When I was a kid one of my favorite books was The Wuzzles - Ellaroo’s Big Surprise. The whole concept was this girl who read books about the Wuzzles & transported into their world. Idk if it was in part because of that book, if it was some maladaptive coping mechanism, if it was the wonder & imagination of a child, or a combo — but as a kid sometimes I would wonder if my life was actually a book

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about TV workplace romances, especially in sitcoms. I’ve been thinking about how life imitates art, & art imitates life. About how some things seem like they’ve gotta be purely fiction, purely entertainment. But then you find these kernels of things in day to day life & maybe the veil between fiction & reality thins a bit
