Thanks for the tag @nerdartsy 💕
Our music tastes are pretty different, so it was fun to see what everyone listens to. I also don't normally listen to single artists or bands, just random songs I like, but I think this came out as a pretty accurate representation of my musical taste:

July 2, 2021 | Friday
It’s been a while since I’ve posted but I took a break and literally did nothing except watching shows, aka only Criminal Minds and The Mysterious Benedict Society. Plus, it’s been too hot to do anything. But yesterday I decided to begin reading again and started ‘To The Lighthouse’ and I like it so far.
I hope you are all enjoying your break as well. Remember to sleep and to stay hydrated 🤍✨

A colorful and bright plant theme 🌿✨🌺 Again I’m using a four color palette because idk four colors sound just right, especially for simple doodles such as these. And as usual the tombow hard tip for drawing. I like playing with the variations of line thickness when drawing florals which is probably why it’s one of my go to pens for inking.

💚 for the books colour
the posthumous memoirs of bras cubas
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sorry for the delay answering this ask, it was kind of hard to find a good green book lol. This is my friend's version and the book is really good, although it might be hard to find in some places. I wanted something a little more mainstream but really couldn't find. It's basically a recollection of the main character's life, his regrets and thoughts. He is extremely unlikeable, but it's kind of the point of the book, he tells his story by his cynical, kind of narcissistic worldview.

1- What are your plans for this summer
read a couple of books (not a lot, just enough so I don't stay on my phone all day everyday)
Start reading "Der Klein Prinz" as a way to improve my German
Spend time with my friends and family (and my cats)
2- specific goal for the summer?
Not really, other than the goals I mentioned.
3- Do you have a lot of work to do for university this summer?
No, finally! I'm really glad to say that, most of the content I'll be posting will probably be more focused on journaling, reading, etc. Which are more like hobbies to me

It’s here y’all!!! The 2021 Summer Studying Challenge!
I’ve literally been planning on doing this since my last summer challenge so i’m so happy to finally have it out in the world and i can’t wait to see what everyone posts and discover some amazing new studyblrs! i am genuinely so excited to get back to posting consistently and finally having the time to engage with you all after my exams so please get involved and give it ago!
so without further ado, here’s all you need to know:
✨Info ✨
If you do the challenge, use the tag #summer studying challenge so i (and others) can see your posts
I will try to reblog as many posts in the tag as possible (and it doesn’t matter if you think they aren’t ‘aesthetic’ cause i will reblog them!)

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an ask!

Ok, but why is Marianne just one of the most annoying people I've seen in a book in some time???
I really hope she gets better with time because it's getting hard to root for her ngl

Just bought this and it's probably one of the cutest books I owe. This is a pretty famous title, but I was never that drown to it until I saw this version, the pastel blue and yellow look so good! I'm really motivated to finish this and it will be the first logged it into my book journal

Just the best way to learn philosophy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is going to be a really random post, but I just really needed to put this out there:
I'm going to start having ethics classes in college next semester, and that reminded me of how I own my life to this podcast called "philosophise this!". I watched it for free on an app called Stitcher and it literally got me trough 3 years of philosophy back in school.
I just wanted to recommend this to anyone that also struggles with philosophy, sociology, etc. Because it's a really interesting subject, but can be easily ruined because it's that type of thing where you misunderstand one simple concept and then everything after that just doesn't seem to make sense.
This podcast is really awesome, and honestly interesting even if you don't need to study something specifically for school.

I got my first ever Spanish book!
Tumblr media
I’m three chapters in and here’s how I’m using it to help my vocabulary:
Tumblr media
underlining words there and here…
Tumblr media
and also highlighting! I decided at the end of chapter 1 I would use highlighting for sentences I am unsure of instead, and put signaling things under, around, or above words. As well as translations (in my native tongue or explaining it in Spanish)
At first I was hesitant since I grew up with readers who told me to never write in books and I always thought books were special. So in that, I used to always think that it would be damaging it. However I thought I’d do this anyway since I’ll see how far I’ve come :) I wouldn’t do this for other books though! Just ones in a different language to help me grow.
