I love this because it's super typical of magic fans' immediate reactions. The full set has not been revealed so like, blanket statements about the set contents don't make sense, but also...there are minotaur cards revealed. Just factually untrue.
I think recent emotional turmoils I've had outside of work has been feeling like I am or want to be or should be better friends with people than I actually am and I feel pangs in the gaps.
And I think part of that is how much my life has become just work and recovering from work so I am not enjoying life on my own. So I feel jealousy and envy and resentment instead of just making different friends or doing things I love.
It's pathological how I wrote 25+ pages plus appendices of transition documentation while knowing none of them are going to read all this. But I'm also proud of when people tell me how helpful my emails are, and I do still want the work to be done well, so I put time in these and they are cross-referenced (linking the relevant documents). The document on the right is a breakdown of every six months of a program.
It is also a fuck you to the CEO who made us attend an attention to detail training like the problem isn't her inability to plan ahead and a fuck you to my manager who has held up a bunch of processes for me.
Every time I'm busy all the theaters are playing those made up artsy movies that insecure people talk about to make fun of "film snobs" that just end up sounding really cool and whenever I'm free it's all shit like a Winnie the Pooh Slasher Movie and a Goonies reboot
a single movie can come out where the female lead doesnt have unambiguously wholesome motives and every single person on social media has to be like okay women? i'm not sure if you get this but murder is BAD? the character who killed someone... that was a BAD THING, you shouldn't kill people, murder and cults aren't good? okay thanks, my feeble mind was confusing fiction and reality again so this really helped
On sites like Tumblr, people feel compelled to have dumb opinions on issues that don't need them to weigh in at all, but that is fathoms better than on LinkedIn where McDonald's partnering with Krispy Kreme means way too many people making posts talking about business implications and marketing strategies.
