Thank youuu❤️❤️❤️
A Little Push
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: All you and Peter need is a little push to get you on the right track.
Warnings: Maybe one baddish word?
A/N: for @thollandlover
Tumblr media
"I'm going to try to ask him out today," you state. Peter Parker sat a few tables away with Ned and MJ. You couldn't help the rush of adoration you felt as he animatedly spoke to Ned about something. The two of you have talked countless times, but the way his face lights up with his hands flying everywhere never failed to put a smile on your face.
Your friends, Bailey and Daniel, absent-mindedly nod their heads as they pick at their lunches. The food wasn't that bad, but you had other things to worry about, like how you would build up the nerve to approach Peter.
"You said that yesterday," Cindy sighed as she pushed her lunch away. Gwen quickly nods in agreement.
"And last week."
"There was also that time you-" Harry begins, but you quickly interrupt him before he says anything you might regret.
"I know, but I'm really going to do it this time." Your friends look skeptical at you while you fold your hand in your lap at the realization that this may be your last chance before the summer break. Finals have already started, and the last day of school is on Friday. You sneak a glance at Peter, only to quickly turn away as you found that he was already staring in your direction.
"Do you think he saw that?" Your eyes widen as you look at your friends who are trying to cover up their amusement.
"Judging by the fact that he looks like a tomato, I'd say yes," Harry laughs. A slight blush creeps up your cheeks as you think of what to do about it.
"I think I should go talk to him," you finally tell them as you rub your hands on your thighs in an attempt to feel less nervous. You stand up, but Harry grabs your arm before you make it very far, prompting you to look at him.
"Remember, direct eye contact is a form of dominance," He states dramatically. "Show him you mean business."
"I'm trying to ask him out, not scare him away," you huff and Harry rolls his eyes at you.
"I'm just trying to give you some advice," he snarks before patting you on the head. "You do you."
"Okay. I'm going to go now," you state confidently, but you don't move an inch. "Can you come with me?"
"No." Harry sighed when he noticed your pout before saying, "Those people are selling popsicles, and I want one."
"Alright," you mumble. "I've got this."
You turn away from your friends and begin to walk towards Peter's table. Halfway through, you turn to look towards your friends, but they all pretended not to have noticed you.
"Hey, Y/N," MJ says. "We missed you on the trip."
One thing is for sure, and that is that you might never have developed feelings for Peter if it weren't for your friendship with MJ. Often, she'd invite you to hang out with her, Peter, and Ned, which led to you and Peter finding out that you had a few things in common. Then, somewhere along the line, you began to see Peter in a new light.
"My cousin was getting married, and, I guess it was kind of lucky, you know, with the whole Mysterio thing going on."
"Yeah," she sighed, obviously not wanting to talk about what when down during their trip.
"Peter-" You start, but Peter cuts you off.
"Y/N-" The two of you look at each other, and you try hard not to let that damn flush crept up your face again. Awkwardly, Peter continues, "I was wondering-I was wondering if maybe you- do you-Maybe you should go first."
You mentally curse yourself for thinking that this was a good idea. In all honesty, you never really thought you'd make it this far.
"Um... Peter, I wanted to ask if..." You pause, realizing you have no idea what you're saying. "The theater is showing Return of the Jedi on Friday."
"Yeah, I think they are," Peter states. You try to keep your face neutral as you realize that he misunderstood you. "If you're not sure, I can check their website if you want."
"What I mean is- Do you plan on going?" You ask, having a hard time keeping your voice level as well.
"Ned and I were going to see it, but you can come to if you want." Peter's whole face lit up, but you're sure that it had more to do with the fact that you were talking about Star Wars than the idea of you joining him... and Ned.
"Uh.. actually, my cousin is getting married on Friday, and I have to be there, you know," Ned blurted. For some reason, MJ looked amused while Peter furrowed his eyebrows.
"I thought your cousin was already-" It hit you that Ned probably knew why you were here.
"I don't want to intrude," You state, realizing that Peter might not want to be alone in a theater with you. If it was obvious to Ned that you like Peter, then it was obvious to Peter too.
"No, it's okay." Peter quickly insisted. "You could never intrude."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, unless you don't want to go."
"I do." 'It's just that..."
"For goodness sake!" MJ cried. She shoved your head toward Peter's while Ned did the same to Peter towards you. It took you a second to realize that your lips were literally touching Peter's, and you immediately pulled away.
"I'm so sorry!" Your eyes had widened in horror. What would he think of you now?!
"I didn't mean to do that." Peter stammered, "Ned- He pushed my head, and- I mean, It-It wasn't that bad. Right?"
"Peter-" Did he just say it wasn't that bad?
"Oh, god. You thought it was bad, didn't you?" Peter jumped to his feet and began pacing with his head in his hands. "That's not how it was supposed to happen."
"Peter, I thought-" You began, but he cut you off again.
"I had a plan, and now I ruined everything-"
You bit your lip nervously as you realize what you're about to do, but it's the only way you could think of to get his attention. You rise to your feet and pull Peter's lips back to yours. This kiss was better than the last, and it was nice that Peter seemed to melt into it. After a second, you pulled away to look at Peter.
"I thought it was nice," you murmured. Peter's eyes were wide, but he seemed to nod in agreement.
"You- You did?" He stuttered.
"Yeah. I came over here to ask if you wanted to see Star Wars with me." As you explain, a look of realization seemed to wash over him. "You know, on- on a date."
"A date? With me? You and me?"
"Yes?" You ask, suddenly becoming unsure.
"I'd love to go on a date with you," Peter beams, and you couldn't help but smile too.
"Not bad, Y/N. Not bad at all," Harry Osborn clapped from the other side of the cafeteria. You and Peter seemed to both realize everyone was watching you. "I told you the eye contact thing works."

Dusk Till Dawn - Part 9
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: Tony reveals who Y/N's real dad is and Y/N confronts her family.
Warnings: Swearing, violence, angst, maybe some cringiness???
A/N: Although @annies-marvel-imagines will no longer be posting more parts, she will still receive credit.
Tumblr media
"Can someone please explain what just happened?" Clint asks as he sits against the wall of their cell. He flicks a piece of lint from his sleeve before looking at the others for answers.
"I'm sorry. Did you miss the part where Y/N kicked our asses?" Tony backtalks. It's evident he takes your betrayal extremely personally, more so than anyone else.
"No, I think I was taking my afternoon nap," Clint deadpans. "What I don't understand is why."
"This is all my fault," Peter sighs. His shoulders slump and the regret is clear as day. "If I hadn't let my guard down at the dance-"
Everyone in the cell groaned in exasperation. Peter and Tony hadn't stopped blaming themselves the entire time, and it was shattering the morale of everyone there as though their spirits weren't already broken.
"Now's not the time to be playing the blame game," Nat discusses. "We need to figure out a way out of here."
"We wouldn't be in this mess if Y/N hadn't stabbed us all in the back," Bucky mumbles under his breath. He knew that you were a good fighter, considering he and Nat were the ones who trained you. He just never imagined that you'd turn on him and everyone else.
"No," Steve responds. "Y/N wouldn't betray us if she didn't have a good reason. He had to have forced her or something."
"Sorry to break it to you," Ezekiel chuckles as he approaches the cell with you and Eloise by his side, "but I didn't force Y/N to do shit. Isn't that right, sweetheart."
"Yeah, dad," you reply. Peter seems to be the only one to notice how uncomfortable you were to call that man your dad.
"Dad?" Tony quotes. His face turns beet red, and, for a split second, you were afraid that a vein would pop. He stares at Ezekiel angrily before responding, "You-"
Before Tony could finish his sentence, Ezekiel pressed a button, causing a soundproof metal barrier to surround the cell.
"Don't worry about them, Y/N." Ezekiel laughed, beginning to walk away. "They'll get what they deserve soon enough."
"With our sponsor ready to move to phase two, we'll be unstoppable," Eloise added. You refrained from becoming visibly alarmed at the mention of a sponsor. It made sense that that would have explained how they could get a hold of such advanced technology.
"Your sponsor?" You questioned, trying not to seem too interested.
"It's nothing you need to concern yourself with," Ezekiel mutters, ignoring you in favor of questioning Eloise. "Has the shipment arrived?"
"Most of it," She states. They continue walking ahead of you, leaving you to wonder what the heck you've gotten yourself into.
-----------------------------
"Tony, is that true?" Rhodey asks. "Is that asshole Y/N's real dad?"
"You're kidding me, right?" Tony retorts. "Of course, that's not Y/N's real dad."
"Then who is he?" Steve questions, unaware of how Tony has been avoiding making eye contact with him.
"His name is Ezekiel Stane. His dad was my business partner until he betrayed me." Everyone nods their head, beginning to understand what was going on.
"And now he's using Y/n to get revenge," Steve finished. "Who is Y/N's real dad?"
Everyone looks at Tony expectantly. They're both eager to find out who your real dad is and curious as to why it is such a heavily guarded secret. Whoever it is, it can't be worse than the guy who is actively manipulating you as an act of revenge. When Tony fails to answer, Bruce speaks up.
"Dammit, Tony, this is important information," he exclaims, throwing his hands in the air.
"Banner is right," Steve declares, causing Tony to lose it.
"Fine! You want to know who her real dad is? It's you!"Silence engulfs the cell as everyone is too shocked to quickly process what Tony revealed.
"Is this a joke to you?" Steve's brows knitted in confusion and anger as he stared at Tony. Yet, the fear and bitterness that burned in his eyes told the truth. "I can't be Y/N's dad. It's impossible."
"You want to know how it's possible? Ask Fury," Tony seethed. He couldn't meet anyone's eyes, but he knew what they were all thinking.
"Fury knew?" Nat asks quietly, not ready to believe that Fury would keep something this important, something this profound, about you from her.
"Dammit, Tony. You had no right to keep this a secret," Steve yells as he begins to pace. The more he thinks about it, the more you look like someone from his past, someone he thought would be his future before he went in the ice.
"Didn't I?" Tony challenges. "Y/N is still my daughter."
"Now's not the time to fight about this," Nat mutters, still processing the information. "Y/N still thinks that that guy is her dad, and we need to find a way out of here."
"I don't think that Y/N thinks that guy is her dad," Peter pipes up. "You saw how uncomfortable she got when she called him 'dad', and I have a gut feeling that she's still on our side."
"I don't trust your spider-tingle, or whatever you call it. It's been wrong before," Bucky scowls, remembering one of the few times he remembers Peter's gut feeling had led them all into a few unpleasant situations.
"But I don't think it's wrong this time. I have faith in Y/N," Peter states confidently.
