Salutations! Fellow Rosegarden/Rosepine Shippers!

"What is Rosegarden to you" is an open collab for fellow Rosegarden shippers to share their love for their ship. For this event artists will draw Ruby and Oscar as they like, whether they be childhood friends, chibis, hero vs villian, canon appearances, au etc. Just keep it pg.

A google drive will be created for artists to share their drawing as a png. After September 23rd 11:00pm EDT no further drawings will be accepted. Images will than be compiled into one image and shared as a completed work showcasing everyone's work all together!

A poll will be posted shortly for folks to vote on what the potential background will be. But folks are more than welcome to begin drafting ideas or working on their piece now.

Once the drive is open a link will be shared. Thank you everyone for your interest in this little event hope you enjoy the rest of your day. And goodluck!

Back in 2021 @deb0o @jealouscartoonist and I wanted to design RWBY characters in Genshin. We never finished all the characters we wanted, but I still designs Weiss and Yang. Still love Weiss’s design and would love to do my own take on all the RWBY girls now that we have more nations!

Taking a break from uploading my backlog of art to address the drama in a community I am no longer an active member of, but was for several years.

Don’t sexualize minors. Don’t justify sexualizing minors. Just don’t. And if you do, do it in your own little private space and stay AWAY so no one has to clean up your community shaming messes. Don’t try to justify having a NSFW channel in the community discord server just because every other ship does. This is not every other ship. This is a ship with two minors, full of shippers proud of their wholesome content.

Here’s a fun little fact for you: the first discord server for this community was destroyed for having a NSFW channel! And it wasn’t by the antis, it was by members of this very community! If that doesn’t show you how against normalizing NSFW of minors this community is, then I don’t know what to tell you.

To the innocent shippers that are afraid to post about their love for this ship now, don’t be afraid! You are not in the wrong and people outside will see that in your behavior and content! I’ve never been attacked before for posting art of this ship, even kisses! And if I were, I would just explain that I don’t include the old man and if they continue to harass me, block! The block button is your shield, and it’s amazing at its job!

If you felt pressured into taking part in the jokes, I don’t blame you. This community shrunk a lot after the discord drama that made people like me leave last year. And the people at the center of all of this were the loudest most active members, so I understand that you would want to be their friend to belong and be a part of the fun. You just need to learn to stand up for yourself and your beliefs. I know it’s hard, it’s hard for me too. But I know you can do it and it will save you from issues like this in the future.

I will keep enjoying the ship passively as I have for the last year. I will talk about it with my friends and cheer for any moment those characters are together. And when I draw it, I will share my fanart FEARLESSLY and UNASHAMED like I always have, because I have nothing to fear. I don’t sexualize minors and I don’t include the old man in the mix. Why should I be afraid and ashamed of my innocent and wholesome shipping?
