I took the kids to the duck pond after school to feed the fish (cue Matt Smith's Doctor saying "why is it called a duck pond if there aren't any ducks" because there are absolutely no ducks 🤣) In characteristic fashion my oldest refused to take off his coat, hat or even his backpack the whole time even though it was nearly 60 F and sunny) I felt like I took a couple hundred pictures and I only took 60 😭

But at least I got some good ones.

I'm supposed to have all 1000 by Friday but I'll probably want to take someone at my aunts 80th b-day party on Saturday anyway. And the Friday deadline isn't the final deadline for the project as we have the whole next week to finish it.

I try not to post pictures of the kids online but I'll cheat and post a couple where you can't see their faces.

I've been trying to go to bed earlier lately and taking advantage of the trazadone my doctor gave me to help me sleep. I still ended up skipping class this morning to sleep until almost noon... and I'm still tired.

I do think my ADHD meds help with the chronic fatigue of the fibro because I'm always extra tired on the days I don't take it... like today. I slept for 11 hours, I shouldn't be so tired.

Oh well, hopefully the extra sleep will help me stay awake and focus on finishing my paper tonight. I have to turn in the ... rough final draft? by 8am tomorrow. then we are having editing workshop in class and have to turn in the final final draft by midnight. I also have to take about 750 pictures by my class at 11 on Friday. I've decided to completely change my project. I've been thinking about my mom a lot lately with the anniversary of her death and I'm going to call it "letters to my mom" or "a letter to my mom" I'm going to take pictures of things that make me think of her and have the text be like a letter to her. (the only requirement for the project topic is that we have to incorporate text into it.)

I accidentally adopted a Pug/Chihuahua/springer mix so I can't judge. (the rescue called him a border collie and I knew that wasn't right. I figured there was spaniel because "sad eyes" but I did not see the pug/Chihuahua part coming. 😂)

10+ years as a vet tech and I've only meet one full blown male calico.

(I met a couple of cats that had orange on one foot but I suspect them of being chimeras.)

Not my mom telling me at 38 weeks that she had to be treated for premature labor with all five of her pregnancies. 🤣

I definitely would have gone in to the hospital once or twice with my first pregnancy when my "braxton hicks" contractions were suspiciously regular and didn't stop after the recommended time but I kept saying, eh I'll give it another half hour.

they did always stop eventually. 😅

I'm just saying, if there's a curse that runs along your family line and you don't tell your kids about it, how the hell are they supposed to go on a quest to stop it?

I downloaded an eReader with tts for the purposes of reading fanfic and the tts is quite good actually but it pronounces "Chade" as "Chad" and it's cracking me up. 😂

I'm not saying I'm face blind but when I started first grade one of my friends had gotten her haircut over the summer and when the music teacher asked if there was any new kids in the class I pointed her out because I thought that my friend had moved a way and this was some new kid with the same name.