"I hate to say it, but the kid is right. Y/N is our only hope of getting out of here."
------------------------
"Would you fucking quit it? You're giving me a headache," Eloise fusses. At this moment, you'd give anything to shut her up. You came here to think, but all you could think about was how her constant bickering was distracting you. "You're not having second thoughts, are you?"
The two of you were in what Ezekiel called the "weapon room ." Although there wasn't a weapon in sight, you had a feeling that they were still in the piles of unopened metal crates that were stacked around the room.
"They're the Avengers," You tell her. "Aren't you worried they'd escape?"
In reality, you were more worried about helping them escape. You'd be lying if you said that you thought this out entirely through. You should have realized before you put your friends and family in a cell that you'd need to know how to get them out of it.
"Unlike you, I have faith in the cell Zeke created. There's no way they can escape without the remote," Eloise glares at you from where she sat. The dislike she had for you was more evident than ever, but you didn't have it in you to be sad about it. The sweet girl you became friends with months ago never existed.
"What remote?" You ask. Her eyes narrowed at you as though she were scanning you for any signs of betrayal.
"Like I'd tell you," she huffs angrily as she rises to her feet. Either way, learning about the remote gave you a new plan. "Unlike Zeke, I don't trust you for a second. Not when we've got your slimy boyfriend in a cage."
"He's not my boyfriend." The words, despite their truth, burned your mouth. Peter wasn't your boyfriend, but that didn't mean you didn't want him to be.
"Sure." The second she turns around to leave, you notice something peaking out of her pocket. This could be the remote, you thought. Then again, what if it isn't. Either way, you weren't going to pass up the chance in case it is.
"Eloise." She turns toward you, but before she could react, your fist collides with her jaw, causing her to collapse on one of the crates. You check to make sure that she stayed out cold before grabbing the remote.
You couldn't help the rush of anticipation as you make your way towards the cell. You weren't sure what you were going to say to them or if they were even going to hear you out, but you had to try.
"Okay," you mutter as you stand in front of the cell. You stare at the remote in your hand, and you click on the button that you hope would open it. Abruptly, the cell seems to unlock before a door popped open. Inside stood the shocked faces of your family, who you double-crossed.
"You guys probably hate my guts, but trust me when I say I had a good reason," you stated as you stared at their faces which were a mixture of anger, disappointment, and relief.
"Care to explain?" Nat crosses her arms dauntingly, prompting you to lower your head in guilt.
"Well..." You began, fiddling with your sleeve. "I'll start by saying that I made a mistake by trusting Eloise and Ezekiel."
"You think?" Bucky scoffed. You couldn't help the shame that washed over you at the sight of the disappointed looks etched on the faces of your two mentors. You knew it would take a lot to earn back their trust, but you hoped that this was a start.
"But when I realized that Ezekiel wasn't my real dad, I had to play along," you explain. You look up at everyone and hope that they'd understand. "I think that they're planning something big."
"Answer this. Did you start playing along before or after you kidnapped all of us?" Nat questioned. The look on her face is unreadable, which slightly unsettled you.
"It was the night of the dance," you confirm. You felt bad about ditching Peter that night. It wasn't until afterward that you remembered that Peter didn't like Gwen. Instead, he chose you. You just had to go and mess it up by choosing Eloise. "They started talking nonsense about Tony attacking them and how they needed to destroy the Avengers, so I played along to find out what their endgame was."
You subtly wince at the way Tony's face fell when you used his name, regret washing over you immediately. For all you knew, Tony is your real dad, and the file that Hydra had on you was one big lie.
"What do you think they're planning?" Peter asks. You meet his eyes for the first time and answer honestly.
"I'm not sure, but Eloise said something about their sponsor being ready to move on to the next phase." You let the severity of the situation soak before continuing. "They've already received truckloads of metal crates just like the one we got from that Hydra base weeks ago."
"The one with the red wax stamp?" Nat asks, meaning she remembered.
"Exactly."
"So, do you have a plan?" Sam asks, getting up from the floor.
"Yeah." A small smile made its way to your face as you look at your family. "I have a plan."

When You’re Feeling Down
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: Peter knows just what to do to make you feel better.
Warnings:None
A/N: for @brina-chaska
Tumblr media
A sudden knock on the door caused you to sigh. Every single one of the Avengers had already tried getting you out of your room except one. You don't need spidey-senses to know who was at the door this time.
"I'm coming!" You dragged your feet out of bed and shuffled to the door.
When you opened it, you weren't surprised to see Peter standing there. He always seemed to know when you're feeling down, which you couldn't tell if it was due to his spidey-senses or the fact that the two of you have been best friends for years.
"Hi, Y/N." Peter awkwardly waved a hand as you gestured for him to come in. "How are you feeling?"
"Like shit." You dragged your feet back to your bed and fell back onto your fluff of pillows. It didn't take long to get comfortable again, but Peter had other plans.
"Mr Stark said you weren't feeling well," Peter explained. He couldn't help but fiddle with the straps on his backpack as he watched a sour expression fall on your face.
"I'm fine, and you can tell that to anyone else who thinks otherwise."
"Y/N," he groaned, exasperatedly, as he walked over and sat on the edge of your bed, his backpack falling to the floor with a soft thud.
"I know," you sigh. "I know they're worried about me, but I can't help it. I feel like a mess."
Earlier, Tony had tried everything to get you out of your room and out of bed. Nat and Wanda tried convincing you to have a girl's day with them. Thor offered to let you borrow his hammer for a day, whether you could lift it or not. Steve gave you a big speech about self-care and responsibility while Sam and Bucky kept interrupting him by attempting to bribe you with Cap's shield. Clint said he had an idea before leaving, and now Peter's here.
"I know something that can help," Peter hummed. You'd heard that line countless times today, but you figured you see what Peter would do.
"Does it involve chocolate?" You joked. Peter rolled his eyes and grabbed both of your hands to make you sit up.
"Well, it would involve getting out of bed." Upon seeing your pout, he retaliated by making puppy dog eyes. "Please."
In your defence, you doubt that even Sam and Bucky could say no to that face. You changed into fresher clothes before you and Peter entered the kitchen. You weren't exactly sure what you wanted to make yet, so you grabbed as many baking ingredients as possible.
"Cookies?" asked. You were just grabbing as many baking ingredients as you could think of, but cookies sound pretty good at the moment.
"Yeah," you shrug your shoulders before getting to work. The only problem was the silence that was making you uncomfortable. Peter was too busy measuring the ingredients to notice, so you decided to break the silence."I'm going to put on some music."
"Oh, did you hear that Ned got a cat?" Peter suddenly said in a burst of excitement. He proceeded to tell you about the cat, whose name is Salem, and you couldn't help but gush at the thought that Peter suggested the name because he knew you'd appreciate it.
After a while, the cookie dough didn't look right. It was smoother and wouldn't roll into a ball as it should. Instead, it just made a mess of your hands.
"Don't worry; I know what I'm doing," Peter reassured as he evened the dough into a glass pan. "I used to have these all the time when I was a kid."
"You still are a kid."
"But- But- I'm Spider-Man," Peter whined as a cute pout made its way to his face. You refrained from laughing at how cute he looked. You just didn't feel that much like laughing today. "What are you thinking about?"
"It's nothing," you tell him as you put the pan in the oven. You set the timer for twenty-five minutes then proceeded to stand awkwardly next to the stove. It wasn't that you didn't want to talk to Peter. You just couldn't think of anything to say, and now your bed was starting to seem inviting at the moment. Before you could make an excuse to go back to your room, your playlist had other plans.
You couldn't stop yourself from cracking a smile as the next song came on. Peter's eyes lit up as soon as he heard the familiar piano tune begin to play, and you knew he was thinking the same thing. Now, who was going to break first?
"We're breaking free!"
"We're soaring!" Peter sang, using a wooden spoon as a microphone. You laughed and grabbed the whisk to use as yours.
"Flying!"
"There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach!"
"If we're trying!"
"Yeah, we're breaking free!!!"
You and Peter continued to sing as he took your hand and spun you around. Neither of you seemed to notice the Avengers watching the two of you sing and dance around the kitchen. It was safe to say that you felt a lot better than when you woke up that morning.

Dusk Till Dawn - Part 8
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: You play double agent while the Avengers search for you.
Warnings: more swearing than usual, angst, violence
A/N: @annies-marvel-imagines will no longer be posting more parts, but she will still receive credit.
Tumblr media
You paced around Ezekiel's secret hideout and realized several things. The first thing is that there was no way that these two individuals managed to get their hands on such high-level tech by themselves. The second was that Ezekiel obviously lied about being your dad. The third was that Ezekiel most definitely had enough money to get a less crappy apartment. The fourth and most crucial thing you realized was that you'd have to play along with their plan longer than you wanted to.
Judging by the number of meals you've gotten, you'd guess you've been there for three days. It was hard to pretend that you wanted to wipe out the Avengers, but you had to remind yourself that this was just another mission. Except, you didn't have your suit or any means of contacting your team. Plus, the Avengers had no idea where you were, what you were doing, or what you were trying to do. You were on your own.
"Don't just stand there, you spoiled brat. Help us out," Eloise yelled at you.
Another thing that made it hard to act like you were on their side was the constant feeling of wanting to strange Eloise every time she opened her mouth. She honestly reminded you of a penny. Two-faced and not worth much.
"What the hell is this thing?" you ask as you approach the strange metal box that Eloise and Ezekiel had struggled to get out of Ezekiel's truck.
"You like it?" he asks, causing you to furrow your eyebrows. Was this guy serious?
"Did your ears suddenly stop working, or are you just that bad at listening to someone else's shit for once?" You say without thinking. The strange looks from them tell you that it was the wrong thing to say, so you backtrack. "Sorry, I'm still a little nervous about all this."
"It's fine," Ezekiel mutters, coughing awkwardly before becoming grave. "As long as you do your job, you have nothing to worry about."
"What's that supposed to mean?" You ask, suddenly becoming defensive.
"This is your new suit." Eloise snarks, clearly trying to get everyone's attention back onto the metal box. She pressed a button, causing it to open.
Inside was a suit that looked similar to your dad's iron suit, but instead of red and gold, it was black and purple.
"Why does it look like that?" You ask. Why would they base the suit off of Iron Man's suit if they hate his guts?
"We figured you'd like an upgrade," Ezekiel beamed proudly. You're assuming that he was the one who built it, but you weren't ready to jump to conclusions. The guy already had trouble figuring out how to open the microwave. "Your old suit seemed..."
