for full transparency, i’m also going to be taking a break from posting art on social media this year for personal reasons!! i wrote a little more about it on twitter, but i’ll share it here as well:

before i open my store, i want to let you guys know that i'm going to take a long break from posting art on social media (maybe until the end of the year) you guys have given me so much support and encouragement, and i'll always be so grateful for it - you've motivated me to grow and learn so much! i really did have so much fun sharing my work with you all and crying over dkbkdk haha!!

i feel nervous about leaving, because i've used external validation as a motivator for making art since i was 13 or 14! but i also think that's why i need to take a break and rediscover why i like drawing, and what kind of art i would make if no one cared/i wasn't conscious of how it would be received on social media.

i hope you guys can understand, and i'm really honored that you've cheered me on for so long! if you'd still like to keep in touch or say hi at any time, my dms (and ask box) are open and u can always email me at [email protected] too!! if you have any questions about art or wanna have a chat, i'd be more than happy to answer! thank you!!
