I just can't get the scene of hiccup and Astrid's first ride with toothless but with Jack I the arranged marriage au!

Like toothless is doing all these crazy stunts to make Jack scared but he's an insane person so he having the time of his life. Meanwhile hiccup is freaking out cause -oh odin, there all gonna die. Toothless does realise that he's gonna go down with them right? Wait how am I gonna tell stoik that I accidentally killed my betrothed with a dragon????

All the while Jack has his hands I the air like a rollercoster (nothing is keeping attached to toothless other then his hands.)

Arranged Marriage au~ Valka and Jack’s mom were the best of friends, like sisters, they became shield maidens together. They had plans of having their future children getting married. After Valka passed, Stoick honours her wishes with Jack’s mom and arranges the boys to be married when they’re of age and making strong allies with both tribes. They had very promising first meetings.

Not at all! I feel ya, completed Hijack fics are far few in between. I honestly only have a few completed ones to recommend, and by few I mean few, because I am a very picky reader and the littlest thing can put me off a fic. That, and back when I got into Hijack, AO3 still confused tf outta me and so I've only just recently got back into hijack fiction, just in time for the renaissance~ (Sorry in advance for the super short list).

Of the Northmost Winds and Skies by xxiiyu (@jjackfrost) - Masterpiece. Chefs kisses all around. Totally would not confess to binge-reading this until 4 am on my nth reread.

Soul of a Druid by SilverlySilence - One of the first hijack fics I read since I so desperately wanted to read one with a monstrous word count. Good fic, great fic. Bonus fact, it's a series!

Save A Village... Get A Bride? by EmerialynCodeVenice (@emerialyncodevenicenice) - I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole time. Also God!Jack.

The Ripple of a Snowflake by EmerialynCodeVenice (@emerialyncodevenice) - If you haven't read it yet. All I can say is... Read. Now.

Son of a Witch by twiafom - Hawt dog here they are again! The thing that I love about the fic is that Jack doesn't time travel back to Berk (nothing wrong with that either!) and the author writes Jack and his back story really well, you'd read it and be like 'yeah, sounds about right.' Also, arranged marriage!

THEM! i spent like a good few days trying to work out what the hell to do w these designs, I'm still not super solid on hiccups cape because colour theory is my long term rival so if u have any suggestions there lemme know

yeah other than that i love them and this fandom has a vice like grip on my brain its not funny anymore I feel so bad for my irl friends I wont shut up about them lmao

#CAPE!!! #I think what’s wrong is that the colour palette is to large? #uhhh something something pick three colours and then do them in a 60- 30- 10 ratio #I’d make the cape the same colour as he armour thing or try to tie that shade of brown into more areas of his design #I’m very tired but brain is going brbrbr over this #maybe have it attach differently??? that might be what’s throwing off #idk I think right now it kinda looks like a squares been put behind him? #which yes you go ‘cape’ but then when you stare at it longer it makes less sense #if you want me to shut up I will #tired rambles