"weak," Eloise rolled her eyes as she finished his sentence.
"It was flexible and bulletproof," you defended. The suit you always wore worked well for years. Who do these people think they are? "I made it with my d- with Tony Stark."
"That explains a lot." She crosses her arms as she stares down at you with a judgmental glare. "Trust me. If you're going up against the Avengers, you're going to want to wear this. It'll protect you better than that flimsy piece of shit you always wore before."
"Fine," you mumbled, remembering that it is in your best interest to pretend that you agree with them.
--------------------
Peter felt like he was drowning.
He'd never gone this long without knowing if you were okay or not, and it was killing him. Without you, his Peter-Tingle, or Spidey-Senses as you called it, felt like a timer he couldn't shut off. He wasn't sure if it had to do with the fact that he was worried out of his mind or if it meant that you were in danger. Maybe both?
What was worse was that he had to pretend everything was okay. Happy was in the hospital, you were missing, and the Avengers were moving heaven and Earth to find you, but he couldn't join them. May and the Avengers insisted that he let the "adults" handle this. Did it ever occur to them that you matter to him just as much, if not more?
"Hey, Pete?" Ned and the rest of your friends approached him hesitantly. They all worried about you, but they knew that it was harder on him. "Is there any update on Y/N?"
"Not yet." Peter would have known if there was even a slight update. "Have any of you heard anything?"
"Gwen feels guilty about what happened at homecoming," Harley states ."She says that if she hadn't spilled her drink on Y/N, she never would have left the gym."
They all look to where Gwen was standing with her friends. She didn't look happy. In fact, she looked like she hadn't slept since word got out that you were missing.
"She should feel guilty." Peter huffs, "If she got over her damn pettiness long enough to realize that I love Y/N, I never would have lost her."
"Still... she said she'd back off," Harry says, feeling uncomfortable with the current subject. There is no excuse for what Gwen did, but she did look like she had learned her lesson.
"We want to help," Betty admitted, causing a bit of hope to fill Peter's mind. So far, all he's heard was "let the adults handle this". Knowing that his friends want to help find you was like a breath of fresh air.
"Yeah. It doesn't feel right to sit back and do nothing when Y/N is who knows where," Harry sighs, patting Peter on the back.
"Thanks, guys," Peter replies, smiling for the first time since you've disappeared. "That means-"
Before he could finish, he turned around, and not a second later, an explosion went off right across from the school.
"What the f-"
----------------
"I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that you never told us that Y/N was adopted," Clint says as he paces back and forth in the compound. He didn't have the slightest idea that anything was going on until he received a call telling him that you were missing and that help was needed tracking you down.
"He had his reasons; now are you going to focus more on that or finding Y/N?" Pepper replied, defending Tony. Although she agrees that Tony should have told you, she knows that he had his reasons.
"Maybe she doesn't want to be found?" Clint asks, although the second it came out of his mouth, he knew it sounded stupid.
"No," Steve says, his arms crossed in concentration. "I've known Y/N for a long time, and she's a good kid. She's going through stuff right now, but she'd never run away or leave Happy alone while he's in the hospital. Something else is going on, and I'd bet it had to do with those two."
The TV displayed everything they knew so far. The two likely suspects were none other than Eloise Day and Ezekiel Stane. Security footage showed you getting into Eloise's car, which was later found outside a shambly apartment building. After further inspection, your phone was found inside of the apartment belonging to Ezekiel Stane.
"Agreed". Tony stared at the screen, trying to figure out if there is anything he's missing. He knows that Ezekiel is the son of his old business partner. Tony knows that Eloise was a new student who gained your trust. What he didn't realize was their connection and what their goal is.
"If-When we find her, you need to tell her the truth," Steve tells him.
"Yeah, we'll go out for cheeseburgers and laugh about it. Am I right?" Tony snaps. It was clear that he knew who your real father is and that you might already know him too. "I- I don't want her to hate me when I tell her."
"Trust me. Y/N will understand if your heart was in the right place," Steve encourages, placing a hand on Tony's shoulder. For a second, Tony's shoulders slump before his resold seems to harden.
"Her real dad is-"
"I think you'll be able to tell her yourself," Nat speaks urgently. "Y/N's been spotted in Queens."
"Let's suit up."
-------------------
You couldn't help but feel as though your plan was about to fail. Eloise and Ezekiel have recently kept a closer eye on you than usual, which isn't good. You have a feeling that they're on to you, which means that you might have to improvise.
"Play along," Ezekiel mutters in your ear before roughly grabbing your arm. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Eloise pointing some blaster at you that looks too much like the one that Hydra dude shot you with.
Before you can ask what he was doing, a familiar figure swung in front of you.
"Let her go," Peter demands. Although you cannot see his face, you can tell he's angry. You felt bad for putting him through this, but in the long run, you'll have to put him through it a little longer.
"Fat chance, you spider freak!" Eloise roars, suddenly pointing the blaster at Peter.
"Wait-" You yell, but your voice is drowned out by Ezekiel's yells as Eloise pulls the trigger.
It was like everything was happening in slow motion. You wanted to scream for Peter, but the shot never made it to its target. Instead, it met with a familiar red, white, and blue shield.
"Whatever happened to my signal?!" Ezekiel yelled at Eloise, who rolled her eyes for the one-hundred-millionth time that day.
"I'm not letting you crap on my chance again, old man!" She barks at him as she continues firing the blaster. By now, all of the Avengers seem to have shown up, and her target was everyone.
"Don't you d-" He yells, but she ignores him.
Cursing, he tries to pull you away from the fight as he tries to think of a new plan. You already knew what needed to happen, but you weren't sure if you were ready to see everyone's faces when you are forced to betray them.
"So is this a thing now? Kidnapping my daughter for revenge or something?" your dad asks as he lands in front of you and Ezekiel, ready to fight.
"Who said I kidnapped her?" Ezekiel smirks. You wanted to wipe the arrogance off his face, but you couldn't. You had a job to do.
"Dammit," You curse. You press the button on your bracelet that morphed into your "new" suit. You didn't want to see the looks everyone will give you, so as you took down the people you call your family, you couldn't look them in the eye.

Tony paces around his lab, clearly thinking hard. Lately, that was where he spent most of his time. Currently, He was working on an upgrade for your suit. Usually, he'd have finished the upgrade weeks ago, but for some reason, it is never good enough, and he inevitably ends up scrapping it and starting over.
"Tony, you've been working for hours," Pepper says as she steps into the room. "Vision ordered pizza."
"I'm not hungry," he mumbles without looking up. This time, he was sure that he'd be able to finish the upgrade. Then, he'd be able to move on to upgrading Peter's suit, then his own.
"You've been saying that a lot lately." Pepper sighs as she walks up to him and places a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Does this have anything to do with Y/N?"
"You mean my daughter who hates me?" He mutters under his breath, but she heard it nonetheless.
"She doesn't hate you. She's just going through a tough time." Pepper was a teenager once, and she'd had times where her relationship with her parents wasn't perfect, despite them wanting the best for her. All she needed was time, and maybe you do too.
"Pep, she can barely look at me." In all his years of raising you, Tony had never thought that your relationship with him would ever become what it is now. "Did I do something wrong?"
Pepper didn't exactly know what to say to that. She didn't think that Tony did anything wrong, yet how could she make him see that?
"Come and eat. Maybe we can all talk about it downstairs," Pepper finally said as she leads Tony to where everyone else was waiting.
-----------------------
"Happy?"
Harley was currently poking Happy with a selfie stick he had found under someone's car in an attempt to wake him up. Unfortunately, it wasn't working, and Peter was starting to lose it.
"Dude, he's out cold," Harry groaned in annoyance that Harley actually thought that poking him could possibly wake him up. Harley rolled his eyes as he stood up, leaving the selfie stick next to Happy's motionless body.
Meanwhile, MJ was becoming fed up with Peter's constant pacing. She, and the rest of their friends, could clearly see that he was starting to lose his mind with worry, which was the least helpful thing at the moment.
"Sit down," MJ said to him in hopes that he'd calm down enough to think clearly. None of them could really be in the right state of mind while their superhuman friend was in panic mode.
"I can't-" He argued, and both Harry and Ned had to sit him down on a nearby bench. He seemed calmer, but not by much.
"Peter, just think for a second. Something isn't right," Ned exclaimed. It was pretty evident that something bigger was going on than just you going missing and Happy being knocked out.
"Yeah." Harley agrees, nodding his head while deep in thought, "Y/N goes missing, and Happy is out for the count."
"So someone took her?" Betty asks. Everyone was thinking it, but she was the first to say it aloud. It was scaring them how real this was starting to feel.
"Eloise," Peter huffed angrily. He should have known that she'd ruin everything, yet he allowed himself to let his guard down.
"Pete, Ellie didn't take Y/N," MJ sighed.
"Then who else could have?" He yelled. He was sick and tired of everyone seeing Eloise as an innocent misguided girl when in reality, she was the devil in disguise."I have told you guys since she moved here that she is bad news, but nobody listened! Now Y/N is gone, Happy is hurt, and I'm never going to see the love of my life again and-"
"Why would Eloise take Y/N?" Harley asked, not disagreeing with Peter though not wholly convinced. "What use would she have with her?"
"That's what I'm going to find out?"Peter stated as he stood up, his friends following close.
"You can't do that by yourself," MJ stated.
"I'll call Mr.Stark." ------------------------- "I dunno. It seems pretty clear that Y/N can't stand to be in the same room as him," Bucky stated bluntly, causing Steve to give him a light slap on the head.
"Buck," Steve scolded, but Bucky wasn't the only one who thought so.
"He has a point," Sam chimed in, although not wanting to be hit on the head like Bucky.
"Hey." Nat chastised. She's seen first-hand how much Tony cares about you. "It's pretty clear that Tony cares about Y/N. She is his daughter, after all."
"Does Y/N have a diary?" Rhodey asked, causing Pepper to glare at him.
"You're not going to read Y/N's diary," She states firmly. You deserve better than that. "That is a breach of privacy."
"So she has one?" Rhodey asks but quickly quiets down as soon as he sees the glare Pepper sends his way.
"Hey, it might give a reason for why she's so distant," Bucky mutters to the group, which provides mixed reactions. Few nod their heads in agreement, while few shake their head. Either way, they all have one thing in common, which is your best interests at heart.
"It might also give her a reason to distance herself even more. We want to gain her trust, not break it," Pepper argues sternly. She looks at Tony for backup, but one look at him tells that he is desperate for things to go back to the way they were.
