So because I want to keep the Rottmnt tag trending (we are in 8! Bring it back up the list!), I'm posting some of my old TMNT art here!

This was from the @riseofus-zine I was in in 2020-2021, which was really fun and I got to experience what it was like to work either others on a creative project! Everyone was SO nice and honestly I miss it!

Pacora [by @pricklydapper]

Pacora (Cora for short) is a 15-year-old mutant Hawksbill sea turtle from the warm shores of Panama. He was mutated after he had patched up an injured turtle that was brought into the sanctuary he was going into as part of an internship.

Cora is an aspiring biologist and has a fascination for sea life, which makes him excited to be around such fine specimen as the turtle bros, he just can’t help himself to stop asking them questions. He’s pretty unexpressive which can be perceived as boring or absent minded, but he’s mostly lost in his own head thinking about which NatGeo Documentary will be on later

Avery [by CptMop ]

Avery is a somewhat quiet and meek individual. He spent most of his life training as a ninja just like the boys. However unlike them, his training was a lot more strict and harsh leading him to hide a lot of his real personality.

Surprisingly, he has a lot of anxiety and fears but has forced himself to learn how to either hide it or just not show it. This has caused him to come off as really serious, strict, or grumpy. But when he finally starts to open up around the turtles he's actually very caring towards others. After being turned into a shark mutant, he often wears a shirt and coat mainly to hide the giant scar on the side of his abdomen.

Lani Martinez [by Lia]

A 15 year old NYC girl trying to make some money with various jobs to get into the music school of her dreams.

Normally upbreat, kind, curious, and a bit clumsy, she becomes the complete opposite while playing music: Quiet, calm, even serious at times. But she's still a caring girl who's obsessed with spy and action movies—which is the perfect thing to be obsessed with when hanging out with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Claudette & Hume [by Solua]

The story revolves around Claudette, a dorky bookworm, and her trusty compagnion, Hume.

They've been alone ever since they can remember, until the day they found each other, which from then on they were inseperable. Both aren't great at making friends or communicating their thoughts to other people, that being said, it's important you understand that they're prone to get into trouble.

The hidden city is amazing don't get them wrong! However it can be very intense and crazy when given the chance. So, to resovle their issue, Claudette and Hume decided to go live in the human world and learn the human ways of living. Only the outcome was a tad different than they had imagined.

Jimmy Park [by @cancersyndrome​]

James 'Jimmy' Park has been around the block, and country, more than once. Formerly a stunt man and day player actor in Hollywood he got tired of taking hits and moves out to NYC to get into stage acting. Throughout the years he started collecting businesses, something to do in retirement, and has many desperate one offs instead of any cohesive chain. Married, and divorced, with his son out trying his luck in Hollywood Jimmy spends his time floating between which of his enterprises needs an extra hand.

Mona Lisa [by @cancersyndrome​]

Ramona Lisa Trevino, Mona for short, is an A student, and not naturally, she takes every bit of extra credit to keep her competitive and at the top of her classes (getting into a good yokai university is hard these day) and spends her free time trying to bring astrology back into vogue for a people, living underground, who can't even see the stars anymore.

Scarlett Hiroto [by Katrina]

Scarlett is a 16 year old girl who loves cooking, baking, and marital arts. She has been helping her nearly blind adoptive father since she was young run his dojo. She spends most of her free time helping her family (including her little sister Violet) and hanging out with friends. She is the epitome of the "Mom Friend" and will totally fill in any needs for a mother figure. She's sassy and silly. She owns several adorable stuffed animals and loves to play video games. She is the type of person to call at any time you need her and is willing to fight for what's right. She also has telekentic abilities through her alien dna (Changeling: Alient Shapeshifter species) and uses it to increase her regular abilities.

Violet Dawson [by Katrina]

Violet is 14 years old and is a mute due to an injury when she was young. She was adopted at the request of Scarlett and has helped as much as she can. She is spunky and witty, regardless of being silent, and will put any person's facial expressions to shame. Violet is a dancer, specializing in ballet and urban style hip hop. She enjoys learning and helping in different projects as much as she can. While not as skilled as Scarlett, Violet does know how to fight and defend herself with various throwing knives. She also has illusion abilities due to her changeling DNA.

Grand Baroness [by @tench]

Ancient yokai and the mistress of one of the most powerful houses in the Hidden City. Grand Baroness leads secluded life of a shut-in, spending her days in dark rituals and forbidden magic. She lost touch with her family long time ago, but still has a soft spot for her grandson Draxum. She hopes for him to be her successor and the very person who lead their people out of the underground, even if she never hopes to see that day.

Vitaliya [by cookie-brooke]

Vitaliya is the daughter of a Russian mob boss based in New York. After she was mutated, her father made use of her as an executioner. Her power, Midas Kiss, allows her to encase an individual in gold, and after 36 hours, the victim turns solid, permenantly. She has long since freed herself from her father's grasp and runs her own gang in the Hidden City.

Orobora [by cookie-brooke]

Orobora is Vitaliya's right hand, a distant cousin of Bruce of the Masters of Barbarianism.

