hi lovelies! i’ve been dying to make a writeblr for eons and i’m finally knuckling down and getting to it. my name is 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞, i’m 18 and use she/ her pronouns ( ˊᵕˋ )♡.°⑅

i tend to write 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧/ 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 things but i’m currently working on retelling the stories of women in greek mythology in a more introspective narrative for my university coursework. hysterical, misunderstood women might be my weakness, who can say.

outside of academia my ongoing 𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐬 include:

༝ 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 (a very makeshift working title) about three siblings caught in a very ugly web of family mysteries following the murder of their parents

༝ 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛 (again, working title) about four young adults looking after a house in the countryside for the summer. some weird witchy things occur and it’s gay, that’s all.

i really enjoy reading about anything set in the countryside and/ or in big old houses — throw in some dark academia, mystery and sibling drama and you’ve got me. i would absolutely love to read literally anything other people post but 𝐢’𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐛𝐥𝐫𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲/ 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫/ 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

i’m rambling BUT to leave you with a few final things — i’m currently reading homer’s iliad and the collector by john fowles. spotify said i’m in the top 1% of people who listen to the lumineers and my love language is w.b. yeats. 𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 and reading their work & having an incentive to share mine, give this a <3 if you’d like me to check out your blog ! ꒰˘̩̩̩⌣˘̩̩̩๑꒱♡
