So that Starfy post turned out to be prophetic because I started a brand new save file and made it to World 6 in under a day.

I am DETERMINED to finally finish the story mode for this damn game!

So fun fact: Years ago, I actually played The Legendary Starfy long before I ever even touched a Kirby game.

I was around 10 years old and I remember adoring the gameplay and the world. I must've poured 40 or so hours into the game, exploring the levels, searching for treasure, fucking around in the minigames, and...getting stuck on the bosses.

Yeah, I never actually managed to finish The Legendary Starfy. I managed to reach the penultimate world of the story mode, but I just...couldn't figure out how to get past a particular puzzle. And after getting frustrated with so many of the bosses, I just put the game down and haven't touched it since.

What sucks is that the old save file I used to have is long gone, so I'd have to start from the very beginning anyways if I wanted to play it again.

And y'know what? I really do want to play it again. Mainly because the few Starfy spirits in Smash Ultimate reminded me of the game's existence.

Y'know, I've been trying out a lot of new game franchises recently. Back in 2021 I had some pretty bad burnout after Pokemon spent the last decade disappointing and infuriating me with terrible releases.

In fact, my desire to try new games started with me getting so fed up with PLA that I picked up Monster Hunter Stories at complete random, and I loved that game so much that I ended up getting into Monster Hunter as a whole.

And since then, I've been looking at more games! I've been playing Kingdom Hearts recently, I never thought I'd actually be into the Kirby games, I recently bought Soulstice because the gameplay looked cool!

I've even been thinking about picking up DMC or the Darksiders Saga and giving them a go. I also have Octopath Traveler waiting in the wings because I don't think I've ever played a 2d pixel art game.

My point is that diversifying your game palette can only be a good thing.

I completed the main campaign of Smash Ultimate last night and my god, Lifelight is still such a good song.

I had fun with the game, but I'll admit, the only reason I picked it up was because Sora was a DLC fighter.

Unless Sora shows up in future Smash games, I don't think I'll be picking up any future titles.

My whole life I thought Kirby was this happy-go-lucky franchise about a pink balloon and the penguin he bullies on a regular basis.

Well, now I know the games are like that. But with the added twist that you have to fight Literal God at the end of every single game.

If your still looking for art suggestions, could you do sniper and spy hanging out. Maybe Sniper teaching spy how to shoot a sniper rifle?

Did I go overboard with this ask? Yes I did. But I haven't really played around with light/backgrounds in any meaningful way, so I wanted to try my hand at Sniper's...well, sniper nest.
