Ask memes.

This is a bigger issue than people think. I know people make tons of them, all the way down to RP prompts, questions, drabbles, all that jazz. But this sort of thing needs to be recognized and needs to be addressed:

If someone is reblogging millions upon millions of ask memes, you should do that person a favor and try to at least send a couple or so asks.

The reason why is because many people on this site want to feel wanted. They want to feel loved and they like the attention, but perhaps it’s just the way I feel about it. Even so, it goes a long way if you send someone an ask. I’ve seen many of my favorite RP blogs get close to shutting down because no one took the time to send at least one ask to that person and it’s sad. People reblog literally PAGES of ask memes and no one sends them anything.

So, please, just try to care for your fellow partner and send an ask. You never know when their blog might break because of it.

You want more angst?? Rex is super touch starved but there's the unfortunate side effect of being manhandled by his enemies as a form of torture that means he doesn't react well at affection or physical touch in general, especially involving an emotional shut down or flinching (yes I am self projecting with these reactions), and considering how conflicted he is about Maximus, an ex-villainous emperor, this is definitely a part of it :))))

That's one reason he debates that they were meant to pursue each other just as enemies because with that dynamic in play concerning his enemies, something would feel very wrong to relive that and accidentally romanticise the feelings when enemies do that to him, even though Max means it in the nicest possible way :))))

I know the whole idea of Rex being genuinely oblivious when it comes to pining but there's also the whole thing of him pretending to be oblivious because he feels he can't commit and doesn't want to let Max down. He's pretending a lot because he's used to it but after all the stuff he's used to, it takes closeness and the accidental brushing of Max's arm or hand against him to have a real overwhelming effect on his psyche

“They’re burnt out. The controls are wrecked. I can’t get them back online.“

“Burnt out?” Rex asked, sounding more confused but still had concern in his voice. He wasn’t at all familiar with the technology on the other Rex’s ship, but he knew his usual reaction to new stuff like this. “Is there a back-up involved? I know it’s not the same but I have emergency controls in my car as well as autopilot if any of the main controls don’t work - but I don’t know how your ship works.” 

He paused, briefly looking over the damaged controls over his glasses before turning to the other Rex with general composure, but more concern in his features. “Are we in any immediate danger?”
