THE END!! I can't believe I finally completed this. When I first started this comic, I had no idea that it would end up being this long. A little over 3 years and over 200 parts, so around 2000 panels. (My folder that holds all my files relating to this comic is 3 GB with 2,017 items....). I honestly can't believe that I managed to stick around to the end of this. Thank you all so much for the support, I never imagined that so many people would care about this comic when I started it!

Of course, there are still some loose threads. The kwamis and Nathalie for example, but the core of this series has always been about the emotional conflict between Marinette and Adrien, and that has been resolved. I have some epilogue ideas to cover those loose ends, but this comic has already taken so much of my time and I'm not sure I want to promise that I'll get around to it. ... But who knows. Maybe!

For now, Adrien and Marinette will get some long-deserved rest.

His deepest, darkest, most closely-held secret wasn’t just that he spent most of life never truly knowing if one of his companions fed him another one of their teammates in order to keep him alive.

It was also that he liked it. A lot.

His relief he felt wasn’t just the “oh thank god I’m not a cannibal” catharsis, it was also that he wouldn’t have to kill and eat another person just to eat this meal again.

How many times do you think he craved it over the years. How haunted was he by this. How hard was it for him to make friendships with other humans because of this. Is this why he was so comfortable living with orcs. He was so isolated that, even living on an island with a decent half-foot population, he didn’t even know what they were.

Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

Oh yes it happens to me sometimes

Right now I have an idea to draw Chimera Falin(from Dungeon Meshi) like these monster anatomy types of illustrations

I tried several times but it's so difficult for me!!

I feel like I can't pull that off with my level of skills yet

But maybe if I'll put more time in it I will eventually draw it but idk...

I'm often drop arts or redo them a million times till I'm satisfied with the result

Sometimes I will take a little break from art or often I'll search for more references

and my stupid stubbornness also plays a role I guess

But if you tired from trying or failures upset you it's better to just leave the idea for the future and try later

You can always draw something else and it's okay

Art should not be a painful process in my opinion

I love that Laios and Marcille are both willing to immediately go off the legal/moral deep end for Falin, no questions asked. Laios doesn't even question Marcille's devotion when he asks her to use black magic, he knows she loves Falin too.

And the best part? That almost sinister level of devotion is returned in both of their directions. (Also, this is just a great Falin image)

"What if I took your hand in mine and told you I'd hurt others to guarantee your safety? And we were both girls?"