"I'm gonna look," He finally says while getting up. Pepper gives him an incredulous look, so he continues, "Guys, this has gone too far. Whatever is wrong with Y/n has put her in danger. If Peter hadn't sensed that something was wrong, Y/N could be dead right now. I'm going to look."
For the past two weeks, he couldn't stop thinking about what could've happened at the bank. You could have died if Peter hadn't shown up. He was worried beyond belief that you'd not only die but die hating him.
"We all care about Y/N," Steve said, bringing some relief to Tony that at least someone was on his side. "She's a good kid, and as much as I disagree with invading her privacy, I do care about her safety. I think that any information could help. We need to get to the bottom of this."
Sighing, Pepper realized that maybe Tony and Steve were right. Something was going on with you, and she worried that it might get worse if something wasn't done soon.
"Well, I think it has something to do with that friend Y/N has been hanging out with," Bruce notes, causing everyone else to mumble words of agreement. Y/N hadn't started acting out until that troublemaker showed up.
"Agreed," Wanda said. "Nothing but trouble."
Everybody hesitantly makes their way into your room, and Nat's eyes immediately land on two flash drives, a red and a blue one,  next to your computer.
"Maybe these could be something?" She says, plugging the red flash drive into your computer. Suddenly, everything made sense. The flash drive was full of files about you that belonged to Hydra. It had almost everything to know about you, but the most concerning one shocked everyone.
"She knows I'm not her real dad," Tony sighs. Everybody, except for Pepper, seemed to be speechless. None of them woke up in the morning knowing that they'd find out that you weren't really Tony's daughter, much less discover that you had HYDRA files on your computer.
"What do you mean you're not her real dad?" Bucky asks, just as confused as everyone else.
"And you never thought to tell Y/N yourself?" Steve interjects sternly. This was something you had a right to know. Obviously, you'd get upset from finding out from someone else."Do you know who her real parents are?"
"That's not important," Tony snaps, causing Steve's blood pressure to rise. It seemed important enough to you for you to start shutting everyone out.  It's no wonder you couldn't trust anyone.
"It sounds like it is," He says coldly.
Before Tony could argue further, his phone started ringing. Judging from the ringtone, he could tell it was Peter, so he answered it quickly.
"What-?" Tony's exasperated voice was cut off by Peter's panicked rambling.
"Mr.Stark, Y/N's gone, and Happy is unconscious in the parking lot."
Everybody froze as soon as they realized what Peter was saying. Something had happened to you, and that was more important than finding out that Tony wasn't your biological dad.
"What?! What happened?"
"I don't know! She said she was going to the bathroom, and she never came back, and now Happy is lying unconscious in the middle of the parking lot, and I don't know what to do!"'
By now, everyone was panicking. This was definitely a million times worse than the bank incident because nobody knows where you are, who you're with, or what you're doing.
"Okay, just stay there. Someone will come to get you."
---------------
"Are you going to tell me what the emergency is?" You ask Ellie as she drives you towards the city. You didn't need super senses like Peter to know that this was beyond suspicious. It wasn't sitting well with you at all.
"Your dad is hurt," she muttered, but you heard her nonetheless.
"My dad?" Worry began to flow through you until you remembered that Ellie had no way to know something like that.  "How? He was at the compound-"
"Your real dad," she agitatedly reminded you as she rolled her eyes. It made your blood boil how rude she was being. This wasn't like her at all, and you couldn't help but want to get as far away as possible.
The rest of the car ride was silent until you arrived at Ezekiel's apartment. It didn't look any better than when you were last there. In fact, it looked more run-down than it was before.
The moment Ellie pulled out a key to unlock the apartment, your suspicion grew tenfold. Why would she have access to his apartment?
"What happened?" You sighed as you both entered the apartment to find Ezekiel sitting on the recliner with a bloodied rag pressed to his side. It looked like he had the injury, but the pain didn't seem as apparent as it should. Your "dad" wasn't any better than she was, but that didn't mean that you let him get hurt. Still, he gave you the same weird vibes that Ellie did.
"Tony Stark happened," he barked. He suddenly stood up and began going through his drawers and sloppily throwing. "We need to get somewhere safe."
"Not until one of you tells me what the hell is going on," You say. Things were going so well until Ellie showed up. Now you have a headache and a possibly massive problem in the form of two suspicious individuals.
"Stark found out that you've been meeting with me," he explained, but you weren't buying it. The only people who knew were You, him, and Ellie. You even made sure that you weren't being followed.
"How?" You ask, crossing your arms, waiting for a good enough response.
"I don't know, but he showed up at my apartment and beat the living hell out of me," He retorted, his face scrunching up in anger.
You look at Ellie, who is standing by the door. To anyone else, it seems like she's just standing there, but you've had enough training from Nat and Bucky to know when someone is blocking an exit.
"I don't believe this." You mutter to yourself.
"You think I just happened to end up like this?" Ezekiel yells. You couldn't believe that you were stupid enough to fall for this. Their constant push for you to turn your back on your family was a huge red flag that you ignored. Not to mention you haven't forgotten that time that Ezekiel forgot your mom's name.
"What do you need my help with?" You ask, realizing that the only way out of this is to play along.
"I need you to help me destroy the Avengers."

Moral of the Story
Peter Parker x Stark!Reader
Requested by @itspetitfantomestuff: There's this amazing song called "Moral of the Story" by Ashe ft. Niall Horan, and in one of Niall's lines he says "Talking with your father he said that you could be mine" which gave me huge PeterXStark!Reader vibes, i was wondering if i can request an angsty story with Peter Parker and Stark!Reader based in that song pretty please?🥺❤️
Warnings: Angst, swearing, unhealthy relationship, the song made me cry 😢
Tumblr media
So I never really knew you God, I really tried to Blindsided, addicted Thought we could really do this But really, I was foolish Hindsight, it's obvious
Peter Parker was a shoulder to cry on after your father sacrificed himself to save half the population. Neither of you had been particularly close to one another. You both went to different schools, had other friends, but you did have one thing in common. You were both mourning your dad.
"How are you feeling?" Peter asked as he sat down next to you on the dock at your father's eco-compound. The funeral had just officially ended, and the majority of guests were staying for the "reception."
"Numb," you mutter to him, not wanting to raise your voice in fear that he'd be able to hear how much pain you were really in. "You?"
Instead of answering, he began to tear up. In all the times you've interacted with him, he was always cheerful and happy to help anybody who needed it. For some reason, seeing him like this simply added to your pain.
"None of this should have happened," he finally exclaimed. He let his head fall into his hands, and you resisted the urge to hug him. You didn't have that kind of relationship with him. "If I'd been stronger, I could've-"
"You couldn't. He cared about you too, you know," you cut him off. You instantly looked away from him, not wanting him to see the tears welling up in your eyes from your sorrow and embarrassment that he heard the crack in your voice. "He did this for all of us."
"I know. I just wish I could've done something. It's not fair," He croaked. This time, you let yourself place your hand on his.
"Nothing ever is."
Talking with my lawyer She said, "Where'd you find this guy?" I said, "Young people fall in love With the wrong people sometimes"
You could still remember the way his lips felt against yours as he kissed you for the first time that night. You both needed something to cling to, so you clung to each other in hopes that you both could dull the pain at least a bit. By the end of the summer, you were dating, but it felt more like coping.
You still wonder if it was compassion that led to that kiss or if it was just the fact that nobody understood your grief better than each other. Either way, you couldn't bring yourself to regret it as much as you feel you should. You couldn't get yourself to care that it didn't feel like love.
Some mistakes get made That's alright, that's okay You can think that you're in love When you're really just in pain Some mistakes get made That's alright, that's okay In the end, it's better for me That's the moral of the story, babe
"I'm sorry, it just reminded me of him too much," Peter cried into your shoulder as he recounted what had happened. Apparently, he was going through some old photographs when he came across one of him as a child wearing an Iron Man mask. Your dad had been his hero, his idol.
"I know what you mean," you tell him, resisting the urge to cry yourself. You'd think that after a few months that it'd have gotten better. "It's like, no matter where I go, there's always something that reminds me of him. I don't know how to stop it."
This time, Peter was the one to comfort you. He knew that he'd been conflicted on whether or not this could be called love, or if it was even close, but he felt a need to tell you the one thing that kept playing in his mind at this moment,
"I love you."
"I love you too."
It's funny how a memory Turns into a bad dream And running wild turns volatile It's not funny how it changes Ended up like strangers We burned down our paper house
Peter couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't what love was supposed to feel like. Compared to other happy couples, the way that the two of you "love" each other didn't seem right. You were a shoulder to cry on, but he doesn't remember a single time since the two of you had gotten together that either of you had a memorably happy moment together.
Every single day, he worries that you'll realize this and end things with him. To everybody else, this probably doesn't seem like the kind of thing that is meant to last, yet he hopes to god that it does. He wants things to get better because, at one point, he believed that he really did love you.
Talking with your father He said that you could be mine But some people fall in love With the wrong people sometimes
Mr.Stark was well aware of Peter's growing crush on you. Although he had mixed feelings about you dating a superhero, he felt as though Peter would do right by you if only you weren't so oblivious.
"M-Mr. Stark!" It was funny to Tony how flustered Peter got after being caught staring at you as you work on some new tech with Harley Keener, one of your friends.
"Parker, you do realize that if you talk to her, you might actually have a shot," your dad stated, hoping that Peter wouldn't chicken out like last time. It was funny, but your happiness was more important than his entertainment.
"I wasn't-"
"Please, I've known about your little crush on her since the moment you met," Your dad sighs as he thinks about what to say next. He wanted to help Peter, but he didn't want to be too involved. "Look, I know I'm her father, and I'm supposed to scare boys off instead of encouraging them, but I figured I'd let you know that there's a ninety-three percent chance that she won't turn you down."
"I- You- she- she likes me?" Peter stutters at his idol, hoping that this wasn't some lie to get him to man up. He wanted you to actually like him before he asks you out. What Peter hadn't counted on was his feelings for you changing by the time he actually did.
They say it's better to have loved and lost Then never to have loved at all That could be a load of shit But I just need to tell you all
"I know things haven't been ideal between us, but you do mean a lot to me," Peter stated. The two of you were visiting your dad's old cabin for the weekend in a desperate attempt to grow closer to one another since you both started college.
"You mean a lot to me too," You sigh as you look out towards the lake. You began thinking about how you and Peter had sat in this exact spot as you comforted each other after your dad's funeral. "You've been there for me in ways nobody ever has."
"I thought that- I don't want to lose what we have," Peter didn't know why he thought that this was a good idea. Neither of you seemed happy together, yet you both cling to your failing relationship like your lives depend on it. "If- If you continue to have me, will you- maybe, marry me?"
