This year's prize will be a 2-set of these gorgeous can badges from Kyoanishop, featuring the Spoon2di covers we still can't quite believe are actually real! To enter this giveaway, all you need to do is:

Read the rules carefully (we have relaxed & simplified them a little since last year's edition! 😌)!

Post a submission for Sakurathon '24 (following our posting protocol!) sometime between April 27th & 28th. This can be just about anything: fanfic, art, poetry, cosplay, merchandise photos, AMVs, etc...

Make sure we are able to get in touch with you in case YOU turn out to be the lucky winner!

We'll announce one (100% random!) lucky winner on May 1st, 2024. Since this prize is a pre-order item from Kyoanishop and doesn't ship out until sometime at the end of April, it will be shipped worldwide with tracking as soon as possible. @sakurathon will obviously cover all of the costs!

do you believe haru is autistic coded or just shy?

Hii!

Yees, I've definitely always thought that Haru is autistic coded. He has shown signs since Season 1.

For example, Haru has trouble expressing himself both with facial expressions and words (Makoto does that for him most of the time), so he's pretty silent. But when he *does* speak, he's pretty blunt! He has shown that he's not really agreeable to touch, like when he's hugged he doesn't return it or he looks unamused when people use his shoulder as armrest, and of course, when people break his routine. Also, he has quite the obsessions like swimming, generally water, mackerel and mascots.

I can maybe think of one of these habits that he has changed in later seasons, but the rest? They're still there, Haru is still Haru, and we love him (but Rin even more so).

A preview of Sweet Nectar with Salt Water, a HaruRin fic for the Medley Reverse Bang @thenightpool - based on the beautiful artwork by @sapphiresflame <3 <3

The room was starting to swim in Rin’s vision. He had no more time to think about the situations of Haru’s life outside the immediate interactions with the ex-swimmer. He was laughing at something mundane Haru said which was just so Haru, when Haru leaned in and kissed him over their drinks. Such soft lips, and a sweet, gentle kiss. Rin couldn’t believe what was happening, so he needed to know whether it was an accident in the crowded bar. “Did you mean to do that?” he asked. “Why? Don’t you want that?” Haru asked. “Well, I WANT it, but that’s not why you should do it,” Rin said.  “What if I wanted to do it?” Haru asked seriously.  Rin thought the situation was mighty unexpected but he answered honestly. “Then I’m happy.”  “Happy as a clam?” Haru said as he put a hand on Rin’s knee. “Haru,” Rin admonished, “Is that flirting?” Haru moved his hand up Rin’s thigh slightly and squeezed. “I have no idea how to flirt. I don’t see the need.” 

The synopsis for the fic: When swim coach Rin meets office admin Haru in Australia, things take an unexpected turn as they embark on an exciting night adventure.
