Hey guys.

I realise not many people are likely to see this as tumblr seems dead for me when it comes to engagement lately, but I want to give an update.

I just got back from being in the emergency ward for 4 hours after a big health scare. I’m okay (physically) now, but I’ve been going through a lot lately, most recently I had to say goodbye to Peeko 2 weeks ago after she suddenly developed a tumour. We took her to the vet immediately but 2 days later she went in to surgery to try to remove it but sadly, she didn’t make it through. A week after this happened, I had surgery of my own, and I’ve been off work this week recovering from that.

If you are interested in helping me out, my commissions are open. There is no ‘emergency commissions’ sale despite my financial issues of late, because taking on more work for less money isn’t good for my health right now

Random sketch I did the other day that I coloured with markers. Unfortunately, the phone photo kinda ruins the quality.

This was my first time colouring a darker skin tone with markers since my previous set didnt have any suitable colours, so I wasnt entirely sure which colours to mix together. Also just realised I forgot to draw highlights onto her eyes with my gel pen

On top of my own medical costs, Peeko has very rapidly developed a cancerous tumour and will be getting high risk surgery in 2 days… the cost of this doesn’t make me hesitate at all because I will do anything to try to save her, but already struggling with money then this happens. I could take more comms but I can assure you I will not be having the motivation to draw if I lose her ;-;

It’s crazy to me that I have double the followers on Tumblr than on Twitter but the insane difference in engagement I get. I half wonder if I should make a new blog since this one began as an ffxiv blog and since lessening my participation in xiv content I feel like this blog is just dead
