Hey friends, I’ve no interest in turning this blog into a business, but I’m up for the occasional commission. If you like what you see and you want me to make something for you, I’d be happy to do it! Here are my prices.

Okay, who wants to see how I built my Determination Gauntlet piece by piece? This project took an unbelievable amount of trial and error. I almost gave up several times, but my excitement for GR Con filled me with determination!
First I made some fingers. I originally wanted to have a working, moveable gauntlet, but I quickly realized that was out of my skill range.
Then I started trying to piece together a frame for my hand. It took several tries, and it didn’t help that I was my own model.
Then I elaborated and kept adding pieces. Getting the shape right on the back of my hand was harder than you’d expect.
Kept filling in pieces... (& added 5 of the souls)
Then I finished the glove and started on the forearm! I had to do a lot of brainstorming and number crunching before I had a satisfactory plan.
Finished! Except it was way too yellow...
So I got out the paint! I watered down some gold paint and also added a little brown. Then voila! My masterpiece was complete!
Sadly I didn’t get any good pictures of my cosplay, but I had a great time at the con and got So many compliments! Plus, I’m really proud of my accomplishment. It’s absolutely one of a kind, because I couldn’t make an exact copy if I tried 😂

I made this for a crossover cosplay for Grand Rapids Comic Con last year. I call it my Determination Gauntlet! You have to admit there are a lot of parallels between Undertale and the Infinity Gauntlet. Whoooo boy, this project took a lot of trial and error. Progress pics coming soon!

So apparently my friend needed her TikTok sign to be mirrored... so she asked me to make another one, but this time she commissioned me! She even helped me make a snazzy layout thingy for my future commission prices! I’ll be posting that soon, but for now here’s the subscribe sign 2.0 for your_favorite_gamer_mom on TikTok ^-^
I changed the colors a bit to match the TikTok logo.

I wasn’t satisfied with the way it turned out, so I did some tweaking. I put a little gold paint over the yellow, and I also tore up the dark gray on the right side of the blade. It just wasn’t blending well enough, so I replaced it with the medium gray.
Okay, Now I’m done :P

Added the dark gray. Hopefully the 3 shades blend well 😬

Here’s my hilt of Narsil within all of the non-gray colors. That golden yellow might be a bit too yellow and not enough gold... Maybe I’ll use a little bit of paint.

Another progress pic of my hilt of Narsil. I used thin pieces of wire (instead of every twisty tie we own) to hold the pieces together until I was ready to stitch each part. Also, I only have one gray colored pencil, so I got creative ^-^

I’m gonna try doing things a little differently. Here’s the beginning of my most recent project. I had an itch to do something Tolkien-y. More pics coming soon!

Here’s a sign I made for my friend to put in the background of her TikTok videos. She should be getting it in the mail any day now. She’s a big theatre geek, so I tried to make it look like a marquee (and she likes pink). Check out your_favorite_gamer_mom on TikTok!