"Yes." That was the answer that Peter had dreaded, yet he pulled you into a passionate kiss anyway.
Some mistakes get made That's alright, that's okay You can think that you're in love When you're really just engaged Some mistakes get made That's alright, that's okay In the end, it's better for me That's the moral of the story
You saw the way that he looked at her. It left a strange ache in your heart and pain that he'd never looked at you that way. Although another part of you felt relieved, you didn't feel ready to say goodbye. You were just starting to feel as though things were getting better. Like the two of you were getting better.
Michelle Jones wasn't broken like you were. She didn't need time, effort, or comfort. Maybe that was why Peter seemed to like her so much. Perhaps that was why you made up your mind on what you needed to do.
When Peter came home from college for the day, you ended your engagement. You were doing this for him, after all. He deserved to be happy. You'd move into the compound; he could keep the apartment and everything in there.
"I'm sorry," he muttered, not being able to look you in the eyes. He thought that this was what he wanted, but he felt a hollowness in his heart as you said those words.
"I'm sorry too."

Peter stands outside the door of the tower. He is dressed in the same suit he wore the previous school year since neither he nor May saw any point in letting a good suit go to waste. In his right hand, he held the corsage. With his other hand, he prepares to knock, but Pepper opens it before he has the chance.
"Hey, um..." he says, awkwardly holding up the corsage that is meant for you. Pepper smiles understandingly at him before opening the door wider.
"Peter, come in," she kindly says. Peter offers her a grateful smile as he steps inside. However, it quickly turns into a look of amazement as he sees you.
Peter should be used to seeing you all dressed up. He's seen it a million times before, yet somehow this time seemed different. He's seen you dressed up for missions, charity events, and all those school dances where you weren't his date. But, this time, you were, and he wanted to make the most of it.
"You look beautiful," Peter says before he catches the way Sam and Bucky are smirking at him.
"You too," you say. "I mean, you look handsome. Not beautiful. I mean you do-"
"I'm sure he gets it," Pepper tells you with an amused smile on her face. "You look great, Y/N/N."
"Thanks. Not so bad yourself," you say. Pepper laughs softly, and that was when Peter noticed that the rest of your friends were already there. So much for showing up early.
"After homecoming, do you guys want to come over for movie night?" Ned asks. It's been too long since the last time you all had a movie night. It was fun, and you got to see one of your favorite movies. Plus, you also got to sit next to Peter, and you learned about an inevitable crush two of your friends had on each other.
"We're soaring!" you sang, mainly aimed at Peter. He understood what you meant and instantly joined in.
"Flying!" He sang back.
Your friends watched, both amused and slightly annoyed. Thanks to the two of you, they can all say that they've seen High School Musical way too many times, as though they thought there was such a thing.
"No! We say that move last time!" Harry whined.
"I think we should watch Harry Potter." You suggested. "Since Harry hasn't seen it yet."
"You-" Harry begins but is quickly interrupted by Betty.
"I knew there was a reason we were friends!" She quickly hugs you before going back to stand next to Ned.
At Homecoming, you noticed the way that Gwen looked at Peter. How could you not? She was so blatantly checking him out, and you couldn't decide whether you wanted to scoff or ignore it.
"Do you- maybe- dance?" Peter asked nervously as he scratched the back of his head. It was cute how nervous he was, so you took your hand in his and led him to the dance floor.
Back when you and Peter frequently trained together, Natasha once said that watching you spar was like watching the two of you dance. You both moved together so fluidly that it was almost elegant. You hoped that actually dancing would be the same.
What you hadn't counted on was Peter being a nervous wreck about it. The two of you gently swayed, and you couldn't help but admire the way his cheeks seemed to heat up from having his hands on your waist.
"Pete?" You whisper. He hesitantly meets your eyes, and you can feet yourself begin to blush under his soft gaze.
"Hmm?"
"You don't have to be nervous," you say. "Do you remember what Nat said the last time we trained together? Maybe more like that, but instead of fighting, we're dance. We're still partners, even out here." Peter nods his head before he gracefully spins you around and dips you.
"Like that?" His gaze hardens, but you can still see a hint of something in his eyes that leaves you speechless. All you can do is nod your head before you both move steady and gracefully to the music.
Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Gwen scowling in your direction, but you couldn't bring yourself to care. You were the one Peter was dancing with. Not her. You could also see Flash's shocked face as Peter spun you beautifully. You were willing to bet that Flash didn't know how well Peter could dance.
Eventually, the song came to an end. You and Peter were no longer dancing, but his arms were still wrapped tightly around you. You could finally put a name to the look in his eyes whenever he looked at you.
You both began to lean in. Peter's lips were so close, but the moment was ruined when you both felt someone bump into you. Not a second later, you feel something wet spill across your dress.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, guys!" Gwen says as she looks at you and Peter innocently. Peter may not think anything of it, but you can see right through her facade. She likes Peter, and she sees you as a threat. You can just tell by the way her apologetic smile fails to match her amused eyes.
"It's okay," Peter says awkwardly. You both take a tentative step away from each other as Peter nervously scratches the back of his neck.
Gwen smiles sweetly at him, and you're tempted to snatch the drink of the person standing next to you and ruin her dress with it. You know that you have no reason to be jealous. If Peter really wanted to go with Gwen, he wouldn't have asked you to go with him. Right?
"I'm so sorry about your dress, Y/N," Gwen says to you. "On the bright side, at least you never have to wear it again." Although she said it so innocently, you know what she really meant.
"Wow, thanks a lot." You say sarcastically before turning to Peter. "I'll be right back."
Peter looks like he is about to say something but decides against it. You hand him your purse, and he silently takes in, nodding his head. You walk out of the gym and make your way to the restroom.
You're not entirely sure if putting water on the stain is going to do anything, but you're going to try. As you dab a wet paper towel on it, you sigh. You never liked Gwen, but this is low, even for her. As your about to add more water, you hear the restroom door open.
"Y/N-" Aggravated, you throw the paper towel on the sink. The last thing you want to deal with is some random classmate asking what happened to your dress, but as you turn around, you realize that it is not some random classmate.
"Ellie?" Ellie is the last person you expected to see, and if Peter finds out she's here, then the night will basically be over. He'll take you home and be grumpy for who knows how long.
"I need your help," she says urgently as she takes a step towards you.
"What do you need help with," You ask her. You really want to help her, but the last thing you want to do is ruin your friendship with Peter more. It has to be an emergency. "No offense, but last time you needed my help, things didn't end well."
"I know, but this is urgent." You nod your head. Ellie was a good friend, and you want to believe that this is important.
"Okay, let me just go get Peter," you take a step towards the door, but she stops you.
"NO!" She yells. You raise an eyebrow but think nothing of it. Besides, she hates Peter's guts, so you can't be surprised. "I mean, there's no time, and I wouldn't want to interrupt him and Gwen."
She wouldn't want to interrupt him and Gwen? Peter and Gwen?
"What do you mean?" you ask, dreading the answer.
"A slow song came on, and they were dancing, and they kissed. So what?" She shrugs as you both exit the restroom. "Now come on."
"Fine." Brokenhearted, you let her lead you towards the school's exit.
------------------
Earlier
Peter and Gwen watch as you exit the gym to clean your dress. Peter knew that Gwen had done it on purpose. He wasn't blind, and he wasn't born yesterday.
"So, Peter, I was wondering if you wanted to dance?" Gwen says as she steps towards him, her hand reaching for his. Stuffing both hands in his pockets, he tried to think of an excuse.
"Um... I would, but I'm...tired?"
"Well, when you're up for it, come find me." She winks at him, clearly not getting the hint, and walks ways.
"Where's Y/N going?" Ned says as he walks up with the rest of your friends.
"Gwen spilled something on Y/N's dress," He says as he sits down on the bleachers. Harley awkwardly coughs into his hand, Ned avoids eye contact, and Michelle looks at Peter like he's stupid. Meanwhile, Harry looks at Peter expectantly.
"We overheard Gwen tell her friends that she was going to 'fix Y/N's ugly dress,'" Harry told Peter. The shock was evident all over his face. He knew that Gwen spilling her drink on Y/N was no accident, but this didn't sound like her at all.
Not just that, but there was nothing wrong with Y/N's dress. The dress was beautiful, but it had nothing on Y/N. If anything, it just made it easier for others to see what Peter saw.
"Why? Y/N looked gorgeous!" Peter said without thinking. The others know about Peter's deep feelings for you, but Peter didn't know that. Peter quickly shut his mouth and began to blush.
"Gwen's been all over you since Y/N started hanging out with Ellie," MJ blurts out. She is quickly taken aback by Peter's unusually dark glare.
“Eloise,” He corrects her. MJ and the others nod their heads, feeling slightly frightened by how angry Peter becomes at the mention of Eloise Day. It's almost as though he can sense that she's trouble.
"Anyway..." Harley breaks the silence, "Gwen spilling her drink on Y/N wasn't an accident. She was jealous."
"So there goes my one chance at kissing Y/N." Peter deflates.
"You almost kissed?" Ned blurts out excitedly. Peter sadly nods.
"What the hell are you talking about, man?" Harry tells him. Peter freezes and stares in the direction of where he last saw you. "Y/N's been in love with you since-"
One second, Peter is sitting down; the next, he is running towards the exit. Harry, MJ, Ned, Harley, and Betty all look at each other in confusion before chasing after their friend.
"What's wrong?" Harry says, grabbing Peter by the arm. "What the hell was that about?"
"Y/N," Peter says, as though they'd know what he means. Instead, he was met by the confused stares of his friends.
"Peter, what's going on?" Betty asks him.
"She-she's gone," Peter motions around, causing his friends to become even more confused than they already were. Ned looked at his best friend's panicked face before stepping forward.
"She's not gone," Ned tells a worried Peter. "She said she was going to the bathroom, right?"
Peter, upset that his friends weren't understanding the danger you were in, stormed outside. He could tell that you weren't on campus anymore. He just didn't know why or how. Something had to have happened to you. You wouldn't just ditch him like that, would you? Especially tonight, when you were supposed to be on a (friend) date.
"Can't you call her?" Betty asks the group as they followed Peter outside.
"No, because we've got her purse," MJ adds as she holds up your purse.
"I can call Happy," Harley suggests. He pulls out his phone and dials Happy's number. "He's supposed to be on the lookout outside."
Everybody watches Harley as he tries to call Happy, but their attention quickly shifts to something else. Just a few feet away, they can hear the ringing of somebody's phone... and next to it is Happy's unconscious body.

