WE DON’T WANNA FIGHT!

Today is the most powerful and scary day of my life. Russia, my own country, has started a war against Ukraine. I’ve never believed that our president can do such a stupid and cruel thing to the ppl I love, but he did. He did it because he can do that without thinking about our lives, our beliefs and our dreams. He has a power, not us. He decide who will live or who will die.

Today I know that I was wrong. I was such a child. Somehow I’ve understood that I was ready to hear that kind of news right before it was published and announced, We’ve started a war. We, Russian ppl, who don’t wanna fight, in 1 day and 1 night transformed into invaders. BUT IT IS THE REAL TRUTH. We still do believe that this is a bad dream, we will woke up tomorrow and everything will be all right… again… No…No, it won’t be. It can not be fine any more. We are responsible for everything that’s happening today, because we fought against government and failed it, because everyone, who participated in peaceful processions. are imprisoned, because we are too afraid to stand and say; ‘we need help”. Our politicians and paid media use the information space to intimidate and silence us, deceive and distort reality. Elderly people are no longer able to fight this stream of lies, they are defenseless in the face of fear and death. They believe in everything the official authorities tell them. The older generation is ready to go die for the sake of someone who just wants to divide the world into before and after.

Today I don’t know what to do. I’ haven’t slept and I am tired, but I can not help but wait to hear that we can make a change. I am a quarter Ukrainian, I love that country, I speak some Ukrainian dialects as Surzhik, I have friends there, I wanna go to Kiev and Odessa one day.. I am not an enemy, and I don’t wanna fight against  my dear neighbors. I am not ready to die for nothing. I live happily without that war and captured lands. One of my Ukrainian friend lives with her daughter in Crimea, and another friend are from Bucha, a city near Kiev. I love them both! I can not imagine that i can betray our relationships and their faith in me. Plz, stop the war!

Today and a day before, a lot of ppl went on the Russian streets to express our own opinion, which we are not allowed to express in words: “we are against the war”. We are strong enough to survive and do not cry these days, and we do not support our politic actions. REBLOG! reblog! REBLOG! REPOST! repost! Stay safe!

There are a lot of good ppl here and there, Plz, pray for us, ppl in Ukraine and Russia. Do not believe in everything our government says. Make a change!
