Regardless of an author’s views, it is always unfortunate when they have to finish their story abruptly because of the pressure of the readers. One would think that they would appreciate it enough not to bully the author, but unfortunately, a lot of times people are very demanding and emotional.

lol Anon!! I am very happy that you got intrigued by these two; I really like thinking about them too to be honest lol so I guess I better share my thoughts before we get more canon lore about them (god forbid, I wouldn’t want that at all! *reverse psychology*)

Alright, so to answer your questions…

To be honest, I don’t think they sleep in the same bed, mostly because both of them are too damn long and take up too much space to share a bed lol They used to sleep together when they just got married, but quickly decided that it’s just too bothersome.

Moray eels aren’t super social and don’t have the “mate for life” mentality, so their family façade is kind of fake. It also makes them dangerous, because one moray eel is already trouble, but two? Who also have a family? This is one of the things that make them so dangerous. So yeah, I wouldn’t say that Papa and Mama Leech love each other romantically, but they have mutually beneficial relationship, and to them this is probably even better than love. They are also probably aren’t intimate with each other anymore… they are with other people though, when they feel like it~

So yeah, to answer your question about a cuck chair lol Sure, why not, but I feel like with these two it’d be more like one of them is obliterating some poor merman while the other watches it just for the sake of enjoying the show. And some additional intimidation/humiliation 😔

When it comes to family, both of them really wanted kids, but not due to any wholesome reasons: Papa Leech wanted to keep his business going strong even after he’s gone, and he would rather choke on a puffer fish than entrust it to anyone other than his own copies lol And Mama Leech really enjoys the drama of being a mother and a wife. She is a bit of a narcissist, and both of them are kind of sociopathic?? But they love their kids in their own ways.

The fact that Mama Leech doesn’t cook is the biggest secret in the world lol The tweels usually play along, especially Jade, but Floyd is more likely to just roll his eyes whenever she is talking to someone about cooking dinner for her sons. I would say that they have a cook, but actually I feel like the majority of things that they eat are raw…

We haven’t played it, and to be honest I doubt that we ever will; it really isn’t our cup of tea. That being said, we do have some sketches of genshin characters lying around that I drew for our friends who are into the game. So, here are Scaramouche (who is the one character that intrigued us the most), Wriothesley (god that name) and Freminet!

These are pretty quick sketches though.

We might at least check out some of the scenes at some point (there are a lot of very juicy scenes in this arc that I would love to hear the seiyuu cast voice), but whatever we do, it absolutely won’t be very soon :( Since we are preoccupied with other things and all.

The ED really is very pretty! The colour schemes and the shading that they use is very nice and suits the atmosphere a lot. I also love how we just keep getting these romantic dance-like visuals for Sebastian and Ciel lol, this is their tradition at this point. And a great tradition at that! Keep catching him, Sebastian... 💪

Wow, so there are two fandoms that had this happen to them this week (in addition to the Conan thing)? Or is this related to this situation?

The artist absolutely shouldn’t be harassed; no one should be harassed in that situation actually, people should just reflect on how they interact with the media and what is more important to them: having fun with their favourite ship or their moral superiority. Whenever shit like this happens, I always think about how they can’t be this delusional and not see how silly this discourse is. Like, what are you supposed to do? Stop shipping it (do you completely lack self-respect?) or start coming up with excuses (are you a hypocrite?).

Ideally, it should show to them that fictional characters being cousins doesn’t change anything. But in actuality, it only makes people confused and angry… and start doing stupid shit like harassing others or trying to prove that their ship is still somehow alright.

It really is funny though, not gonna lie lol

To be honest, I can see that too. Cater seems like someone who isn’t all that into anime and manga, but is aware of it enough to recognise that the cover is pretty and that there is something gay inside (he might figure out the latter thing later as he looks inside the book lol). His sisters really could be into it though, so I can see him having certain associations.

I feel like I was pretty vocal about it, so I am sorry for talking about it again, but I really didn’t enjoy how Ch2 was handled and Leona in general, to be honest. I wrote a post about my grievances a whole year ago, but my stance didn’t really change. We’ve rewatched the majority of the main story since then, and I thought that maybe with fresh minds and fresh eyes we would enjoy Leona at least to some degree, but unfortunately it didn’t really help. The events don’t really help either…

There might be some other things, but this is the one I think about every time when we talk about the flaws of TWST writing.

Exactly! A lot of things influence the way people come up with ideas, this is such a complex thing, of course not everything is going to cater to everyone – this is simply impossible. Picking and choosing and reading stuff that interests you while avoiding things that annoy or hurt you is always the way to go.

