hello, is posting about Toumyu against the policy? I posted the Youtube video about the announcement of MichiOku and the interview, and someone requested me to delete it because "it's against the rules". Thank you!
Hiya! :D
It really depends on what you're posting on YouTube about the news, but if it's a clip that is taken from any stage play, not limited to the Musical Touken Ranbu, then, yes, it's against the policy because the stage plays are copyrighted and reposting anything from them is against regulations.
It's particularly frowned upon in fandom to post clips from stage plays which has only been released on streaming, and not on Blu-ray/DVD, especially when the stage play is still running.
(Which is likely the reason why you've received that request because "Musical Touken Ranbu ~Michi no Oku Hitotsu Hachisu~" is still ongoing in Japan.)
A big reason for this is because Japan is particularly strict about copyright laws. If clips of stage plays are found by the companies of the stage plays and/or the official streaming platforms, there is a chance that they might place even stricter restrictions on access to streams, and YouTube, in particular, is a site that these companies use often.