Kira [by cookie-brooke]

Kira is their adopted daughter, a mutant child found in the swells of Draxum's former lab. She is blind, and lacks control of her power, Kaleidoscope, which allows her to implant visions and illusions in another person's mind and alter their emotional state.

Lych (full name unknown) is your average teen semi-delinquent loitering in alleyways with her friends. After toying around the turtle’s lair (bumping into them while doing research for her group project) and lingering around foot clan whereabouts, she picked up on summoning spells and can make average portals. With those newfound skills, she manages to summon a guandao that everyone assumed to be a decent replica from a local museum, only to find out later that it actually belongs to an ancient Chinese warlord. Sometimes she finds herself tagging along with the turtles on their missions, seeking for adventure and future cryptic stories to tell.

Wysteria [by @inzicoir​]

Wysteria is a spiny turtle mutant who was born into the Battle Nexus and trained to fight as a brute. She’s hot headed and slightly sadistic towards her opponents during fights due to heavily repressing her emotions and receiving constant prejudice about her dangerous exterior. Her battle techniques usually involve body slamming (ouch), crushing the ground and hurling bits of the earth at her opponents and occasionally using a giant axe.

Hanako [by @inzicoir​]

Hanako is a wasp mutant. Before being mutated she was a distant, edgy delinquent at her private school and is the volleyball team leader. She sticks around Repo because she promised to help him out and that she was able handle herself. Taking a chaotic neutral stance, the cast either finds her tagging along or fighting against them.

Amara [by PrussianGator]

Amara is is yokai that looks remarcably similar to a blue pit viper. She lives on the outer rims of the Hidden city, scavenging for anything useful or valuable. Her makeshift home is filled with what could be called junk. Miff's shop is one her favorite places to hang out, seeing as they are one of her few friends.

Miff [by @phoenix4020​]

Miff is just a stressed out vulture yokai trying to stay out of trouble. They've left their previous pirating life behind and now run a little shop down in the hidden city selling a huge variety of mystic items. Need to find a super specific thing? Miff is sure to have it somewhere!

Veronica [by tiffbee]

Here we have a 20 year old Australian sea turtle, who also goes by the name of Veronica. Optimistic, carefree, a bit scatterbrained, but she is wiser than she looks. Prefers hand-to-hand combat in fights but is also seen using a bow and arrow. Once a human, now a mutant, only had been turned when she was 16. Ask her about her scars and she will just laugh and give you a different story for them each time. Hobbies include; the ukelele, the guitar, singing, parkour, to name a few.

Melanie [by Kom]

Melanie is a young girl who used to be human, but after being turned muatant through the bite of an ooze-skito she had to abandon her old life to start a new one. She at first completely hated who had she become, but with time and patience she learned to love her new self and even started to enjoy it more than her old life. The city was now more full of fun opportunities, and started to discover how big and new the world was to her. Now with more adaptation and stability in her life she new she wanted to use her new form so a good cause, and she just wanted to be remembered for something so she became a hero, later through small intereactions with the turtles they became close amd now Melanie is a close friend usually stoping by by their place to say hi and hang out. Sometimes even fight side by side.

Calithea [by @safeblanket]

Calithea is a shy, naive mutated wood turtle. She loves plants and churros and spends most of her time in her rooftop greenhouse.

A turtle hologram working at Cuddle Cakes Puppy Rescue. OLLEE is always willing to help.

Soileil [by @hallyeet]

A yokai under the care of Big Mama. Fun loving and always eager for the new and different, she tends to get herself into trouble with the residents of the Hidden City. When she's not causing chaos with her best friends, Sauce and Misty, she often finds herself in the Battle Nexus for a good fight.

Dot [by Mothuraa]

Dot is a sweet yet sometimes salty teenage mutant...frog? Due to an unfortunate accident, Dot was mutated into a little treefrog gal and ever since she has been spending her days surrounding herself with things that she finds cute and hanging out with the only 4 people who make her feel not so alone, the infamous teenage mutant ninja turtles.

Coen is a snarky yokai with dangerous ties who found himself tied up with his newfound family.

Luke [by @cryoptically​]

Luke is a tough-skinned yokai, who has always been taking care of his 12 other siblings his whole life but when his parents let him to take over the family diner he finally found freedom. and when a particularly interesting yokai shows up he finally finds someone worth spending that freedom with.

Pierre [by @stereomime]

Pierre is a mutated common musk turtle. They have creamish-white streaks on their limbs and face, dark grey skin, a greenish shell (due to natural filth, otherwise a rich brown) and yellow eyes & fangs. Pierre wears a pair of baggy pants (most likely stolen) held up by a sling tied around the back of their shell.

C / Charley [by Goblin]

You ever met the sentient equivelant to a firework? Well, you have now! C is far from chill, all she wants to do is bounce around, scream and eat! This chaotic dragon... thing.. will keep you on your toes whether you wanna be there or not- but be warned, as friendly as she seems, things can turn sour in the blink of an eye if you threaten harm upon her friends... because they're all she’s got.

Mozzart [by TaggZ ]

Mo, a leatherback sea turtle who has mutated in his aquarium in sea world, while big, has a heart of a child. Watching old disney movies and shows. He dosen't know his own strength, so sometimes a coward, but for his family, everything.

