Forgot to post this recipe for infused Burmese Chicken Soup from a week ago (oops 😋) I hate sweet potatoes but this recipe made me come around. It's the ultimate comfort food. Give the recipe a whirl while you are stuck in quarantine 😃

1 bunch chopped cilantro

Lime Juice

1 can coconut milk, unsweetened

1 lb cubed chicken thighs

2 cups chicken broth

2 sweet potatoes

Himalayan sea salt

Red pepper flakes

Ground Coriander

Tumeric

Ground ginger

1 diced Shallot

Minced ginger

3-6 garlic cloves

1 Tbsp infused avocado oil

Medium heat sautee garlic, ginger, and shallot in infused oil. Add spices and salt. Lower heat and add sweet potatoes.

Add 1/2 c of broth to deglaze. Add rest of broth, chicken & coconut milk. Cover and simmer for at least 30 minutes.

Add lime juice and cilantro (save some for garnish). 6-8 servings

The other day I sat in a car with someone I thought I had an issue with and talked for 2 hours. I thought I had a problem with this person because of my own projection and paranoia.🌼 That's the problem with the company you keep that feel like "home". If you keep yourself in the same mind space to perpetuate negative behaviors that you are trying to actively get rid of then the time is up to remove yourself. Either the universe will remove you or it will remove these people. It doesn't have to be drama and burning bridges but it can be silence as well. There is great peace in saying nothing and also great peace in realizing your own truth.🌼

The truth is I don't want to be a venting angry bitch. The truth is I want to talk about positive UPLIFTING things. But if I cultivate a world wherein isolation and comparison through judgement of others plays a part l will never be what I am working towards. I am working towards unlearning. 🌼

I do not want to operate in the same space I operated in my early 20s. It must suck to feel stuck so I do offer my sympathies. But I'm doing beautifully growing into my 30s and I will be even more of a ravishing human in my 40s, 50s, and beyond.🌼 Don't get me wrong. There is beauty in all of our hearts but the truth of the matter is some hearts are not meant to beat together.🌼

Listen to your own heartbeat before you follow anothers.💛💛💛

Seasonal Affective Disorder is real y'all. You aren't crazy. You just need that Vitamin D. CBD does help me with the anxiety related to the depression but I find THC microdosing works better when I am feeling grey in the colder months. Too much THC and I find myself back in a slump. But keep in mind, my microdose is not your microdose. Know your limits. Listen to your body. Plant medicine is individualized. Not one size fits all🌿

200 Year Old Rose Tea this afternoon with Feng.🌹🍵 She dropped several knowledge bombs on me and opened my eyes.🤯 No meditation but all discussion. Actually more of the listening on my end. 🤔How often do we even really just sit and listen to each other? Sometimes it feels like we are just waiting to speak.🤐🗣 Taking turns spewing trash out of our mouths and calling it connection. 👉That's why I like to sit for tea. The conversation is mindful and largely insightful. 👈

I didn't need cannabis because I was tea drunk by 3. 🙃I will say it was nice to microdose in the morning with a 1:1 THC/CBD blend of my choosing & it wasn't until 7PM that I felt I needed extra elevation. 🌬I think I can get use to this journey. I hope you will join me because it's going to get interesting.✌💕

Healing is not linear🌈

This is why sometimes we meet people who seem to be in and out of our lives.

Were at different crossroads. Sometimes we learn a lesson about ourselves, about another, or just a reminder on how we need to be operating.➡️ Projection plays a big part in this. We find the good in others that we see in ourselves however we also more often than not find the bad. We point the fingers of blame at the other party but in reality is both parties. ➡️Sometimes when you are trying to break free from negative patterns of behavior you get triggered by yourself in others. You then live in a skewed reality guarded by ego. The person who never acknowledges wrong doing learns nothing. You cannot learn from perfection but from the mistakes rather. We all make mistakes but that is your opportunity to move on a grow from that. We then drag others into our messes with us. And guess where that all brings us? 🚫Nowhere nowhere fast and covered in karmic shit. The nasty stuff; the shadow in us.🚫 Yes we all have shadow in us but we do not define ourselves solely on this. We acknowledge the darkness in us so we can learn to reach for the light.

Changing the narrative so you don't look like that bad guy is only to your detriment. Denying others realities in order to mask your own sense of lacking self worth is the mark of a narcissist in the making. Lying about life and what you do is the quickest way to dishonor yourself.💯 You now have to operate in an alternate reality in order to keep up with your image. There's no room for spiritual growth in that. 🚫

➡️You can do all the meditating, yoga, and mind enhancing activities but when you have to change even the simplest of realities into a fallacy to cover up your hurt pride, YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED.⬅️ Be genuine, Be who you are. Because guess what? You are never the villain in your own story and you should learn how to get used to that. No one is entitled to you except you and you cannot be for everyone. Just be there for yourself and show up honestly. ✌
