’ve been missing the huge collection of brows/facial hair that I’m used to having. So, I decided to recolor all the sets I’ve collected over the years! However, there’s so many of them that I’ve decided to share them all in one post, so that I don’t clog up the tags. Makeup Set 2

As promised I’m sharing another makeup set that includes an eyeshadow and a nosemask.

The Asian Style Eyeshadow is a blend of 3 different Ephemera eyeshadows and then I also threw in some eyebags by XOD because I like that lil’ bit of eye fat on this specific eyeshadow. Sims are not wearing any other eye makeup besides this eyeshadow.

The nosemask is called Dusk 6, and it’s a blend of a Mouseyblue Dusk skin and my own Honey Honey skin.

Both come in 14 colors, 10 natural and 4 supernaturals.
