Because I’m such a kind, KIND soul, and in celebration of me writing a whole whopping 1,713 words today🥳🥳, I bring you a sneak peek of my Bobby whump fic:
“Perhaps we need to teach you cocky little runt a lesson,” he said, his eyes narrowing. Bobby glared right back at him, despite their difference in height.
“You’re welcome to try,” Bobby responded. He put his arms out to the side and nodded his head once. “I’m ready.”
And…
He wedged his shoulder underneath Bobby’s arm, carefully holding on to his side. Bobby swayed as the sudden upward movement made him dizzy. He blinked to try to clear it, then saw what the commotion was. Despite the pain and dizziness, he couldn’t help but smirk. His boys were really doing a job on the varsity boys, who didn’t seem so tough now that they were going up against six of the JV boys.
Hopefully that gives you a teeeeeny but of a taste of what’s to come, and gets you excited for what’s gonna come!🤭 I have no clue when it’ll be finished though. I’m at 1,713 words and I wouldn’t say I’m even halfway through.
Today my co/worker told me I have classy taste🥰 And I’m not gonna lie: hearing that made me feel really good🥹
For context, one co/worker, who I truly do like and is my favorite, is always giving me a hard time for what I like: my taste in men, my fascination with history, an appreciation for dresses, etc. Sometimes, I get a lil self-conscious of my interests when I talk to her.
BUT, my other co/worker told me: “You have really good taste! You read, you write, you like medieval history and World War II and delve into whatever you’re currently interested in. As far as I’m concerned, your taste is classy and it’s Lisa who has questionable taste. Embrace it. Don’t feel insecure about it.
