We cling to material objects because we think they make us feel secure, when in reality they are exploiting and nurturing our insecurities, complicating our lives, and cluttering our minds.
I guess this is why the bible says "thou shalt not covet and It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
You see, the pursuit of material gain leaves the mind agitated, aggravated and impure. And when we finally get what we wan't we become addicted or attached to that place or thing---which farther separates our mind from it's true Christ like nature.
I have been fortunate to experience wealth and poverty, and in poverty there is no peace, and in wealth there is no peace, but in myself (meditation) I have found an intrinsic happiness, which poverty can't spoil and money can't by. One day I hope to share this pure undefiled peace and joy with you.

The question is are you truly ”free”, or are you thinking and acting in a designed manner?
Are you awakening or just falling under another delusion?
Are you a free thinker or are you just reacting accordingly to the limitations and predispositions of past primitive generations?
B. F. Skinner was one of the most influential of American psychologists. A behaviorist, he developed the theory of operant conditioning -- the idea that behavior is determined by its consequences, be they reinforcements or punishments, which make it more or less likely that the behavior will occur again.
Which means there is a 99.999 percent chance that your thinking within a social construct.
Who is free? Yes you may experience moments of freedom, but than it’s back to business: ‘gotta pay the mortgage’—‘gotta Mow the lawn’—‘Gotta book airline tickets to go see my parents for their 33rd anniversary and because I’m a captive of space and time unfortunately I can’t teleport from Florida to Oregon.’ You kinda get where this is going?
”Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.” Romans 6:16-18
In other words every man is a slave to something. You’ve only got as much freedom as God gives you. “Free will is an illusion.” either you will take Jesus as Lord or another.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19  We love him, because he first loved us. 20  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21  And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.   (1 John 4:16-21)

Saint Augustine said "Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe." Today go out into the world looking for God in everything you experience, realize his presence is immanent in every breath of everything breathing. Try to manifest Gods glory in every step you take; this is what it means to walk the straight and narrow. The Silk Road of consciousness are paved with the blessings and righteousness of God. The pure in heart see the glory of God internally, and his ways are manifested in their life, works, and and personal conduct. #GodisLove ❤️

As long as Man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings, he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love. –Pythagorus
