i found this au and binged it and I have two questions:

why on a03 is the story with the au's oneshot's labeled old, and so is arc 1 on the masterpost? are you planning to rewrite/remake them?

given that VonVon can apparently fuse with Pink Steven, we can assume they can fuse with other gems. But what about humans? Could Vonvon fuse with a human?

I really love this au and am thinking very hard on who the enemies could be lol. I vote sneeple

So first off, yes this au is getting an overhaul, mainly figuring out what I want for the plot (for the time being you may see doodles here and there with dadgem and von) . The AO3 fic, timeline concepts, and other comics that were meant to progress any kind of plot are outdated due to that reason.

Second, vonvon can't fuse with gems or humans, I believe what you saw was a concept fusion made for fun, sometimes I like doing that- if for some reason I had stated that von could fuse in older posts, consider that outdated info lol.

And golly gee you did go thru everything, a lot of the old stuff on here is outdated- even all the stuff on that ol' masterpost, it kinda works as an archive now.

Enjoy whatever ya can as I don't expect anything big to happen anytime soon, I wanna get this thing up and running as a story some day- but life is a handful atm, so enjoy the little crumbs as they come.

This was probably asked a lot but I can’t find the answer, does Von Von remember her mom or her papa’s human-half?

Yes they do, the family was all together before things went down, they remember their ma and pa very well. With their parents' sudden departure and their pa coming back from it being very different, it's left them overwhelmed. Remembering how everything was before pains them with how quickly things have changed; something dadgem tries to remedy for them, but will have a difficult time doing so as he too is suffering from this new change.

(You might've come across the old concept where von didn't remember as they were a wee infant when everything happened- this was changed so they are older, and the time it took for dadgem to come back is significantly less)

#it used to be a 10 year wait time between everything happening and dadgem coming back #cuz i was psychotic lmao #over time the duration became less and less until it now at most a couple weeks #cuz i felt really bad for von lol #ask #both von and dadgem try to hide their pain as to not burden the other #though dadgem has more experience in that field so hes better at it haha #plus dadgem knows von well enough to know if smth is bothering them #he might have trouble comforting them tho #its hard for him to smile sometimes
