"Roman Godfrey!" Ray screamed looking upset but the second he looked at her she broke into the biggest smile. "Happy Valentine's!" She ran over to him pulling him down to kiss him deeply. When she pulled back she was still smiling. "I got you a gift." she held up a box. inside was a engraved pocket watch inscribed with the words It was always you. -Ray

At first, Roman wondered what the hell he’d done. It wasn’t completely unusual for him to get into trouble with Ray if he’d done something, but this time he really couldn’t remember having done anything.  When she kissed him, that worry melted as he kissed her back, pulling her to him. 

Opening the box, he hummed, kissing her again.  “I love this,” he assured.  “I have something for you too, but you’re going to have to wait until tonight after work.”

"Yeah.... We tend to throw big parties too," he grinned, looking at the joint before passing it over. "Half the people here are people I don't know though. Family or not, unless it's a party like this we stay in our circles."

Looking him over though, he grinned.

"At least they ditched you somewhere friendly. Name's Peter."

Peter looked up the comment and chuckled, his gaze sweeping over the crowds of people on the lawn as smoke from the joint he was smoking rolled from his lips. He didn’t smoke much these days, but in events like this, it helped him relax. “Yeah, more than half these people are my family and I don’t know most of them either,” he mused over the folk music playing from inside before he handed the joint over to him. “It helps… or at least it helps me. It can be a lot to take in. Did you get an invite, or just see the party and stop by?”

Staring out at the crowd of people, he had finally given up and was standing off by the other. The smell of weed had pulled him over, but he didn’t press to get some, not wanting to be rude. He shook his head and chuckled quietly. “Uh, was kinda a tag along with my friends, third wheel type of shit, but I lost them about twenty minutes ago and their car is gone so guessing they ditched me here.” He shrugged and sighed, “You got a big family though..” He mumbled and glanced back toward the party.

"If that's what you want, then breakfast in bed it is," he assured, kissing over her shoulders before he drug himself from bed, stretching as he did. Padding out to the kitchen, he got started on their food, making some coffee for himself and some juice for her since caffeine was a no no for now.

“You don’t have to. I can get up and make you breakfast,” he assured, his lips ghosting over her stomach again. He loved knowing they’d made this child. There was a special bond he felt to them both that he didn’t know how to explain.  “Bacon and eggs sound good? Or I can do sausage? I just got orange juice yesterday.”

“Thank you babe.” The bed was warm under her and really, she didn’t even want him to get up, especially with all the attention he was giving her. Green hues watched him and she bit her bottom lip gently before cupping his cheek. Running her thumb against his skin, the werecat sighed softly, completely enamored with him, “No, that sounds perfect. Promise to have breakfast in bed with me though?” She asked, letting her hand move to rest against her baby bump. She was well along now, at the point where most days exhausted her, but she was still extremely excited about their little bundle of joy.

"You're always fucking weird, but you're weirder high," Roman smirked, moving to grab the phone to call for delivery.

"Eggrolls too?"

“Hey Roman you wanna get some snacks ? I’m starving “

“Why you asking me? How much did you smoke?’ Roman teased, wondering if he had the munchies. He nodded though, moving to get up. Olivia wasn’t home so Peter being there was safe for the time being.

"An adult drink that you can't have," Peter retorted.

"It's for adult humans. Not Wendigos. Plus it's kinda bitter. You wouldn't like it. I can let you have a pop of you wanna try one though."

August woke up from his nap on the couch, it was mid winter, his antlers had fallen off and two little nubs were growing in their place . He yawned and stretched seeing the cat nearby and had a determined look on his face, he was going to pet Casper, this time for sure . He slowly reached a hand out towards the small furry creature . (Dxntplaydead)

Peter was leaning on the counter in the kitchen, sipping on a beer when he saw what August was attempting. He thought for just a moment about warning him, but he decided against it. August was hard headed and he needed to learn that there were consequences to his actions. Silently, he watched as Casper bowed his back, ready to strike.

"I am never drinking with you again." She huffed dramatically, flopping down on the sofa near him, resting her head on his shoulder. Their work relationship had taken a more passionate turn as of late and she had no issue being a bit more affectionate towards him when they weren't working.

“Somehow I don’t believe that,” Roman smirked, his arm going around her as she relaxed against him.  “You’ll say that for a few days, but soon you’ll change your tune and bring over more wine the next time you come over,” he teased.

Rachael moved to sit next to Peter holding out a cupcake. "Can I bribe you to talk? I have a problem and for once I don't think goin' ta Ro is gonna help."

Peter’s blue hues moved between her and the confection in her hand before he took it. “Okay.... what’s on your mind. Normally I think talking to your boyfriend is probably a better idea, unless he’s the problem,” he commented, licking icing off the top.

Roman glanced over to him, his backpack slung over his shoulder.  “Sure. I don’t see why not. I have to go drop Shelly off at home, but after that I can head over,” he assured.  “Need me to bring anything?”