Daddy’s Lil’ Girl
Tony Stark x daughter! Reader
Summary: For your dad’s 50th birthday, you get something special tattooed on your wrist.
Warnings: language, a tiny bit of my sister’s humor, and fluff.
A/N: I am honestly really really sorry. Huge apology to @starlight-starks. This is almost a whole year overdue.
Tumblr media
“Remind me again what where’re doing here?” Peter asks as the two of you walk into the tattoo shop.
The thing was, your dad has done so much for you that you couldn’t help but want to find some way to thank him. Your first idea was to buy him the funniest, most extravagant birthday card you could find at the local general store but after everything he’s done for you, it felt like that would be equivalent to a slap in the face.
Make no mistake, you did but the card, but you needed to do something more. That was why you and Peter. were at the tattoo shop.
“I’m getting a tattoo.”
“Yeah, but why?” He asks as if the mere thought of getting a tattoo was the strangest thing he’d ever thought of. Deep down, and judging by the way he eyed the pictures on the wall, you knew that he wanted one (even if he didn’t realize it himself yet).
“I want to do something special for my dad’s birthday,” you stated. “I figured that getting a tattoo would be like a permanent reminder that I’m thankful for him and all he’s done for me.”
“That’s nice, but why a tattoo?”, he asked. You sigh, not really wanting to tell him the complete truth, but you know that he is probably one of the few people you know that you can trust. Even with things as simple as this.
“I’ve kinda wanted one for a while, and I think they’re cool,” You say. Peter nods, as though deeming that to be an acceptable answer. You stare at him for a second before saying,“Maybe you could get one too.”
“Nope. May would kill me.”
“I guess, unless it is somewhere she can’t see.” Peter looks at you with a strange expression, clearly not understanding what you were saying. “You know, like the bottom of your foot..”
Before either of you could say another word, a long-haired woman, with a wickedly cool phoenix tattoo on her neck, came by with a clipboard.
“Y/N Stark?” You stood up and she nodded her head. “Right this way.”
You and Peter walked with her until she motioned for you to sit down. The woman handed you a catalog of different types of tattoos, but you already had one in mind. Pulling out a piece of paper from your pocket, you handed it to the tattoo artist.
“Actually, can I get this one instead?” She looks at the paper that had the words “Daddy’s lil’ Girl” in your handwriting, then sent Peter a judging look, before silently nodding her head.
“Of course.”
It wasn’t that long until she finished. You were happy Peter was there, although you’re sure you may have held his hand like a vise when the woman was doing your tattoo.
“There. All done. I can do you too if you want?” She asked Peter. He looked a bit torn between not wanting to disappoint May or getting a tattoo.
“Uh... okay,” he said. He sat on the chair and flipped through the pages of the catalog before handing it to you. “Um, maybe you should choose.”
“Okay. How about... this one.” You chose the one shaped like a tiny spider. You knew that Peter would like it, and you thought it was cute.Peter nodded his head nervously before sitting in the chair.
“Great. That will be $75.” She was quick to finish Peter’s tattoo, and oddly, he didn’t react much to the pain, if he felt any at all. “Have a nice day.”
Finally, the day arrived. You, Sam, Bucky, and Peter spent the morning baking the cake (and making a mess from the mini food battle) and now you were getting ready for the party. You chose a casual red dress, black flats, and left your hair the way it was. After that, you applied minimal make up before heading downstairs.
All of the Avengers were already there plus your friends. It was safe to sat that it was in full swing. Soon, dinner was served, then the amazing cake, and finally gifts were being handed out.
“Wow,” Your dad said as he opened the card. The front of the card wasn’t anything special. It said, “Like Father, Like Daughter. Oh crap.” Although, the inside was a pop out of Iron Man and (Your Superhero Name). Included with the card was a $500 dollars to use at Burger King and the receipt for your tattoo.
“What’s this?” Your dad asks. He noticed your smile, then Pepper’s, then Peter’s nervous expression.
“I wanted to do something special for your birthday, so...” You pushed up your sleeve enough so that the tattoo was visible. The tattoo said, in clear ink, “Daddy’s Lil’ Girl.”
“Wow.” He said.  “WOW.”
Your dad, maybe tearing up a little, looked at you. His smile said a thousand words, but you weren’t expecting what he was actually about to say.
“Now I have to get one.”

This is what the tattoo looks like in case anyone is wondering:

New Chapter is up. Part six is coming soon.
Dusk Till Dawn - Part 5
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: Everything seems to be back to normal as you and Peter prepare for homecoming, but nobody seems to realize how much is about to change.
Warnings: Swearing, jealousy,
A/N: I’m truly sorry this is late. There was some stuff I needed to deal with (but i’m fine now.). @rosaliestark01 will post part 6 very soon. GIFs are not mine. Credit goes to @spiderholland
Tumblr media
Ever since the incident at the bank, everyone seemed to walk on egg shells around you. They probably didn’t think you’d notice, but you did. They tended to stay out of your way, only talking to you if it was about school or how you were feeling.
The only people you ever saw really were the Avengers, Pepper, and Happy. Ned, MJ, Harry, and Harley visited once but it only lasted a few minutes. You rarely saw Tony. As for Ellie, you were the one to tell her that you wouldn’t be seeing her for a while.
She seemed pissed. You understood why you weren’t allowed to hang out with her anymore, but that didn’t stop her from insulting every single one of the Avengers, especially Peter. It surprised you because when you first met her, she seemed like one of the sweetest and kindest people you’d ever met.
After finishing an essay for your English class, you heard a knock on the door. Part of you didn’t want to open it in case it was Tony. Luckily, it wan’t. Peter was standing outside your room.

High School Musical - Part 2
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: Gwen tries to steal your would-be boyfriend during auditions.
Warnings:Swearing, fluff, jealousy
A/N: GIF credit goes to owner.
Tumblr media
A week after you and Peter signed up for the musical, you both found yourselves sitting among a few familiar faces. In fact, a lot of them were your friends.
Gwen Stacey was there (no surprise), but so was MJ, Harry, Betty, and Harley. You hadn’t expected to see so many of your friends there, and although you were nervous about auditioning for a musical, being around some of your best friends make it better.
“Hey Peter,” Gwen says as she sits between you and Peter. You had a feeling it was on purpose, but you weren’t going to say anything about it.
“Oh, uh... hey,” Peter say awkwardly. You weren’t sure if Peter knew what Gwen was trying to do, but you certainly did.
“I didn’t expect to see you here,” She says cheerily. You crossed your arm and pretended not to listen to their conversation, but it was pretty hard considering you were sitting right next to her.
“Me too,” Peter tells her as he scratches the back of his head.
“What part are you hoping to get?”
“Um, I don’t know?” He says.
“I really want to get Gabriella, but Sharpay I good too,”She goes off.  “I could totally see you as Troy.”
“You almost have a heart attack after hearing her say that to your Peter. You had gotten so used to people thinking that you and Peter were a couple that you didn’t know how to react to someone so openly flirting with him.
“I don’t know about that,” he laughs nervously.
“Are you kidding?”  She smiles.“You seem like the athlete type.” she nudges his shoulder.
“I’m not,” he tells her.
“Really?” “You’re so strong that I would’ve thought.”
You roll your eyes and she finally stops when she sees Mrs.Kramer walk out of her office.
“Gwen Stacey,” Mrs.Kramer reads off of a clipboard. Gwen stands up with a big smile on her face.
“Wish me luck,” she says to Peter before walking into Mrs.Kramer’s office. All he does in nod his head.
“You wish,” you mumble so low that Peter could barely hear you.
“Are you okay?” He asks. You nod your head as he takes a hold of your hand. It was usually something the two of you did whenever the other was nervous. But you were just friends, right?
“Yeah,” you say. Peter nods his head before squeezing your hand gently. “How are you doing? You seem nervous?”
“Yeah. I’m not sure if I’m going to do very well,” he confesses.
“Are you kidding?” You learn your head against his shoulder.“Your amazing at singing. Just try to pretend that I’m in there with you, okay?”
“Okay,” he nods his head again.
“That was wonderful, Gwen,”Mrs. Kramer says smiling as she and Gwen walk out of her office. “Results will be posted this Friday on the school’s website.”
“Thank you, Mrs.Kramer,” Gwen say, overdoing it on the “thank you.”
“Peter Parker,” Mrs. Kramer says. Peter looks at you nervously.
“Wish me luck?” He asks.
“Good Luck,” you say. You give him a “friendly” good luck kiss on the cheek. Peter looks at you stunned and out of the corner of your eye, you could see Gwen staring before she took her seat on the other side of the room.
“Peter Parker,” Mrs. Kramer says again. Peter stands up, a little too quickly, and clumsily drops a few of his school books. After picking them all up he hurriedly speed walks into Mrs.Kramer’s.
“Wow,” Harry says. You didn’t notice him when he sat down next to you, but now that you do seem him you notice the way he’s smirking at you.
“What?” you ask.
“Are you and Peter...?” He doesn’t finish, but you get the gist of it. He didn’t really need to make those types of hand motions.
“Um, we’re just friends,” you say.
“Really? Because it looked like you were sending Gwen a message to back off your man,” he smirks. You don’t want to admit he’s right, so you scoff.
“What? He’s not my man,” you say.
“Keep telling yourself that.”
You’re about to retort when Peter walks out of Mrs.Kramer’s office.
“Y/N Y/L/N.” She says. You stand up, but Harry stops you.
“Can I wish you luck,” he jokes.
“You wish,” you joke back. Peter walks up to you, a blush creeping its way onto his cheeks.
“Good Luck,” he says. He kisses your cheek, except he keeps his lips there longer than you did before. Afterwards, you walk into Mrs. Kramer’s office.
“You and Mr.Parker make a good couple,” she tells you as she sits down behind her desk.
“We’re just friends.”
“Mhmm,” She doesn’t sound convinced, but the subject is dropped. “So,what part are you hoping to get?”
“Any part would be fine,” you say truthfully. If so many of your friends are joining, and so is Peter, than you really want to be part of it.
“Okay,” she says nodding her head. “Can you sing... ‘Breaking Free’?”
“Yeah.” That was one of the songs you and Peter always sung the loudest. You just had to imagine that it was just you and Peter.
We're soarin', flyin' There's not a star in heaven That we can't reach If we're trying So breaking free
After you finish the song, you see Mrs.Kramer nodding her head and writing something on her clipboard.
“Thank you, Ms. Y/L/N.” She says. “Results will be posted on the school’s website on Friday.”
