okay though to be absolutely clear tumblr isn’t officially shutting down. a lot of people who work on it are just being moved to other projects within automattic so tumblr is gonna be run by the Minimum amount of people possible, which is worrying in regards to this sites future. that’s why i’m coming up with backup plans to keep in touch with people and still be able to share my art

food was partially reimbursed! phone has also been replaced, and the guy gave me an otterbox phone bc he felt bad for not fixing my first one 😭

hey so my fridge died and my phone is typing by itself now. it’s pretty much useless. i tried to get it fixed today but it mightve just put me in a hole.

I need a new phone (~300) and more food (200) bc i just spent a paycheck getting groceries and the food shelf on saturday, I can’t get more

I can do comms starting august if people want to get one but I just need these funds upfront. if anyone is able to help I’d appreciate it

phone is still bad, if not worse bc it's unusable now. I got it to work a few times to get some contact numbers on my roommate's phone instead, but that's pretty much it.

food has not been reimbursed by any insurance or my property management yet but i have an idea that may work. we got groceries anyway bc the fridge was practically empty

ive gotten $40 in donations so far, and I'm so forever grateful for the assistance- please continue sharing my info if you're capable of doing so, and just letting people know that I'll be taking commissions as well (i know i repinned over it but I can find the info for u) so feel free to ask about those

also pypal let mepay in 4 so I'm only doing 60 per month to pay off a new phone. would still like to get donations for it :(

working with my housing manager to try and get reimbursements; unfortunately without renter’s insurance my property management won’t do anything

freezer was mostly safe since I never opened it since I got home from work

going to the mall again today to try and get my phone fixed bc it still has problems, won’t let me hit the screen accurately with the screen protector

I got a $20 donation and Imm so grateful but I still have to make a grocery run today and my housemate is offering to pay for this aaaahhhhhhh

There was a confession about the truth of the money being used in the art fight staff server, and while it is transparency. It’s not good enough.

Takaia needs to tell her userbase she wasn’t being honest about what it’s being used for. I’ve always suspected it was used for her own benefit. No matter what the circumstances, you cannot use money you raised from donations.

I have DM’d The51 with my proof of my words. But, knowing how many quit today and who is now in charge, I do not see art fight happening next year.

Nor should anyone allow Takaia to “fix” the negligence she has done. Because this has been happening ever since she has taken over art fight. Fake promises of being paid for volunteering. Removing the pie chart of money expenses from the website for unknown reasons.

I’m only speaking now because all of my concerns and worse fears have been confirmed to be true and it’s absolutely devastating. I would advise you all to stop playing after this month is over. At least ten years of misleading and abuse of power should not be taken lightly.

I hope someone in the USA takes legal action against Takaia very soon, this is no where near legal.

After watching the anipoke episode Ring Masters, it got me inspired for a little something. What if for the Pokemon fanworks you've considered, a ssireum based minigame was to be put in that has some elements of both the jump rope ones in FRLG & the Pokeathlon in HGSS, such as the weight classes & the training minigames in them along with the ability to play with NPCs and/or other players?

Sounds fun!!!! It seems like something that’s be possible to implement in the region as a sort of local olympics,

for mechanics, itd probably be sorted by weight class like u said, and level, but maybe the trainer can also use some special cheers for extra strength :D though I feel like with the rules in place theyd have to be at least bipedal or walk on legs, since there’s no ‘knee-height’ on a snake pokemon…

the idea of multiplayer would be kinda fun too

Thinking about it more, I kinda liked how interactive BW/2 was with their minigames in the trading aspect, but just transferred into competitive sport instead

(I haven’t watched anipoke since XY but im gonna gather some friends and marathon the new series coming out)