Oh, that’s a fun question. I feel like Idia would be the only one, and he would also probably have this excuse/explanation, like he really isn’t into BL, but this particular work is just very good, it has great art style, good writing + Idia’s favourite artist was influenced by this manga/series of doujins, so of course he had to get it, this is an important otaku artifact! And OF COURSE it’s paper, that’s the whole point! Even if it’s smutty, it’s art!

Ortho could start getting into BL himself; he would start by reading this one manga that Idia owns lol Idia was sure he’d hidden it well.

The rest of the cast strike me as normies… but hey, Lilia could have some! If he has any manga at all, I can imagine him owning a BL book just ‘cause. But since he probably bought it years ago when he was traveling around the TWST equivalent of Japan, it might be a bit outdated lol And probably a little cursed, which is why Lilia got so into this book back then.

Jade gaslighting anon here, sorry if I sounded offended. Gaslighting is a very specific type of abuse that I went through for a very long time and while Jade is very toxic and problematic, he is not a gaslighter so it bothers me when people slap that on as a catch-all for all manipulative characters. Again, sorry if I sounded angry or offended.

Anon, I heard you. And I am sincerely sorry that you went through some very bad stuff in your life.

However. I want to say something and I am not going to mince my words this time because I need to make one thing clear.

Here is TLDR if you don’t want to read the whole post: No offence, but I can’t keep in mind everyone’s trauma, I don’t think Rook is a gaslighter, we will continue to post content about Jade being one.

I disagree with you on Jade not being a gaslighter and Rook being one. I don't think that this is the case, in fact, I think the opposite is true. But we are not going to have a character discussion right now because this clearly isn't the point of the situation that’s happening here. Based on what you’re saying, your opinion is influenced by your past experiences. Which isn’t a bad thing, we all have our own biases, but it makes a proper discussion quite difficult, especially when there is trauma involved.

Here is the thing. I know what gaslighting is. I myself was also a victim of gaslighting, believe it or not. I was in a very bad place for a lot of years, and some of the events from that time affect me to this day. There are a lot of things that trigger me, ruin my mood, make me panic, in fact, all of us have those things to some degree. And all of us have content that is deeply upsetting, even if it’s not related to one’s past trauma. But that doesn’t justify asking people on the internet to stop talking about characters a certain way or reading them a certain way. How is it different than people asking us not to post Shroudcest or not to talk about them in as a romantic ship? There might be people who don’t just use it as an excuse, but are actually getting triggered by me drawing these two, so what should I do about it? Obey every single one of those people? Then it’s just easier not to post anything about any character.

Unfortunate as it is, I cannot take care of all of you: it's impossible. You have to take care of yourself. Mute the word, avoid our posts about Jade, whatever feels more suitable. Because we are not going to rewrite the way we view certain characters because of someone else’s bad associations or even just different reading of the said character, it just isn't fair to ask that of someone. You didn’t say “you know, I personally don’t think that Jade is this way, because of this, this and this”. This isn’t how you approached this; you were upset about the fact that I made Jade into a gaslighter instead of making Rook one, and this is clearly your bias. Which is, once again, not a bad thing in itself, it’s just that I still have no idea what exactly you wanted me to do. Even if Rook reminds you of someone from your past, even if Jade is your comfort character, I can’t take those things into account about every single one of our followers, so why should I do it for you? This wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the people here, right?

We are all entitled to our own opinions and feelings, and I wouldn’t dare to argue with you about it anywhere else: this topic is clearly hurting you; so arguing about it would just be mean and uncalled for. But this is our blog, our space and our territory; and we are going to talk about the characters in the way that we want. Especially when this is a hc post, for fuck’s sake.

You didn’t sound offended or mad, you sounded upset. And I might also sound upset, but I actually am a little mad because if you are the person I think you are, I am a bit disappointed by you saying this to me via Anon.

Please understand. I am being this strict because I feel like I need to remind you about certain boundaries that I don’t want to get violated.

Having bad associations and getting triggered by a character is a horrible thing, and as someone who had to rewatch a bunch of stuff to get new fond memories of quite a lot of characters, I understand that,  believe it or not. I actually had to rewatch a lot of shit to get to love some characters again. And it was my fight to fight that Katsu was kind enough to help me with because Katsu is my partner who wanted me to get better: I am a part of Katsu’s life, that’s why Katsu listened patiently when I was mad at a character that had nothing to do with the thing I was actually mad about.

