Im new to Darkest Dungeon, where did everyone get the idea that Tardif bakes from

it's from this irrational bark!

obv the nature of the game means that this doesn't 100% confirm that tardif bakes (irrational barks in particular are always a little suspect), it could mean that he only thinks he'd be good at it.

personally i think it's a cute character detail that suits him <3 patience, attention to detail, and a keen eye are the traits of both a fine baker and a ferocious bounty hunter

I had a tremor and hit the wrong poll option but anyway I personally believe the ancestor 100% fucked up the time line with the Heart of darkness bullshit

oh for sure, canonwise there’s SOME kind of time fuckery going on. the amount varies depending on how you interpret the breadcrumbs the game gives us. anywhere from eternal hell loop to infinite timelines layered on top of each other.

personally i subscribe to The World is Just Like This Theory, because i don’t have the ability or the patience to write or reason through time shenanigans. plus the world-building implications of that are fun to play with

So I have been working for days on exporting all the heroes animations as gifs, made lots of progress already-- only 7 heroes to go, with 3 animations each (idle, walking and combat) so about 21 * 4 skins each... 84 gifs to go... cries. I'm aiming for the enemies next but oh boy. Tired.

Interestingly enough, some of the animations need to be manually fixed, like with Reynauld, we need to replace one of his boots with a copy of the other so he won't look like that ^^^

Here's the correct walk, I still think it looks a bit odd on a second look but that's how it is in game! I just thought the wonky walk was too cute to be scrapped so there you have it!
