if meredith does have connections to the alchemists like people are theorising then I am so excited to see her dynamic with sydney. meredith, this child of two horrible systems one moroi one alchemist, and she can only ever be part of the moroi system because in the alchemists she's the enemy by a coincidence of birth - but she finds these quiet ways to rebel through the series, wanting to fight with words, looking for time off practice, generally finding space to be someone other than the guardian that the moroi demand her to be. then we'll have sydney who is on the surface a perfect alchemist - but she rebels completely behind the scenes, making a deal with the devil to avenge someone she loves...

those two are going to have such a fun dynamic

As vampires, blood is, of course, incredibly important to the Moroi. The Aazh Naamori word “vaza” means blood. To show its importance to the Moroi, @dedalvs and I decided to further extend the meaning so it’s also the word for “life.”