My point is that we have our own circumstances, and you have no idea how bad of a timing this whole shit is. You don’t know what kind of life we live and what we go through right now, and, to put it mildly, it’s not the best, so we’re really not in the mood.

So please. Take care of yourself and just ignore shit that you don’t like because while it might be traumatic for you, to us it might be one of the few things that bring us happiness.

This is such a difficult question to answer, I can’t pick 😭 Pretty much every title that we watch or read or play has a bunch of characters that I adore drawing, but I guess I gravitate towards characters with long hair and unusual hairstyles or outfits?? I also feel the urge to try to draw a character when they are out of my comfort zone, which doesn’t mean that I always do it or good at it, but I always have fun drawing stuff in a different art style (like the guys from Scott Pilgrim),with complicated outfits (like Barok van Zieks) or with mechanic parts (like Ortho!)… but the last one is pretty recent, I just noticed that I kind of enjoy drawing it. I guess I love a challenge? In a way? It’s just more fun that way.

By my comfort type of character and a default option would be a gloomy boy/girl in a hoody, my heart is always smiling whenever I draw this type.

Do you have any headcanons for dynamics between Ortho and the other first years?

Sorry for the late reply, Anon! I really love it when Ortho is grouped with the first years, I am still so happy that he is officially a student now lol

Here are some thoughts…

Ace performs card tricks for Ortho. Well, he does it for everyone whenever he feels like it, but Ortho is always very excited for those; but he kind of sees them as puzzles, as if he has to figure out how the trick works. Ace thinks it’s weird… still, he likes having an invested audience, so he doesn’t really mind. Ace is also quite curious about Ortho, his search system, his relationship with Idia, his purity (does he have one), so he asks a lot of questions, but Ortho just says it’s a “se~cret” most of the times. Oh, and Ortho is extremely good at seeing through Ace’s tricks.

Ortho helps Deuce out with homework sometimes! And if they are in the same classroom for some reason, he’ll be happy to give him a hint or even a cheat sheet, although Deuce doesn’t really like those. Still, Ortho loves both being useful and having to be stealthy about this thing just so he doesn’t get yelled at by the teacher. This is such a fun experience to him… But also, he asked Deuce for help once too. He didn’t really need it, but he really enjoyed listening to Deuce’s poor explanation. They also talk about bikes a lot (with both Deuce and Epel).

Ortho is excited to get along with everyone, but Jack is still a bit confused about how he is supposed to feel about Ortho. He is pretty neutral about him, but Ortho was eager to find common ground with him, and it was jogging. Ortho doesn’t get to use his running gear a lot, so running with Jack is a great excuse to develop and upgrade the gear further + befriend Jack! They also talk about siblings, and it’s funny because while Jack talks about taking care of his younger siblings, Ortho talks about how he makes sure Idia doesn’t forget to eat…

Ortho hangs out with Epel quite regularly actually due to being so close to Vil and the Film Research club. Maybe it’s because of the fact that both of them are small and a bit childish, but he is the most playful and mischievous with Epel; he teases him, but they also have a lot of mutual “>:3c” moments. So sometimes Epel feels like he actually got himself a sibling, but then he blinks and suddenly Ortho acts like Vil’s perfect little assistant. Epel doesn’t get how he can do both, I guess it’s because he is an AI…. (not really, Epel)

Ortho and Sebek don’t really interact all that much, but Ortho is still as intrigued by him as by any other student. Finding common ground with him also turned out to be the most difficult…  but he did listen to his ode for Malleus once! He was very patient and stoic, and Sebek has enough of understanding of an AI to think that Ortho wouldn’t mind him talking for like 4 hours. He was very satisfied because Idia’s younger brother was a much more pleasant person to talk to! Even though Ortho didn’t really say much… but he learned a lot that day (Idia immediately told Ortho to delete all this data, it’s useless noise lol)

Whenever Grim can’t see something because of his height, Ortho grabs him and flies higher so both of them could watch that thing they couldn’t see… a couple of shorties.

They have gaming tournaments pretty much regularly! You know, with the gaming system they got as a gift for Yuu and Grim. And things gets bloody because the boys are competitive, and Ortho is one of the most competitive ones. He doesn’t care that he is a computer, the fact that no one can beat him is just skill issue lol

So uhhh sorry for the late reply, guys!

I thought it would be a quick one, because to be honest I don’t really have many new things to say about the two, especially because we don’t really see them often and don’t know much about them. But as I started writing, this happened.