“Thank you,” you immediately exit her office and see Peter waiting for you.
“How did it go?” he asks as you both make your way to your car. Usually Peter drove the two of you, but his car had problems this morning.
“It went well... I think?”
The moment you both enter the compound, your surprised to see Nat, Bucky, and Sam there. They weren’t supposed to be back from their mission until next week.
“Wow,” Nat says, “We leave for a week and come back to learn that you and Peter are joining the musical.”
“Yeah,” you sigh. “In our defense, May and Tony tricked us into it.”
“I bet you guys will do great,” Bucky says to you and Peter.“Don’t you and Peter practically know the songs by-”
“Yep. Peter and I are going to do our homework. Bye!”you grab Pewters hand and rush to your room.
On Friday, you and Peter were a bit nervous to check the results. It wasn’t until May made all the Avengers sit you down so that you could all check it together. Neither of you expected what it said on the web page. Part of you was happy that Peter and Gwen weren’t love interest but Peter and you were.

Dusk Till Dawn - Part 4
Peter Parker x Reader
Summary: You meet your “real dad” and end up learning more than you expect you would.
Warning:Swearing, Angst, Angry!Reader, Angry!Avengers, Angry!Peter
A/N: Colab with @annies-marvel-imagines. No GIFs are mine.
Tumblr media
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” you ask. Ellie, somehow knowing where he lived, had practically dragged you there. You weren’t sure if he’d be happy to see you or not. You don’t even know if he knows you exist.
“Yeah,” Ellie says, gently pushing you towards the door of his apartment. “You deserve the truth and who better than your own dad?”
“Okay...” You knock on the door and wait.
“Just a second!” A man yells on the other side. You hear the sound of something breaking and someone swearing before the door opens. “What do you want?”
“I’m-”, you begin but he interrupts you.
“Y/N,” he says softly. You see some recognition in his eyes, but not very much.
“You know who I am?” You knew that people mostly knew you for being Tony Stark’s “daughter”, but you hoped that some part of him actually knew you for you.
“Of course I know you,” He says as he invites you and Ellie inside of his messy apartment. “You look so much like your mother, Kristen.” You give him a strange look, which he tilts his head at.
“Christine,” you correct him. Your mom’s name was Christine Y/L/N. How could he have forgotten
“Right. Of course,” he says quickly. “It’s just been a while since I’ve said her name.”
After a long period of silence, you don’t know what to say. The longer the silence it the more awkward you felt. What did you expect? You show up at your dad’s cheap apartment unexpectedly with your friend from school who looked way too comfortable in a stranger’s apartment. Instead of saying anything, you looked around. There wasn’t a lot of furniture in the room. There was a couch, a recliner, and a small box TV on top of a wooden crate.
“It’s nice to meet you,” you finally say quietly.
“It’s nice to finally meet you too. After all this time, i get to finally meet my daughter.”
That took you by surprise. Had he been looking for you and for how long?
“How long have you been trying to meet me?” you ask.
“Pretty much your whole life,”He says. He looks at you seriously before he continues. “I don’t know what Stark has told you, but he only cares about himself. He took you away from me before I even got the chance to hold you.”
“What?” You didn’t know what he was talking about but you wanted to know more. What did your dad Tony do?
“As revenge against my dad, he took you away from me,” Ezekiel says angrily.
“That doesn’t sound like him,” you tell him. No matter how angry you are at him, you knew that Tony Stark wouldn’t do something like that. Sure, he was prideful, arrogant, and a jerk, but he wasn’t a revenge kidnapper. It just sounded crazy.
“Then I guess you don’t know him as well as you thought you did.” He said. You had never seem someone so calm yet angry. “He ruined my life. He killed my dad, murdered my wife, and stole my own daughter.”
“That really doesn’t sound like him,” you tell him. Besides, Tony told you that Obadiah’s death was his own fault. You didn’t want to believe that that was another lie, but you couldn’t trust Tony Stark no matter how much you were trying to right now.
“It makes sense, Y/N,”Ellie, who had been pretty quiet this whole time, says. “Why else would he lie to you about this?”
“I don’t know.” You look down, not wanting either of them to see the tears that were threatening to fall. The more you tried to believe Tony’s side of the story, the more you couldn’t. He had been lying to you your entire life. Whose to say that your identity was the only thing he lied about.
“I know that it’s not something you want to believe, but your dad is right,” Ellie says.“You can’t trust Tony Stark.”
By the time you made it back to the Tower, it was already light outside. School was already in session, and the entire team was waiting for you in front of the tower. You knew they were all probably pissed at you, but all you could think about was what Ezekiel had told you.
“Y/N Stark, where the hell have you been?” Tony yells at you. You couldn’t help it, but hearing him call you that made you sick to your stomach, literally.  “Do you have any idea how worried we all were? We were this close to sending a search party and- Y/N?”
You tried to hold it in, but you couldn’t. You threw up right in front of everyone. Tony quickly approached you with worry and alarm painted all over his face. The second he tried to help you inside, you snapped.
“Don’t touch me!” you yell at him, causing him to quickly back away. The next thing you knew, everything became dark.
When you opened your eyes, you were back in your room. The curtains were drawn shut, and you noticed that you weren’t alone.
“Y/N, how are you feeling?”Steve asked. He sounded worried, would make sense since you literally just passed out in front of everyone. “Everyone’s worried about you. Your dad-”
“He’s not my dad,” you snap at him. You couldn’t help it. You knew he meant well, but you were stressed and angry.
“What’s gotten into you?” He asks seriously. “If there’s something bothering you, you can tell me.”
“Nothing is bothering me,” you lie. He gives you a look telling you hat he knows that you’re lying. You’re not planning on telling Captain America that the person who you thought was your dad wasn’t really your dad and had kidnapped you the same day you were born. Even you thought it sounded crazy, but you didn’t know what else to believe.
“Your friends are downstairs,” Steve says hesitantly. “They’re worried about you too.”
“You can tell them I’m fine,” if your friends were there, then that meant that Peter was probably there too. You weren’t in the mood for a lecture about safety from Queen’s friendly neighborhood webslinger.
“I think that’s something you should tell them,” Steve said gently. You signed, knowing that he was probably right. You threw back the covers on your bed and stood up, unfortunately too fast.
You made your way down to the lobby where Harry, Ned, MJ, Harley, and Peter stood waiting for you. You noticed the way Peter paced around nervously biting his nails. He stopped immediately the moment he say you and pulled you into one of the biggest hugs he’d ever given you.
“Y/N! Are you okay!” He asked frantically. “I was- we were worried sick!”
“I’m fine,” You tell him a you pull away, much to his disapproval. “There’s no need to worry.”
“Where were you?” He asked, although deep down he had a feeling he knew who you were with.
“I was just hanging out with Ellie,” you say. It was close to the truth. You were with Ellie. Luckily, his spidey-senses didn’t pick up on a lie. What it did pick up on was a feeling of looming danger whenever he heard anyone mention Eloise.
“I don’t think that hanging out with Eloise is healthy for you,” he snapped.
“Y/N, we really were worried about you,” MJ spoke up as she seemed to sense some tension between you and Peter.
“We still are,”Ned added. “You’re one of my best friends.”
You smiled, happy that Ned saw you like that. He was one of your best friends too. You felt lucky to have friends like these (and happy that they didn’t bring Gwen with them).
“But we all know I’m her favorite,” Harry says as he pulled you in for a side hug.
“You wish,” you joked.
“Um, I don’t remember your name being Harley,” Harley tells him jokingly. You all laugh, except Peter who is watching you like you’re going to fall over any second.
“Maybe we should all take the day off and hang out like we used to,” Ned suggests. Your smile fades. Acting like everything is all sunshine and rainbows sounds great, but it’s not. What you really need is time for yourself to think about everything that Ezekiel told you.
“I really want to, but I’m not feeling that well,” you tell them. The excuse sounds all too familiar to Peter, but this time he actually agrees with you.
“I agree. Y/n needs to rest,” he says.
You exchange goodbyes with your friend, however Peter leaves before you could say goodbye to him. You knew he was just worried, but it didn’t stop it from hurting any less.
On your way back to your room, you run into Tony. It looked like he was waiting for you. He stands up and walks towards you with a sad look on his face.
“Y/N, I-”, he begins, but you shut the door to your room before he could say anything else.
You notice the USB that you stole from Hydra sitting on your desk. Part of you wishes that you had never stolen that file from Hydra but you’re also glad you did. You don’t want to live a lie anymore.
An hour later, your phone dings. Picking it up, and assuming it’s Peter, you are surprised to see that the message is from Ellie, and it sounds urgent.
Ellie: Know it’s not the best time, but meet me at the bank asap!!!!
Since you know that someone is probably outside your door (most likely Tony or Steve), you climb out the window. It takes longer than usual because half way through you begin to feel a bit dizzy.
Eventually, you make it down and make your way to the bank. You don’t know what Ellie is doing there or why she wants you there as soon as possible, but she is your friend and if she is in danger, then you have to help her.
“What’s going on?” you say upon seeing her. Before she could say anything, somebody grabs you by the throat.
“You!” they yell. You instantly feel something hit you. It was a freaking lamp. Looking up, you instantly recognize the person.
“Didn’t I throw a knife at you?” you ask.
“As you can see, I’m alive now.” Now? What was that supposed to mean?
“Obviously,” you say back at him. He looks at you angrily as you move yourself to stand in front of him. Despite your killer headache, you are smart enough to know that there is no good reason why he’s here.
“Why don’t you get out of my way?” he say. Unfortunately, it looks like he has an upgraded version of that weird space gun.
After you got shot on that mission, you had planned on upgrading your suit to make it more bullet proof, but not only did you forget, but you didn’t even bring it with you.
“You know what?” He asked, when you stood your ground. “Since we’re both here, I might as well repay you for what you did to me.”
“I think I’m good,” you say. To be truthful, you were starting to feel nervous. You were feeling severely underequipt compared to this dude. You didn’t have your suit and this guy had a giant space gun.
“I don’t care,” he says as he points it at you.
“I believe she said she’s good,” a voice says. You all look to see Spider-Man leaning against the door. You’re happy he’s here, but you know that now you’re in for the biggest lecture of your life.
“This doesn’t concern you,” the man says as he points the space gut at you again.
Peter uses his webs to pull the gun before the blast hits you. Instead, it creates a burning hole in the wall behind you. Peter tries to web the guy up, but somehow he can’t.
Feeling the need to do something, you try something that Nat was teaching you before she and everyone else became too busy to train with you. A lot of what she taught you was about balance and using your body weight. This seemed like a good time for that considering Peter’s web shooters were’t sticking to this guy.
