Reblogging this, as the third eruption in as many years has started on the Reykjanes Peninsula, just south of Litla-Hrút.

I'm totally not figuring out the best way to ask for time off on short notice!

I recommend IcelandFPV on YouTube for amazing drone shots and streams of the eruption, and JustIcelandic for super detailed and informative vids on the countries geology.

Of course to anyone going to this or to any eruption, be safe and adhere to any guidelines in place- chances are you won't be rescued.

I… how do I start? I can’t even begin to express how much Seb means to me. He is… was, my dad’s favourite driver. He was the reason I could actually get closer to my dad 🤣 We found something to finally geek together about. And then my dad passed away.