I thought the post would be mostly wholesome but still ended up writing something horny. It isn’t that bad though, should’ve been more cursed to be honest.

Back when Crewel was a student, he saw a picture of younger Trein in a school photo album at NRC library. His initial reaction was to show it to everyone, but something stopped him, so he never did. For some reason, he felt very possessive and jealous over that newfound knowledge, even though the fact that Trein was young once isn’t really a secret lol He cringes when he thinks about it now. But he still comes to the library to look at it every once in a while. And thinks that Trein seemed like a bore even when he was Crewel’s age lol

Crewel was super happy when Trein let him to look after Lucius while he was gone (during the Masquerade event). When Trein mentioned that he was worried about Lucius because he couldn’t bring him for the trip, Crewel replied with “I can take care of him” so quickly that it was almost embarrassing. He himself wasn’t even sure why he was so eager to take the cat home, considering that he wasn’t even a cat person. This is why he made all those teasing jokes about how he was going to make Lucius learn all kinds of dog tricks – it was mostly him trying to make Trein remember that he was still annoying as fuck and wasn’t helping him out just to be nice.

Sam knows what’s up between them, mostly because Crewel chats with him every time he buys cigarettes and other stuff at his store. Crewel doesn’t lament about his conflicting feelings, but he does complain about Trein a lot, and Sam knows how to read people, so at this point this is Sam’s personal irl dorama lol Vargas wouldn’t know that something is going on even if he saw it with his own eyes, and Crowley… who knows?

Despite being seemingly naive and oblivious, Trein is aware that Crewel thinks that he is vanilla. Trein doesn’t think he is vanilla (in fact, he considers this term quite ridiculous), he just thinks he is classy + an old man. But it does tickle him when Crewel gets frustrated with him, so sometimes he even teases him by making it seem like he doesn’t understand what Crewel is talking about. Trein isn’t nearly as naïve as Crewel thinks he is, so he really enjoys it when Crewel is fuming but can’t explain why. This boy is such a child sometimes….

The first time Crewel kissed Trein was during some kind of after party for teachers after the school event. Vargas and Sam went to get more drinks, Crowley also wasn’t there (remember when they didn’t invite him? lol), so Crewel just sat closer to Trein, flirted with him and then just went for it. Maybe it was the alcohol, but Trein was kind of teasing him back, but he still didn’t realise that they would end up kissing.

Trein kind of thought that it wasn’t that serious, and that Crewel would finally calm down after that, in a “whatever happened back then doesn’t matter” way. But the opposite happened because Crewel started flirting with Trein more openly and aggressively after that, asking him personal questions, leaning and touching, acting like a predator at times. The mature thing to do for Trein would be to scold Crewel and set strong boundaries, but for some reason he didn’t… isn’t he just too lenient with this boy?

When that started happening, it was Trein’s turn to be conflicted, because Crewel suddenly got super determined, as if that one sloppy kiss made it super clear that he wants to fuck Trein. So it became his active mission all of a sudden, resulting in a lot of “by the way, when was the last time you had sex, Trein-sensei?” and “did you know that students used to make out on your desk when I myself was a student? I was one of these people”. These questions annoy and embarrass Trein, but he tries to stay calm… while obviously blushing.

Things very quickly turned pretty physical with them, basically Crewel just started catching Trein, hugging him, touching him, groping him sometimes; whenever they are alone, he’s going to cling and put his hands under Trein’s robes. He likes to touch his waist and hips, and a lot of times this is enough to leave poor Trein red and panting, but he does touch his private parts as well. And then at some point Crewel would start humping against his hips, and things would get so scarily close to them having sex at school, that Trein would push him away and avoid him for a couple of days.

Trein was refusing to have sex with Crewel for like a month or so, but then his strict “no” turned into “not in school”. Which prompted Crewel to invite him to his place or a hotel (preferable), but Trein refused… so, in school it is then. At the library. The same one where Crewel found that one picture all those years ago. But this time it’s not him looking at an old picture longingly, this time it’s him fucking the man from that picture on the desk. And the man biting his glove fiercely not to make any sound. He really hates how much he loves it.

Remember when Crewel thought that he would be free after having sex with Trein? Jokes on him, because now he is fully obsessed and thinks just how much bdsm Trein’s body could handle. He’ll definitely make him wear a collar now that he knows that Trein is going to complain, but ultimately do whatever he asks him to do. Even if it means that Trein is going to tease him afterwards for being a kid and playing with toys.