Unfortunately for all of you, the guy got a hold of his space gun again and this time he pointed it at Peter.
“Pete!” you yell. Not thinking twice about it, you take the blast that was meant for him. It hits you in the exact same place as last time, so for that you are lucky.
“What the hell?” He yells before turning on the guy. “You-”
Peter, not caring about his strength punches the man, sending him flying. Somehow, he’s still alive. He grabs the gun, presses something on the side, as shoots at the three of you.
“Get down!” You yell, pulling Peter and Ellie down. The explosion sends part w wall flying at you guys, but Peter catches it.
Ellie?” you ask, checking to see if she was okay.
“I’m fine,” she say as she glares at Peter.
“Y/N, what the hell were you thinking?” He yells at you.
“She saved your life, you ungrateful-” Ellie says, stepping in and pointing a finger at him.
“You bringing her here almost got her killed!” He yells back. Although you don’t have spidey-senses, you have a feeling that their fight is about to spiral out of control. It doesn’t help that your two friends hate each others guts.
“So now it’s my fault that some crazy person tried to kill Y/N?”, she screams. She throws a punch at Peter, but he easily catches it.
“Why don’t you tell us who you really are?” He asks her. His voice is steady but seeping with hatred.
“What the hell are you talking about?” She screams back. Even you have to admit that she is starting to look a little crazed.“Y/N, I think this stupid arachnid has gone crazy.”
“Hey-”you say. Yeah, you were definitely going to be lectured by Peter and everybody else you know, but you are not going to put up with her insulting Peter like that.
“You-” She yells, probably trying to insult him further, when Peter’s head quickly turns to your left.
“That is enough everyone!” Tony yells. He, Pepper, Happy, and the rest of the Avengers are standing right outside the burning bank.
“Stark.” Ellie say disdainfully.
“Excuse me, but who are you?” He asks her.
“She’s my friend,” you pipe up, not wanting her to say anything that could get her in trouble.
“How come we’ve never heard of her?” Nat asks. Tony is about to say something but she stops him.
“You guys don’t need to know every detail of my life.” She looks taken aback because you have never spoken to her like that before.
“Y/N, you haven’t been acting like yourself lately. What’s up with that?” Pepper says as she walks up to you. She seems to notice that the part of your shirt where you were shot was burnt .
“Let’s just... go home. Okay?” She asks. It was more of a suggestion that you had no choice but to agree to.
You notice Ellie fuming when Peter says something to her. Frankly, you don’t want to know.
Later that night, Pepper walks in (probably because she’s the only one you seem to be okay with).
“Y/N, I think it’s best that you don’t see Eloise for a while,” she say hesitantly.
“Why?” Although you already know why, you couldn’t help but ask.
“It’s just until things go back to normal,” she reassures you. “From now on, you’ll be home schooled. You can still go to Homecoming with your friends and go to any after school activities you already have. Okay?”
“Okay.” You’re not entirely sure that Peter would still want to go to Homecoming with you after today, but you nod your head anyway.

“Does anybody want to explain why Wade Wilson is in the waiting room?”, your dad demands as he walked into your office.
Ever since Pepper had handed the position to you, your dad had made a habit of visiting you when he could. It was nice that you were able to see him a lot, but sometimes (like right now) you wish that he could have other stuff going on.
Your dad had never been a fan of your’s and Wade’s friendship. You dad often argued that Wade was dangerous and being a known friend of him was probably more dangerous. Although he was right, you still liked being friends with Wade.
“He has an appointment,” you say.
“For what?” In all honesty, you didn’t know what the appointment was about either, but if he made an appointment then it had to be for some purpose, right?
“I don’t know, Dad,” you tell him as you stand up from your desk. “His appointment is going to start soon, so I’m gonna call him in now.”
“Okay.” Your dad hugs you goodbye before making his way towards the glass door. “I’ll see you at home.” You don’t miss the strange look he gives Wade, who is currently sitting comfortably in the waiting room, dressed in his Deadpool outfit, and hogging most of the magazines.
“Then, she told me that if I didn’t get out, she’d turn me into a fucking knife rack,” Wade tells you twenty minutes into his appointment. You knew that if this were anyone else, you’d have kicked them out by now, but you couldn’t with him.
“I’m sorry,” you say genuinely. “That must’ve been hard for you.”
“Three years thrown out the fucking window and for what?” Wade tells you, pausing for dramatic effect. “That dude who plays James Gordon on TV.”
“I meant her threatening to stab you, but Vanessa cheating on you must’ve also been hard.” You’ve never been cheated on, so you can’t imagine how hurt Wade must be feeling now.
“Oh. It’s okay. I can’t die,” he casually says to you.
“Pardon?”
“After Francis experimented on me, I became pretty much immune to everything, including death.”
“Wow. That’s amazing,” you say. “What other powers do you have?”
You just realized how weird it was that you’ve known Wade for a few years now and not once had you bothered to ask what his superpower was.
“Breaking the forth wall.”
“Wha- Never mind.” You didn’t really know what he meant by that, although you weren’t going to question it. You’d already gotten used to him talking to people who weren’t there, so this was probably something that had to do with that.“Maybe- have you ever thought of joining the Avengers?”
“No, not really,” he shrugged.
“You could,” you say. “We could-”
The truth was, you mostly wanted Wade to join the Avengers because he was your best friend. You knew he was an expert at fighting, so that was a plus, but you really enjoyed talking and spending time with him. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think you were in lo-
“Sorry, buttercup, but I’m no hero,”he says, sitting up. “Anyway, do you want to get lunch?”
“Sure,” you say. You didn’t want to drop the subject, but you had to admit that you were starving.
“You asked him to join the Avengers?” You dad asks incredulously.
After lunch, you and Wade went your separate ways. You dad was waiting for you back at the compound, and was very displeased at you for taking it upon yourself for asking Wade to join your little band of heroes.
“Yeah. He told me that he can heal really fast and he was even able to take down the guy who experimented on him,” you explain to him.“Besides, he’s my best friend.”
“Y/N, he calls himself Deadpool,” you dad argues. “I don’t want you hanging out with someone like him.”
“Well, I’m an adult, so-” you say, but your dad interrupts you.
“I know. I’m not telling you what to do,” he explains. You were a grown adult, capable of making your own decisions (most of the time), and you knew that he knew that.“I’m just offering some fatherly advice.”
“I understand, but I still think he’d make a great addition to the team.”
“Let’s just agree to disagree.” You dad stands up from his seat, probably ready to go to bed, before he asks, “Besides, if the X-Men can’t recruit him, what make you think he’ll join us? How long have you been friends with him anyway?”
“I think I’ve know him for around two years.” You met him before that Francis guy had experimented on him. You were sure that if he hadn’t already been in a relationship with Vanessa at the time, then maybe- nope. You were getting way ahead of yourself.
“Okay, what do you see?” You dad asks through your ear-piece. You were currently infiltrating an old warehouse that was being used by someone who is suspected of having close ties with Hydra.
“I see a bunch of boxes and an old computer,” you say. The place was a mess. Papers and trash was littered everywhere, the boxes were badly sealed, and the computer looked like the one Mathew Broderick had in WarGames.
“Okay. Can you turn on the computer?” You dad asks. You certainly could, if you could get through the mess without tripping and landing on your face.
“Yeah, let me just-” Suddenly you felt something collide with the side of your head. You’re vision started to become blurry and the last thing you heard before passing out was the sound of your dad calling your name.
“What the hell?” You ask as soon as you open your eyes. You were in some kind of room and you couldn’t move your hands. They were tied up buy some rusty, yet strong, chains.
“Ms. Stark”, Some guy said. You don’t recognize him, but he knows who you are. “We were beginning to think that Aries had hit you a little too hard. It’s nice to see you finally awake.”
You roll your eyes at him. You’ve heard the same speech one too many times in your life to feel threatened by whoever this Aries guy is.
“Can you just cut to the chase already?” you ask.
“We want information on the Avengers.” You refrain from laughing. The whole kidnapping and torturing for information thing seemed pretty cliche, even for Hydra.
“You’re gonna have to try a lot harder than kidnapping me to tell you anything... which I won’t.”
The man becomes serious before turning to another man, who you assumed was Aries. He was pretty huge. He was bulky, tall, and seemed to have a permanent scowl on his face.
“Aries,” he says. Aries immediately yanks your hair back painfully. You don’t let your pain show as the man continues to ask questions about the Avengers.
After a few days, you barely felt pain anymore. They’d cut you, punch you, kick you, and even pour freezing cold water on you.
“Okay,” you finally said,  “This is starting to get a bit redundant.”
The man, whose name you learned was Heath, looked at you angrily. Not only had he failed to get any sort of information from you, but you continuously teased him the entire time he and Aries tortured you.
“Then I guess we have no use for you,” he stands up, getting ready to end you, before you both hear a knock on the door.
“Who the fuck-” Heath, with his gun ready, opens the door but he is met with Aries’s head flying at him.
“Language.”Wade says as he shoots Heath a few times. Finally, he looks at you.“Hey, hot stuff, you okay?”
“Yeah,” you say. You’re glad that he showed up when he did. Well, preferable, he could’ve shown up earlier, but this works too.  “Can you get me out of these chains,” you saw motioning to the rusted chains that were constricting your hands.
“As much as I wanna see you tied up, seeing you bruised and bloody is not my idea of a good time,” he says. You roll your eyes as he works on getting you free.
“Thanks.”
“No problem, sweet cheeks,” he says.
Back at the compound, you dad was pretty much having a fit. Apparently, all of the Avengers had been out looking for you. Somehow, although nobody knows how, Wade had been the one to find out where you were.
“Look, I know that you said that being a hero wasn’t your thing, but maybe you could reconsider,” you say.  “After all, my dad is probably never going to send me on a solo mission again, so I kinda need a partner.”
“I’ll consider it.” You know deep down what you won.
Wade looked at you in a way that he’d never looked at you before. You’re mind immediately went back to all the stuff he told you about Vanessa. Hadn’t they just recently broke up?
“I think this is the part of the fan-fiction where we’re supposed to kiss,” he says.
“What?” Did he really just say “fan-fiction”?
He kissed you, and neither of you noticed your dad approaching.
“I’m gonna need another drink.”
A/N: I know this is a bit late, but I honestly wasn’t sure how I wanted to write this. I still hope you like it, though.

I’d be happy to. My dad and I are watching Deadpool right now so that I could get an idea of what the character is like, so if I’m lucky I could have it up by Tomorrow.
