life update: moved out/ran away from my toxic household and am living with my best friend. turned 19 a little over a week ago. am currently focusing on writing and getting back into reading with kafka on the shore. spent the whole week going out with good people and good music, tired but made memories and new/old friends :)

There is so much love in this world and I think I sometimes forget. Animals and kids are so helpless and trusting and you want to protect them and in that there is inherent love. We hold open doors for strangers and share our food with friends and touch someone’s arm to get their attention and touch their heart with our words. You don’t say anything when someone is leaning against you and your arm is falling asleep and laugh at their joke when it wasn’t very funny but their eyes are so bright. You think “hm _____ would like this” when at the grocery store and buy it. And when you can’t express it right it’s in the way you look at someone and the way they hold your eyes back, the way you see and are seen. Love is inherent and I think I forget that, but because it is inherent that means it doesn’t go away and you can always come back to it.

life lately

a lot of painting, going to coffee shops and parks, playing the guitar at inconvenient hours and trying to write my own music, and finding a balance

the semester is finally over and I can officially start my gap semester *cough* drop out *cough* and focus on working to move out of my house soon and devote my time to creating (art/music/writing/etc.) which school was ironically distracting me from

feels like I’ve changed a lot this year and have felt a lot of judgement for coming into my own and feeling comfortable with who I’m becoming and the things I want so this playlist sums up those vibes
