17. What is something you're confident about in your art?

I think that would be my watercolors!! the color palette so to say, is generally what I picture in my head (as far as the limits of the medium goes). Also I like that in my circles of art friends, that Im usually the only watercoloristttt (makes me feel specialllll)

24. Whats a compliment about your art that has always stuck with you?

Compliments I generally get are very general, like cute/colors/vibes/oh thats watercolor--

wait so mid typing. So at tfconla24, I was drawing lil pencil doodle coms. There was this person who came up, asked if I would just. Doodle them. Supposedly was trying to get such at con coms but no one would do it?

Anyway I did it and after making a lil correction, they smiled and said they were Very Thankful and it meant A Lot You Have No Idea, very much past the verge of tears, and walked away fast out the building.

To this day I dont know what that was about but I remember it a Lot! Ive been told my work, among other things, is very "boringly happy" (as I just draw characters smiling a lot), doesnt say much. But it makes me happy. Even if its in a lil way, I hope the person was able to figure what whatever they were goin through, and I helped just a tiny bit.

Dragon. Because Anything could be a dragon thus really easy to have fun with it :]

Not organized tbh LOL. Not a mess but. Many "untitled" Procreate files, a myriad of papers, action figures, paint brushes, pens, markers, cutting boards, on my desk LOL

35. if you had one piece of advice to give your younger artist self, what would it be?

Genuinely... "Please just go to school and choose a career that is reliable and makes a good pay and thus better life situation, but lends for time to make art. For denying that and choosing a "close enough" option will lead to many moments of heartache and frustration and anger to self."

A bit of a serious response but. In general I don't struggle with ideas, trying new things, etc etc. My main struggles and confidence are due to life circumstances, which makes things hard. It's OK but could be in a better place right now, if I thought a lil wiser. LOL. The March of time goes on, I'll make my way with art. Eventually!

Like the online version of glaze/nightshade requires an account. And last time i checked they arent accepting new accounts because of the high pressure.

Like i make my art on my ipad. My MacBook is from 2014. If i tried to download and run nightshade on my decade old macbook and go throufg 10+ years of artworks i might as well just set it on fire.