Remy [by  Tenkosaur’s ]

A young, spunky, clumsy yokai, with a love for adventure and electricity—Remy always brings the good vibes wherever she goes. When she's not bouncing around the hidden city, she's in new york having fun with her best friend April O'Neil.

Renet Tiley (Ren) [by @artofziizu​]

Renet is a 14 year old student who goes to April and Sunita's school. Posssesing the powers of a crystal that can shapeshift into objects, allows her to dimension hop, open portals and use time and space to her advantage. A bit of a loner due to her bouncy and weird personality, she is a fantasy and sci-fi nerd who loves to put her idea's into her art. She meets April and Sunita while running late to class, in which she bumps into them and they begin talking after, becoming her first highschool friends. A few months later, while looking for a job, April suggests her a job at a newly opened museum nearby. After being tricked and having a run in with the Foot recruits at her job interview, April and the Turtles come to save her.  After she uses her crystal to defeat the Foot Recruits, she decides to keep the crystal. After being saved, she continues to hang out with April, Sunita andthe turtle brothers, going on adventures with them to the mystic world and learning about her new powers. She is best friends with Leo and Mikey, her gaining a crush on Leo and Mikey secretly having a crush on her.

Ezra O’ Neil [by turtsydoodle]

A love of 60s rock music and a talent for tennis, Ocean City, Maryland native Ezra O' Neil is ready for fun whether it requires them to whack someone over the head with a tennis racket or teach April and Donnie how to backspin! Ezra is a sociable, outgoing, people person but curious to a fault and more often then not ends up sticking their nose where it doesn't belong resulting in accidentally meeting the turtles + Splinter and Draxum after curiosity got the better of them

A gremlin mutant turtle with a love of sweets and a penchant for hacking and understanding technology. They are hot-headed vigilante that will do about anything for a pastry.

Quantum (Q) [by rowesroses]

Friendly, protective, and from another dimension entirely, Q is a mutant sea turtle from a dark world ruled by an evil Baron Draxum. Sent to stop the terrible future, they arrive at a world entirely different from their own.

Lumikki (Lumi) [by rowesroses​]

A young prince half-yokai, half-human with ice magic, Lumi was donated to the foot clan as a young child. However, despite being part of an evil clan, they are kind, excitable, happy-go-lucky individual that just want to make friend.

Dex [by rowesroses​]

A half-giant, half-human that worked with the criminal underground in the Mystic City for a long time and previously worked with the Foot Clan. Now he spends his time working with the Mystic City to help the community he once worked against.

Daisuke [by @sirwolficus​]

Daisuke is the eldest of a family consisting of three siblings, trying to reach their dreams in the mystic city. Daisuke and Kojibe are biological wolf/deer yokai siblings, though Daisuke is much shorter than Kojibe (by a foot or so). He spends his time working at his forge, creating mystic enchanted weapons for sale for collectors and fighters alike. He also spends some of his time as support for a certain Hidden City vigilante who may or may not be his dumbass younger sibling. He's just trying to get food on the table, a trust fund for his siblings, and sleep. Maybe. Hopefully.

Kojibe [by @sirwolficus​]

Kojibe is the middle child (formerly youngest) of the family. They're biologically related to Daisuke and the one who initially met Ezume. They have a passion for cooking with a mixture of mystic and human ingredients, but are also dedicated to helping others when they can. This somehow translated into illegal vigilante work, which involves the typical physical fights but also some detective work that, in the end, REALLY eats into their college time. They're currently trying to study cooking and work part-time as a waiter.

Ezume [by @sirwolficus​]

Ezume is the youngest of the trio, adopted only a couple of years ago. He's a young kappa yokai who only has vague memories of his past, and he's completely fine with not looking deeper into the reason why he was left on the streets of the Hidden City. He currently just goes to school, tries to make friends, and explores the waterways and other off-limits areas of the city. And sometimes he likes to sneak out to get a look at his favourite superhero whom he's dubbed "the dark angel".

Vincent [by @ackachoo​]

Vinny is a mean red mutated red eared slider turtle, he lived most of his life on the streets until he found his family. A band of yokai and mutants who have questionable morals but love eachother very much

Maria [by Oliver_lime]

A mushroom yokai that lives in the hidden city, they sell old mystic poitions and hand made poitions too! They don't speak often and when they do it's whispers, they're very shy and reserved and hold their allies and friends dear to their heart.

Raymond [by Oliver_lime]

A mutant frog that also lives in the hidden city! Raymond had nothing when he was a human and when he got mutated he moved over to the hidden city, starting a new life that he loves so much more but sometimes he arises to visit New York City just to see the old live he sometimes misses. Raymond is pretty spunky, he appritiates the zazz of life and love shiny things.

Filippo is a competitive kid who really, really has no idea what's going on most of the time but would never let that stop him.   

Emerald [by @lemonsqueazie​]

Emerald is the unlucky passerby who tends to get caught up in too many villain plans. Fortunately for her, with her friends having her back, she'll get luckier in no time!
