Reblogging since it's cherry blossom season!
Looking for new ways to display your collection of enamel pins? I present to you: themed cross stitch backgrounds! This is my first completed design, a gold dessert stand surrounded by cherry blossoms.
I bought quite a few cute pins and have been trying to figure out how to display them for the past while. Cross stitch is a great solution to this since it is pretty thick and durable when completed, and can handle holes being poked into it.
I do have a few other ideas in mind, and will probably release more cross stitch patterns later this year. Feel free to comment with any other background themes you would like to see!
———-
If you want to get this pattern, you can buy it from my Ko-fi shop! The link is in the pinned (first) post.
The pins are not designed by me, the artists I purchased from are listed below. Go check out their shops!
Bunny roll cake: MelodicMisa
Sakura donut: Donatsuya
Bingsu: Pete Ellison
Sakura bubble tea: Mochiville
Red velvet macaron: Kawaiiboku
Mew roll cake: Atelier Eumori

Koi Pond.
Part of the not-that-secret larger project I'm working on this year (it's a calendar). If you've been following along, Falling Snow was for January, Nighttime Stroll was for February, and this one is for March.
I'm also continuing my habit of endlessly tweaking the Flow/Koi Pond concept. I definitely wanted to include this in the calendar since it's one of my strongest pieces, but also wanted to add the pink lotus flowers back in.

I didn't make as much art in 2023 since I have a full time job at an animation studio. Half of it is cross-stitch backgrounds though! (Pins are not by me, please see those posts for the pin artists.) I realized that I absolutely love cross-stitch, and will design more themed pin backgrounds in the future.
I also tabled at 7 markets this year, which is a big step forward for me since I am pretty shy and nervous, and am a terrible salesperson. I do almost no marketing or promo, so the art is doing ALL the heavy lifting.
I rarely take selfies so this is a webcam pic from 5 minutes ago, and is an accurate portrayal of what I look like at google meet work meetings, and what I look like while drawing.
In 2024, I hope to table at a few art markets, and will also be working on a series of illustrations for a project to be revealed at the end of the year. Thank you all, and I'm looking forward to sharing more art with you soon!

Hi everyone! INPRNT is having their End of Year Sale, and all of my art is 10% off. I've added my two newest pieces, Camouflage and Deep Sea, to the lineup. I've also made several more product options available in addition to art prints: canvas prints, acrylic prints, metal prints, and art cards (which can function as 5x7 mini prints). If you were thinking of getting my art in any of those formats, feel free to take a look! Link is in the pinned (first) post.
I'm planning on a series of illustrations for a larger project this coming year, starting with my previous post, Falling Snow. I will be posting a preview/teaser once a month, with the full reveal of the project at the end of 2024.
Thank you for all your support so far, and I look forward to sharing more art with you soon!

Bringing this back for Halloween! The piece that started me on the path to my current art style, and still my favourite and most successful tessellation that I've made.
Since it’s spooky month, here is a tessellation of Mismagius, Yamask, and Duskull!

When I started this illustration, I always had the idea to get the squids printed out in silver foil and I'm glad the details turned out well!
