While Marinette (romantic) can't handle touching Adrien on her own and can't help but recoil from him (tho ofc not all the time)

okay but what if. what if adrinette realized they are always accidentally head butting each other and he’s like “sorry my lady, just need to borrow your quick wit” and touches their foreheads together. or she’s like “I have a physics exam and I need your smarts more than you!” and she brings their heads together and they both make a stupid sci-fi-esque noise to “initiate transfer”.

Do you ever just think about that moment in Dark Owl when Adrien felt his lady's hand for the first time and how much he was probably freaking out over that and still is??? Because I do, all the time.

So today I got a rather unkind comment on AO3 (one could call it hate), but I believe it to be a bot for several reasons:

Guest account, but username attached

Said username exists but person is unlikely to be reading Tolkien fic (according to their Tumblr and AO3, they are in other fandoms)

Two grammatically correct sentences

Super generic text that could apply to any fic:

"I've seen better fanfiction written by a toddler. Get it together!"

I'm curious, did anyone else get comments like this? Let me know.

And to those who have gotten rude comments and are now worried/upset: Maybe it was just a bot too. Either way: You're awesome for putting your writing out there for others to enjoy and you don't deserve to get rude comments for it. If you want feel free to message me to compare cases and discuss details :)

THE END!! I can't believe I finally completed this. When I first started this comic, I had no idea that it would end up being this long. A little over 3 years and over 200 parts, so around 2000 panels. (My folder that holds all my files relating to this comic is 3 GB with 2,017 items....). I honestly can't believe that I managed to stick around to the end of this. Thank you all so much for the support, I never imagined that so many people would care about this comic when I started it!

Of course, there are still some loose threads. The kwamis and Nathalie for example, but the core of this series has always been about the emotional conflict between Marinette and Adrien, and that has been resolved. I have some epilogue ideas to cover those loose ends, but this comic has already taken so much of my time and I'm not sure I want to promise that I'll get around to it. ... But who knows. Maybe!

For now, Adrien and Marinette will get some long-deserved rest.
